Your Top 10 Favourite Video Games of All Time

Why the heck aren't people doing Racthet and Clank? THey're easily the best shooter I've ever played.

Yeah, the best platformer anyways. I prefer the second and third, all the others can go explode for all I care. I guess the game's just underrated, or people just forget.

I think Mario Kart and Super Smash Brothers deserve mentions and I think Zelda Ocarina of Time should be higher.

Best game ever IMO.

My top ten would be.

1.Final Fantasy 7
2.Fire Emblem 3
3.Advance wars
4.Lunar Eternal blue
5.Fables
6.Pokemon
7.Halo
8.Kingdom Hearts
9.Final Fanstasy Tatics
10.Harvestmoon

1. Pokemon (all of them)
2. The world ends with you
3. World f Warcraft (BC and WotLK too of course)
4. Ace Attorney (all of them)
5. Time hollow
6. Warcraft III Reign of Chaos/Frozen throne
7. Fable
8. Zelda (almost all of them)
9. Summon night (GBA version)
10. Some other games that I simply love and I can't put one on the tenth place and forget bout others)

1. FF7
2. The Legend of Zelda: OoT
3. Chrono Trigger
4. Super Mario All Stars
5. Pokemon Blue
6. Metal Gear Solid
7. Super Mario 64
8. Pokemon Silver
9. Kingdom Hearts
10. Pokemon Diamond

1.Halo 3- Even though there are other good games on the 360 this has to be my favorite, because every time I come back to play it online, its still as fun as when I first got it,actually it is the reason i got a 360.
2.Resident Evil 4- BEST story line for a horror game, I beat it 6 times on the ps2 and 2 times on the Wii, yeah its so good I got it twice.
3.Grand Theft Auto 4- even though I think GTA:Vice City had a better story line and better main character I think Rockstar really put a lot of work on GTA 4 to make the game better then the ones before it in every cateogory, especially graphics.
4.Pokemon D&P- only reason why I dont pick any other pokemon game is because this is the most recent update with the online capability, which is basically an update(new pokemon, supposedly better graphics, etc.),nothing revolutionary other then the online though.
5.Left 4 Dead- This game brings teamwork to another level, especially online.
6. Gears of War- This game not only launched a great franchise but its online feature actually worked better than its successor which is also great apart from its online troubles.
7.Sonic the Hedghog- It was my first video game and it actually competed with Mario back in the day so you know it had to and still is good.Dissapointed with what happened ever since though.
8.Super Mario Galaxy-Best plataformer I own, and it has some of the most beautiful graphics I have seen on the Wii so far.
9.Fallout 3- great RPG and Shooter combination, although I dont play many RPGs I can just tell this is one of the best out there from what I have played so far.
10.Super Smash Brothers Brawl- although great game at first I eventually got bored of doing the same thing over and over again with the difference beign characters and stages. If the Online wasnt bad then it might have a better replay value but this is certainly a great game when you have somebody to play with on local multiplayer.

Well, considering Jak and Daxter came out first, I would think they deserve more respect as a platformer. Ratchet & Clank was always more of a shooter anyways.

Alright, hang in there with me. I believe RPG's are the best thing about games. Story lines do a lot for a game, plus multiple characters, so I have a big bias concerning RPG's.

10. Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars - The fact you get to play Mario in RPG style is just fucking amazing. I love leveling systems, and this game doesn't dissapoint. Geno is awsome btw.

9, Final Fantasy IX - The whole midevil era was just so awsome. I liked Steiner, everyone loves Vivi. I liked the battling system especially.

8. Mario 64 - This game delivered, it is easily one of the best Nintendo games of all time and for a good reason. Like all Mario games, it's always nice to save Peach.

7. Chrono Trigger - I fell in love with this game the moment I started it. I loved the characters, the whole going back in time and going forward and what not was just so fun.

6. Final Fantasy IV - One of the best and oldest rpg's ever, it was easily a breathtaking game. It was one of the first Final Fantasy games to have a real plot. Cecil was just awsome.

5. Kingdom Hearts - Amazing storyline, just took your breath away. Noone could have ever imagined Disney could make a game as good as this. Combined with Final Fantasy, it sure didn't dissapoint.

4. Final Fantasy VII - Great characters, amazing villian. I can't really say anything bad about this game. It was pretty close to perfect. he story sucks you in.

3. Zelda: Ocarina of Time - What is there not to like, the game blows your mind. Playing this growing up as a Zelda fan, noone could of imagined how good this game would be. It is one of the best games in the world.

2. Xenogears - FUCKING AWSOME. You get to be a robot, amazing cast, amazing story. Everything a RPG fanatic could want and more. Not much to say.

1. Final Fantasy X - My first final fantasy RPG, probably one of the best story lines in history. The ending can make many of you cry. Very in depth, the story alone makes it worth it, gave the battle system something unique.

Ooh, now this is a bitch... Bar 1 and 2, this is in no paticular order...

