This is the team i've been using on Wifi, I need a new starter becoz gyarados isnt doing well

This is my lead and it's supposed to be a good one but its not. I'm open to suggestions here. So any lead that comes in ur mind post it !

Ssorgatem ( Metagross) @ Choice scarf
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 Atk/ 252 Spe/ 6 HP
-Meteor mash
-Earthquake
-Thunder punch
-Ice punch
This has been working wonders for me! Outspeeding gengar, Tauros, Mismagius, Garchomp, Lucario is great. It's so unpredictable. Meteor mash for stab, Earthquake for steels ice punch and thunder punch for the famous boltbeam combo.

Elivaew (Weavile) @ Life orb
Nature : Jolly
EVs: 252 Atk/ 252 spe/ 6 HP
-Ice punch
-Night slash
-Brick break
-Swords dance
This is sword dance weavile and its been doing very good. I dunno if I should put pursuit in there but i dont think its neccessairy (srry for spelling) coz all gengar predict it and stay in so i night slash 4 the OHKO. Ice shard is considerable but scarf chomp is oretty rare on wifi. Thoughts?

Forry is my spiker, physical wall and rapid spinner. I need rapid spin becoz gyarados and weavile r weak to SR . I'm thinking of adding rest or expolsion in there.Suggestions? Not much to say here anymore.

Dusknoir plays an important role in my team. It blocks rapid spin and is my secondary wall. Wich one of the punches should i use?

Ecnemalas (Salamence) @ Choice specs

-Draco meteor

Salamence is my special sweeper and its choiced. Draco meteor is the main attack and the rest is for coverage.

I know the nicknames suck (Spelled backwards). I really need a new starter but who. Any help would be appreciated!

Thunder Punch on ChoiceMeta is suicide if your stuck on T-Punch and run into Dugtrio. And why are you mentioning Boltbeam on a choiced 'mon?
 
I might use AgilityGross over this one since one Agility gives you more speed then CS and you can switch moves. On Weavile I would suggest using Focus Sash since it alows you to get a SD in and he's realy weak so LO wouldn't do him many favors
 
"Houndoom dude" i dont understand anything about what u said i mean i could be locked into earthquake and run into salamence all choiced pokes happen to face these problems.
As for light sabre, if i use agility what move should i get rid of? I prefer LO over focus sash becoz of SR or spikes (After forry is gone) and sandstorm
 
Magnezone will also trap you, and can switch in on anything not named Earthquake. That doesn't mean Metagross is useless with choice though, and about Dugtrio, it isn't going to switch in anytime against Metagross unless something just fainted, and then Metagross has kind of done its job anyway.

But considering you're looking for a new lead, why just not use your Metagross? It beats other Gyarados', Weavile, Gengar, Salamence and any Wi-Fi lead really. You may also try out Jolly nature for the extra speed who'll let you outrun Azelf and friends. Squeezing in Explosion in favor of Earthquake or ThunderPunch would let you handle those pesky water types who'll wall you otherwise, and no, a non-STAB, non-boosted ThunderPunch won't threat water types other then Gyarados and Starmie.

Personally I don't see why you'd run bulky Gyarados. You already got a lot of options against Fighting types in Forretress, Dusknoir and Salamence. You could try out LO-Dos, who'll easily rip unprepared teams apart and is a great investment in a offensive team. It would also loosen up a lot of pokémon, and it will allow Metagross and SpecsMence to clean up a lot lategame.

Oh, definitely go with ThunderPunch on Dusknoir. Otherwise enemy LO-Dos will run all over you, and considering you can't play around it nor revengekill it you don't want that to happend..
 
Thx rag, u were really helpful i will use metagross as my lead but i'm thinking of dropping gyarados since i already have lots of physiscal sweeper and put a special sweeper in there coz once mence is gone i have problems with gliscor, skarm and zong. Any suggestions about special sweeper! Oh and i would love something creative =)
 
Houndoom with HP ice might work for another Special sweeper. Give it Choice Scarf and it rocks. Flamethrower to hit Scarm and Zong and HP to deal with Gliscor. As for my earlier addvice on AgilityGross, you might replace ice or thunder punch and put agility there. Mine has the set MM/EQ/bullet punch/agility but I'm planing on bringing Thunder Punxh to help with Water types. It depends on what your team needs.
 
Lightsabre, HP Fight over Ice on Houndoom unless you want to be set up bait for T-Tar. And a Houndoom team has been done before. By me. And Overheat/Fire Blast/Flame Thrower hits Gliscor harder for his bleh Special defense. Magmortar is an option, it could run most of Infernape's sets, too.
 
If you don't need a lead to perform any specific function for your team, I would suggest an anti lead with scouting capabilities like Ambipom or Infernape (Fake out plus U-turn equals enemy frustration). This way you stay one step ahead of teams that need a lead to perform a specific function. Gyrados isn't the best lead because it's just not fast or fiersome enough. It really doesn't have any tricks up it's sleave or add any support to your team like a good lead should. Plus if it gets switched out, the opponent knows you have a flying type inspiring them to get a stealth rock against you sooner and in some cases whirlwind stall.
