Hello. This is obviously a NU team. I decided to give NU ladder a try and i must say, its very interesting at the least. Its funny because it kinda hard to use the crappy pokemon and try to be good. And there are OP ones like espeon. But lets keep the intro short cuz no one reads this anyways T-T

BUILDING PROCESS
I wanted to use an underrated fire type, Ninetails. In NU, there are random fire types running around like typlosion, Charizard, Magmotor, etc. I knew I could abuse flashfire. Also, most special attackers have trouble getting through Ninetails above average special defense :D Even though I rarely use NInetails. HE demolishes teams with no scarfers and politoads. I don't know why he isn't used more >.>
ENTER: NINETALES
All teams have a lead so i picked a favorite from UU: Jumpluff! WHY IS HE NU???? He's so fun to use. Sleep powder for annoyance, stun spore for more, and then encore for EVEN more :D! Man, he's just so fun. You have a substitute weakness? Encore their ass off! Have a stallrein problem? ENCORE ITS ASS OFF! But he has a problem on Lum berries..... Overall, i love jumpluff :)
ENTER: JUMPLUFF
In NU, the most OP special attacker, by far, Espeon. 130 s. atk, 110 spe, AND THEN 95 s.def? WTH? It has great speed and special attack and then to add a nice 95 special defense? Walls will have a hard time fighting Espeon.... Also the different sets can cause chaos. Specs, scarf, calm mind, etc. If you make a wrong prediction, your team will take damage. However, I like using a life orb sub set. It makes Skunktank's easier to deal with.

Now I need a revenge killer, a scout, and a sweeper in one and the only NU poke that fits the bill is Primeape! With 100+ attack and 90 speed, all i have to do is slap on a scarf and BOOM! I have a multi- task pokemon. HE can also sweep teams late game. Yay. The only problem i have with him is that he can speed tie with my Primape and that's annoying to lose a speed tie...

I noticed my weakness to primeape and ground types so i added Drifblim. His sub calm mind unburden set looked promising so i added that. But there is a berry glitch so sometimes i can't use my petaya berry and get unburden :(. But when it does workout, Drifblim sweeps quickly and easily since nothing resists Shadow ball + hp fighting.

I then noticed a needed a way to fend off common special sweeprs like charizard, and magmotor, and Typlosion, so i added a special wall i was familiar with: Politoed. YAY! He's so cute :D. The only con i could think of was his lack of recovery so i used a restalk set i saw in Shrang's NU team and it actually works well when i don't get rest on sleep talk. with solid HP and special defense, he takes hits like a beast and he can stall with toxic and rest.

Since Primeape was moved to UU, I decided to find a replacement. I noticed Shiftry had unique typing and stab'd sucker punch + seed bomb AND SD. So far, he hasn't disappointed me yet. No one realizes the power of an SD'd sucker punch. And then i have seed bomb. It's really good against waters like politoad.

Now that slowking was back in NU, I was gonna use him for sure over politoad. He's better in almost every way. Better bulk, better sp.atk. He's way better and i don;t have to be annoyed by rest talk.

Why Jumpluff?
IMO, JUmpluff is one of the best leads ever. With godly speed for NU, and accurate sleep powders and stun spores compared to hypnosis. and then encore, he annoys the opponent to death. When they try to set up? ENCORE! They switch i just sleep powder/ stun spore. U-turn is for scouting. Jumpluff is just a great poke to have. He checks manythings with sleep powder and stun spore, he can just cripple pokes. All jumpluff needs now is baton pass.....

Why Ninetales?
Ninetales is one of the most underrated fire types because of it's low offensive stats but it actually becomes a worthy sweeper after one NP. AFter one NP he reaches 506 s.atk if I'm not mistaken. Thats enough to 2hko non thick fat walrein's. Even if it was thick fat walrein, I have HP rock. Also, after one NP i can 2hko politoad with energy ball. With 100 base s.def, he can also take hits. However, he really shines when taking on hail teams. There aren't any dugtrio's in NU so nothing can trap him.

Ev's: I discovered this NP set on an analysis and the moment i saw it, i knew i was going to use this set. 68 hp just to reach max lefties recovery and 220 speed and special attack becuase i wanted a ballance between the 2.

Why Espeon?
This question for espeon is a given. Really espeon is way OP for NU standards. great speed and special attack and then good special defense? OP is a good word for espeon. He is the most powerful special attacker on my team without any boosts. HIs role? MId-game sweep and/or late game sweep. He does however have a problem with Skunktank. But if i get a sub while the skunk switches in, all i have to do is hit him with 2 hp grounds. However thats easier said than done. I have to play mind games with him. HP ground 1st or i can switch if i fell pussy. 2nd i have to either sub as he sucker punches or he pursuits. If he sucker punches, i win. But i usually use HP ground just because i know they'll predict the sub.

Why Drifblim?
Drifblim is REALLY fun to play with. I usually set up on a sleeping opponent. Set up a sub and then spam calm mind or sub until i use the berry and activate unburden. From there on, i just use the appropriate move. Shadow ball and hp fighting have perfect coverage. SOO i don't need to worry about getting walled. Driblim also provides fighting, normal, and ground resist.

ev's: 144 def and 60 s.def for bulk while 252 s.atk for max damage, and 52 speed so i can out speed many pokes after unburden.
nature: modest for max damage. I might run timid because some scarfers out speed me.

short description since im still testing it out:
I made this set myself because i noticed shiftry had SD and sucker punch. It actually works pretty well. It provides a sleep counter since primaeape is now UU and had vital spirit. I usually get the set up chance on sleeping pokemon and espeon. I can see that seed bomb and sucker punch can't really hit steels but the steel types in NU are limited and after a SD shifty can pretty much own most of them. Its really fun and with this set, i've reached rank 40 :D. I know its not very good BUT i don't have a lot of time to ladder. So far i've only lost twice with this team, so i think its an accomplishment :D
Oh btw, I'm hanging onto Politoad even though slowking is NU because politoad looks WAY cooler and i don't want to be sad when slowking moves back to

Slowking replaces politoad because he is better in every way. Better defenses and typing and dual stab. The reason why i like his typing was because of my old Medicham weakness. Now its gone. I love this guy and i've even tried a curse set but it doesn't work as well.

PolitoEd is the special wall of the team. He also acts as a status absorber and special attacker with a decent special attack stat. Surf for stab and toxic as a filler. Rest talk because PolitoEd has no other recovery move. Slowking however would do this job better but hes in UU so i have to work with politoed. Surf is a good move because it does a lot to more frail pokes. and 95+stab+90 special attack can do a good amount.

He has great attack and if you slap on a scarf, he becomes faster. CC for stab'd damage, u-turn to scout, ice punch for coverage, and stone edge for more coverage.