10. Chrono Trigger
9. Pokemon TCG
8. Super Mario Kart
7. Super Smash Brothers Brawl
6. Super Mario World
5. Donkey Kong Country
4. Soul Reaver
3. Tekken 3
2. Final Fantasy IX
1. Secret of Mana

Some of those are on there because I was running out of ideas, so rushed.

My list is as follows:
10. Excite Bike: Fully customizable tracks on the NES?! Are you serious!? Serious as a heart attack, baby. This game provided players with the tools needed to create the game the way they saw fit. How they were able to do that on such a primitive console is beyond me...

9. Donkey Kong: Of course Donky Kong's on the list, it's the classic arcade game! The onlything that Donkey Kong has that other games lacked is that feeling of knowing that this will be the hardest game you have ever played. Look up the quote from the dude with the highest score, even he respects it.

8. Super Smash Bros: Melee: The best game in the franchise, to date. It took what Soul Caliber and Mortal Kombat did, combined it with Nintendo's unique flavor, and dropped this gem into our hands.

7. Guitar Hero: Guitar Hero ushered in an entirely new realm of gaming. The simulated guitar notes and breakthrough controller actually imitate playing guitar. In fact, we use GH in our Basics of guitar class in high school to get used to note progression and finger dexterity.

6. Tecmo Bowl: Sports games? Am I crazy? No. Techmo Bowl was easy to learn (4 plays per team), hard to master, and had stats on every team on the list. It might seem primitive, but play it a bit, you'll be hooked.

7. Final Fantasy: Christal Chronicles: quite possibly the funnest multiplayer game I've ever owned. It took stunning artwork, strategic execution, and tons of mini-storylines and packed it into one little disc.Frankly, it's the one game I think of when I hear Final Fantasy.

6. Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean: It's not often that a card game gets me all hot and uncomfortable, but BA did just that. Just one look at the graphic will leave you breathless. It's a visual masterpiece, and the storyline is top-notch.

5. Tactics Ogre: the Knights of Lodis: An amazing turn-based RPG. It did everythingthat FFTA tried to do, but with more flair and style than Square Enix could copy. If you've never played this game, GET IT.

4. Zelda: Oricana of Time: the one game that makes me want to keep my N64 working. What this game did for Nintendo is beyond beliefe. It was years ahead of it's time, and took us all by storm. Link hasn't been the same since.

3. Sonic the Hedgehog: Although a dead franchise, Sonic was to Sega as Mario was to NES. Fast-pased action and difficult tasks (can you say you got all the chaos emeralds?) allows this one to place high on my list. It's unfortunate he couldn't make the leap to 3D Mario did...

2. Pokemon: quite possibly the most in-depth RPG ever created. The level of costimization reigns supreme among RPG's.

1. Super Mario: this is the epitome of gaming. True, the graphic leave more to be desired, but the actual fundamentals of this game are what make it the best. There's so many hidden things in this game it's unreal, and will always stand as one of the best games ever created. Hell, I'd go as far as saying Nintendo's rise to superstardom came from this game.

I am serious when I say this: If you want to include another game on your list, you got to try Persona 4. I have played it for about 10 hours so far, and I would already put it in my top 10 RPG's of all time! It is that damn impressive!

I can probably make several top 10 lists, but I will make one really quick off the top of my head for RPG's, since I love that genre so much.

10) Final Fantasy XII
9) Persona 4
8) Shining Force
7) Fire Emblem
6) Pokemon Red/Blue
5) Final Fantasy VII
4) Final Fantasy Tactics
3) Shining Force II
2) Pokemon Gold/Silver
1) Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

I wanted to put Ocarina of Time, Chrono Trigger, and Fallout 3 on this personal list, but I haven't played those yet :(

Have you ever tried western RPGs? I note that most of your list is made up of stuff that came out of Japan. You're really missing out if you're an RPG fan and haven't played a game like Baldur's Gate 2 or Morrowind.

1) Team Fortress 2 - I've spent over 300 hours playing this since I got it in May (I think I got it then). It never fails to impress, because of new maps and such.

2) Pokemon Diamond/Sapphire - Together, I've played them for over a 1000 hours. Favourite DS/GBA games by a mileee.

3) Goldeneye Source - Awesome FPS, HL2 mod.

4) No More Heroes - I only got this for Christmas and already love it. The control system, imo, is one of the best on the Wii.

5) Animal Crossing: Lets go to the City! - Likewise, I only got this for Christmas, but it impressed me. I've never played the Gamecube/DS version, so it was an entirely new exp for me.

6) Crysis - I played the demo yesterday, after I'd bought it and while it was downloading. Earthquake introduced me to it, and it was awesomeee.

7) Guitar Hero (all of them) - Guitar. Hero. Is. Awesome.

8) Mario Kart Wii - I haven't actually got this, but my little cousins got a Wii for Christmas, and got this game with it. They let me borrow it a couple of times already. Its awesome.

Can't think of anything else.

I've played a few like Neverwinter Knights and what not.

To be honest, I am just more impressed with Japanese rpgs.
