if i was targetting an player i was being redirected off, and also targetting them made me empowered, would the empower then empower me through the redirect or would the redirect take me off the empower buff

If the condition upon which you gain the empowerment is successfully targeting the specific player you would target under usual circumstances, you would be impacted by abilities that redirect you.

tommy made a neighbor chat with me and flandrs, and entered it declaring he targeted the two of us because he saw us as the towniest two players. except tommy didnt target us because if he targeted me with a neighborizer, bliz wouldve been in it instead. we have both done our due diligence in asking celever if this is some kind of error. i have tried to figure out anything that couldve caused this, but no dice

the bottom line is that tommy was caught in a lie, and theres no reason for him to lie if hes town
