just reaffirming that i really really hate this reaction and its the exact reason i was hesitant to bring this up at all because my head and heart tell me tommy is town but the words in my role pm tell me he is scum

the best way to figure out whats going on is by reading through the thread and forming your own opinions on what you see. anyone recounting it back to you will have some sort of bias that will by proxy color your perception of events. the best places to start looking though are the end of day 1 and then whats been posted so far today

sorry if this is harsh towards you bliz i dont wanna be mean here but ive definitely seen scum fall off the face of the earth, reappear with the impression that theyre going to play, and then fall off the other face of the earth. town can do this too and it is equally as bad (this is literally why chickening got voted yesterday lol) because we need town to follow through on solving so please get back to this and if youre not able to for whatever reason, communicate that with us because people will think youre intentionally shirking the game
i need to bring this up - in the neighbor chat tommy also asked me if i was "looking for a lost wolf" while i was accusing him. i know ive played with that role before but i dont remember exactly what it is and tommy completed dropped it when i said i didnt know what he was talking about. flandrs didnt comment on it either

flandrs popped into the neighbor chat just now to scold me for talking about it here. specifically tommy suggested that i dont bring it up for now and flandrs doesnt like that i went against the plan that "we all" agree to even though flandrs didnt even weigh in on it and this isnt really how it happened. he did read thread because he references my posts about not liking genisu but i guess he would rather comment on it in private than in thread

I think it's entirely possible that this was mostly town-directed, so I don't want to read too strongly into it (pretty common outcome D1 ime). At the same time though with such low vote numbers going into EOD it's entirely possible that scum were able to move the wagon in a direction they liked. Psy getting on and being like "I was only voting genisu for bait" coupled with HydrogenHydreigon appearing out of the aether just to vote chickening without saying anything feels pretty sus to me. It seems possible to me that genisu is scum and paired with one of HH or Psy. Not crazy enough to think that I've caught 60% of the scumteam from a single D1 interaction though lol, more like there's a slightly higher than average chance that genisu is scum, and a bit better than slightly higher than average for HH because I still get scum vibes off it even if genisu is town lol. Despite me not liking that one move from Psy though I actually think they're a lot more likely to be town, both bc they seem like they're scumhunting pretty actively and bc the Tommy thing would be a bizarre gambit to pull out if they were scum. The genisu vote thing is perfectly plausible for town to do and it makes sense, it's just in the context of the other stuff it raised my eyebrow a bit.

maybe i am a moron because if tommy is town then i made a huge mistake, ruined the game for myself my friend and my entire team, and embarrassed myself completely so i dont even really wanna be doing this

I don't think you're stupid but I'm pretty sure you're wrong. I feel like Tommy is playing weird but honestly everyone is playing weird so I don't think it's really indicative of anything. I feel like your calls are really town tho

Gonna guess that Tommy's opinion is that Tommy is town. Flandrs is a trickier case, I'm really not sure what they think! But if you held a gun to my head, I think calling Psy a moron and then storming off may indicate that they find Psy's reasoning slightly dubious.
Seriously though, of course we can wait for Tommy's defense but it just seems like a he said/she said thing. If someone can outline a reasonable explanation for them both telling the truth then shrug but rn I trust Psy over Tommy
Actually I kinda like Flanders reaction to that cuz it feels like they're trying to solve things internally? but also could be buying time to ask for advice from scum team.
I mean they were trying to solve it internally (convincing Psy not to out the hood) which I think is NAI at best. If you're in a hood with two people, where one is contradicting your private info and both are trying to convince you to keep it under wraps, that needs to get outed at SOME point in the same day for sure.
In the event that this does all get cleared up and it turns out the hood is all good, it doesn't seem like that big of a loss. The big benefit of a town hood is coordinating actions without scum seeing, and the odds of being able to do anything that useful coordinating on N2 are low.

flandrs did not say anything about me not outing the neighborhood to my recollection ftr. he became pretty passive after i explained my conflict with tommy and tommy himself was completely dumbfounded
