Wow.. I was checking out some of the stuff I posted back in '05

I used to be a godawful poster and user in general. I'd say around 80% of my post preceding my re-namechange back to Noobster were pretty crappy (besides maybe some of the Pokemon forum ones since you can't go too wrong there). I like to think that I've shaped up even though I don't come by here nearly as often as I used to. That might change when Competitor comes out though.
 
I arrived here knowing some basic principles about posting, lol, I received an infraction for making fun of some (BAN ME PLEASE) that I really don't rememeber, but w/e. When I feel like I'm about to make a crappy post, I go to Firebot and hide it there -.-
 
I came here a while ago but my posting sucked then. I didn't spell properly, I'd use IM lingo (which I didn't even use on AIM, so I'm not really sure why I used it on a forum), and try to make stupid one-liners which were funny every once in a while but didn't really contribute much.

I never really was a huge poster here but I still check to see what goes on a lot and it's been the same since I joined... Just observing has definitely improved my quality of posting. Becoming more mature has helped also, thats a given with anybody.
 
When I joined Smogon Forums almost 2 years ago, I made quite terrible posts that I can still remember to this day.Well it was my first time on a serious forum. I quitted postwhoring after I reached 500(which I saw as a milestone >_>) and basically lurked for a year or so.
That had a major impact on the quality of my posts, I'd say.
 
I had horrible nettiquete, didn't had a sarcasm detector and was kind of :smilespam: guy. I think I am ok nowadays. I never got an infraction, a bold custom title or angry PM from a moderator but that is nothing more than my obligation as a member.

I must have been a noob in the beginning pretty much, but I tried to be intelligent on Smogon from day 1 (Pidgeot500 needs a ty for that.)

most of my nubbing was tcod/serebii

It was "im brazilian sry ;/" and I still grin when I remember that.

I only joined earlier this year, so I don't have anything like that :p I guess back when I was new to online stuff in general (2003; I was 13 that summer) I was pretty lame and stupid. But weren't we all stupid when we were new to online stuff?
