- This is a XY DNU tournament. The fomat is as follows:
- All Pokemon tagged above (DUU) in the XY teambuilder are banned (if you scroll down you'll see which ones are legal)
- All Pokemon ranked on the XY DOU viability rankings are banned (Deoxys-A, Deoxys-S, Gothitelle, Kingdra, Landorus-I, Swampertite, Manectrite)
- Latiasite is also banned for competitive reasons
- We can run two different formats and I'll leave it up to the players which one they want to play:
- Regular single elimination
- A 'battle phase' of 2 weeks where you can play as many opponents as you want (though 1 bo3 against every opponent at most). After the battle phase the 4 players with the most set wins move on to the semifinals. The upside for this format is that it increases amounts of games without extending the tournaments' running time, with the caveat that players have to take more initiative to organize games themselves. If we get enough signups we'll split it in two pools.
- Matches will be best-of-3. Players may switch teams in between matches and games of the same set.
- Replays must be saved and posted in the thread. Any match win reported without replays will not be counted. This is your only warning.
