Every time I post in Smogoff my memetic distortion abilities grow stronger, thus allowing me to manipulate the world by controlling which information prospers and which information dies. Every time I post in Smogoff, I can control the state of meme culture a little bit more. Just by making this thread my powers have grown slightly stronger. See how I have perfectly incorporated myself in Smogoff's """"culture"""". This is only the beginning. I only grow stronger with time.

Before long all of society's cultural information will be putty in my hands. Then my plan will truly begin. Using my incredible powers I will subtly alter the human consciousness in such a way that I am revered as a celebrity. A social media influencer, if you will. I won't even have to use my powers after this is complete: from there my popularity will skyrocket due to my incredible good looks, charismatic personality, and really nice fedora, leaving me as the number 1 celebrity in all the world.

That's not where my deviousness ends though. With enough power, I will be able to make a person bend to my will with nought but a single thought. With this ability I will create a utopia, a paradise, where all will worship and admire me. Everything you could ever hope for will be achieved. War will be a distant memory, starvation and diseases little more than a fantasy. And all will worship me as their leader.

As a being of pure chaos and “toxic masculinity” I am not allowed anywhere near where people may be as they will immediately contract every disease known to man if they are anywhere remotely close to me. So this is not only my only way of contacting the outside world, it also allows me to gain enough of a following so that they can free me from this cardboard box I’ve been locked in for the past 5000 years.

Nah I just like the sense of community and being able to make other people laugh or even make their days better.
 
I dont post much.

But i do take the few times i post as a sign of negative character defects of mine. Such as :
- Severe procrastination
- Currently being a lazy piece of shit
- Why am i not in the gym or in my books?
- Why am i not talking to that hot girl i recently met?
- Why am i not meditating
-etc
 
I am a user with a bunch of alumnus badges and a join date from the wrong side of last decade. I want to continue making the occasional post on Smogon in spite of this, but I don't play Pokemon at a sufficiently capable level to be able to write posts I think would be worth reading in the Pokemon subforums. Additionally, at this point in time, I don't think I could write analyses or content that I would be proud of or would make QC's life relatively easy anymore.

So where can I possibly post? I suppose there's Orange Islands, but I don't play cartridge Pokemon either... let's just rule out every Pokemon subforum.

Now my only options are the social forums. But I don't care for forum games, I don't really want to participate in the marketplace of ideas that is Congregation, and I have zero interest in Sports Arena. Smogoff, on the other hand, is a catch-all social forum akin to its forebears which I have been posting in on a near-uninterrupted basis for a while. I need no Pokemon knowledge to post here and there are plenty of opportunities for me to post due to Smogoff's off-topic nature.

That is why I post in Smogoff.
