NOC WikiMafia 2 Game Thread [Day 6]

I feel like saying that my read is just POE is kind of exactly the opposite of what I've been saying, which is that I don't have a lot of a townreads and therefore can't really POE

But I am typing up more details to answer DBD's request
 
im curious what your opinions on tommy and flandrs are then! i kinda just assumed you were seeing the nieghborhood as town and that was why they were "there's a chance of it being Tommy or Flandrs but I don't totally see those worlds at the moment"

that was half snappy remark and half genuine

In the situation that you are a scum player and my reads are correct, your thread mission will be to downplay my reads and imply that there is no weight to them. And in my view reducing my reads to "not the neighborhood" is serving to delegitimize them and imply that they are misguided

I do think it is a good point that it's weird no one in the neighborhood has died yet, like the neighborhood hasn't done anything particularly interesting but it is true that I would think a mafia team wouldn't like a groupchat of 3 townies existing without their oversight

And I do see some of the scum Tommy vibes and I had some of the same feelings

To be frank: either the hood has scum, or the hood collectively has had shit reads to the point that scum has thought they're all better off alive. Like I think it would take the hood collectively having a very confident town read on scum, or having their scum reads be overwhelmingly town, to justify. The much simpler explanation is just that the hood has scum in it. If none of those things is true then leaving it alive would just be a bizarre decision from a scum team that is at least good enough to get to mylo. If you look at the votals the hood has mostly been on town wagons every day besides bd, which is further evidence of the "hood reads bad" theory.

Tommy popping in to do this is like 80% of his posts this game lol

More than anything I'm just kind of annoyed and suspicious that, after several mislynches driven by the hood, and my scum reads being largely ignored, the motion from Tommy has been "let's continue pushing the exact same reads we've been pushing for days." That obviously is not working and I think actual town playing at Tommy's level would make any kind of effort to reevaluate instead of doubling down.

AirC I really got bad vibes from him today, putting a vote on des and bringing her closer to hammer while simultaneously being worried about a quickhammer didn't make sense, and also the fact that a des scumread is a departure from what he was saying yesterday. I will give him credit for correctly pushing the townread of genisu but that didn't really get anywhere. Otherwise he gives me strong vibes that he's been around and acting like he's contributing while not actually giving much content to the thread


a fairy's Tommy scumread and dismissing Tommy's influence on the bluedoom vote (the only successful vote of this game) gives me bad vibes. I'm having a hard time putting the rest of this reads into words to be honest, it's just the way fairy is interacting with the thread in general is giving me scum vibes. I'm not sure what day I read this on but when she came online near deadline and kind of made a show about complaining that not enough people were on for the deadline, it rubbed me the wrong way

I mean your reads haven't been that good either, you pushed saber for like 2 (maybe 3) days if I remember right

Saying that ignore the fact that I've been conflicted about des for the whole game and I've proposed voting her multiple times. Obviously quick hammer isn't an issue since we're still here too

Yeah but "conflicted" turned into "L-2" very quickly

And you were actively talking about hammer at the same time as you cast your vote, were you intending that des would be hammered quickly today?
