Wii Virtual Console Guide

Not necessarily news about what will be released on virtual console, but news to what won't. With the release of Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts, Rare will be releasing the original Banjo-Kazooie over Xbox live arcade!

So, I guess we can rule out it ever being on virtual console, but the fact this game is going to be out is amazing enough.
 
vc-reviews says this monday the American Virtual Console will get Book of the Y's I & II (turbografx-16), Samurai Shodown II (neo geo) and... Mega Man (nes) :).

I really recommend the last two, Samurai Shodown II is one of the best 2-D fighters ever, and the second needs no introduction. I haven't played book of the Y's, so i don't know.
 
yeah buying today, cant wait to play it again
also noticed that super mario bros: the lost levels was rereleased on europe vc after it's temporary appearance for the first "hanabi festival"
 
you get everything first it's about time eh :/

Just finished moleville and got the third star piece earlier today, and picked up geno, but haven't started boosters section yet!

it's the hannabi festival where europe gets import games. since we never got that masterpiece game, its only fair that we get it first the second time around
 
Yeah this is the first decent hanabi festival tbh, we also got smb: the lost levels which was previously only available temporarily. (edit actually one of the first hanabis gave us sin and punishment which ive heard is good, though I've never played it)
Here's hoping for earthbound in hanabi festival 4 xD
 
Damn I'm glad we finally got it. Too bad I have move some data around to get it, but I was utterly surprised to see it in the corner of my eye on the Wii menu.
 
Fucking finally. But I'm too busy with Tales of Vesperia to play it. I did download it though.

OMG!!! I have always wanted to play super mario RPG!! I gotta get it ASAP!

Steelicks won't have to buy it to review it. Just give it a 10/10 right now!

BTW, I have noticed they have Shining Force, which is one of my all-time favorite game, and one of the best RPG's at its time. Any word if Shining Force 2 will be on the Wii console anytime soon?
 
If you want to play any of the sonic games on the VC, I suggest you buy the sonic mega collection. It is only 20$ and has all the sonic games on the VC plus 10 more.
 
Today we got Mega Man 2 on the USA virtual console for those interested :) it's an amazing game that Europe/Aus users have been enjoying for quite a while and now we can get it. I love this game and you should too!
