1040.. isn't that just ONE WIN?http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/lc-240651070
So this is in Little Cup. The guy has no A-Rank or B-Rank Pokes. His Fennekin has no item. He uses stupid moves against me. Somehow, he was 1040.
Sure, MegaGarde has more Atk that Talonflame, but Brabe Burd can hold an item (Although the 1.3x multiplier from Pixilate remedies this) and can run Adamant. So Hack_Guy pointed out in the chat earlier that Mega Gardevoir has both Double-Edge AND higher attack than Talonflame, prompting me to go ladder with it cuz it seemed hilarios. Some replays for your enjoyment:

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/1v1-240713493 (this one would be funny even if I didn't use Double-Edge MegaGarde lol. dat blastoise tho, must have ALL the passive recovery XD)
WHY WAS I WINNING WITH THIS?!?!?!??!?!?!?
Actually, I think it's two.1040.. isn't that just ONE WIN?
I was never denying that, although Pixilate Double Edge is stronger than Adamant Sharp Beak Brave Bird lolSure, MegaGarde has more Atk that Talonflame, but Brabe Burd can hold an item (Although the 1.3x multiplier from Pixilate remedies this) and can run Adamant.

I seriously don't understand Game Freak's logic in some Dream World Abilities. First, there's the Pokémon who get useless abilities, like Scizor, Tyranitar and lol Delibird and Rotom-F, which are thankfully sparse; and then there are the Pokémon that get Abilities completely unsuited for their Stats, such as Ledian, which has higher SpA than Atk (Though it's still shit), Pyroar, who has shit Atk (Though this is technically not an HA), and Medicham (WHY GAME FREAK, JUST WHY??? Did you just hire an intern with no knowledge whatsoever of Pokémon to assign Dream World Abilities? Did you want to nerf Medicham for the main game? Did you somehow think ANYONE would use Telepathy Medicham when there's Pure Power available or were you just looking to meet a quota (Except it can't be that last one, because in that case you could just give it Huge Power)? /rant).http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-241542401
Ledian with Mach Punch. Yes, yes, I know it gets Iron Fist, but that 35 Attack stat still isn't threatening anyone.
To be fair, Scizor, Tyranitar, and Medicham didn't really need hidden abilities, but I know reasons for at least one of them back in Gen V and another this generation. Tyranitar's hidden ability, in my opinion, existed so that way you can use him on a rain team without changing the weather (it DOES OHKO Ninetails in the Sun while only taking like 50-some damage from Solar Beam). Scizor's hidden ability while not "good" allows you to switch it into Low Kicks or Grass Knots easier and then Mega Evolve.I seriously don't understand Game Freak's logic in some Dream World Abilities. Mach Punch in general on such a Pokemon is a terrible idea, but I'm pretty sure some Pokes back in DPP carried a priority move, even if they were specially-based, to break sashes. Although I don't see how it would get down to that 1 HP in the first place against Ledian.http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-241542401

Shouldn't Trevenant have been Fluttershy? :P
- (L) Um...the Friendship is Magic-themed team has only one actual pony (Keldeo). Seriously, no Rapidash? (Would've helped him, too, with Jirachi and Genesect on the other side.)
Harvest thoShouldn't Trevenant have been Fluttershy? :P
You forgot that MegaZard had Crunch. Also, why the fuck do people use Aguav Berry? Don't they know Sitrus Berry exists? I wish Zarel would remove them from the teambuilder so people stop using it, I see it way more often that I would like to.http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-242140131
Left side:
Not too much silly stuff, aside from Garchomp with Outrage (which isn't a bad move on Garchomp normally, but in a metagame where Klefki is everywhere...)
Right side:
- Regigigas
- Mold Breaker Hawlucha with Aguav Berry getting speed crept by MegaZardX
- The guy preemptively called "gg", thinking his unboosted unburden-less Hawlucha was capable of sweeping a team with a full health Raikou and Metagross still waiting in the back.

They use Aguav Berry because it's the first vaguely useful-looking Item listed in the teambuilder. That's also why you keep seeing Kyogres with Aqua Tail, Avalanche, and Blizzard (and sometimes Brick Break). I suspect we'd see more Air Balloons if it were removed from the teambuilder. You forgot that MegaZard had Crunch. Also, why the fuck do people use Aguav Berry? Don't they know Sitrus Berry exists? Actually, that's not a bad idea, Zarel
Draco Meteor Zekrom used to be a thing :( Now Zekrom only runs Volt Switch specially. Outrage on Kyu-w too used to be a thing for blobs.http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-242455815
Left:
-Two Charizards, and of course, only one was mega.
-The one that did mega was Mega Y and had Dynamic Punch, Fire Spin, Double Team, and Flame Charge.
-Avalanche Primal Kyogre. If you really want to use its Attack stat, go with Earthquake to hit Primal Groudon or something. At least it got some kills.
-Hyper Beam Xerneas. It missed. Twice.
Right:
-Focus Blast Darkrai has its uses, but hitting Zard Y is not one of them. Same goes for Blizzard.
-Draco Meteor Zekrom, which seems like a rather subpar option in general, more so in AG with stuff like Xerneas and Klefki being everywhere. It later used Volt Switch on Groudon.
-Non-mega Rayquaza with Focus Blast, which hits... what exactly? Especially since it also had Earthquake for Steels.
-Normal Kyurem with Shadow Claw and Hyper Voice, holding a Rocky Helmet.
-Kyurem-White with Toxic and Outrage, also managing to take out both of lefty's Charizards with Stone Edge.

Run in fear from... the Red team. Not that the mediocre Unova team would have gotten anywhere. At least his Audino's nickname was accurate.
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-242460292
Ash team (with everything not named Pikachu at least being fully evolved) vs. Red team from the manga. And don't even get me started on the stupid things these guys used.
This is pretty much the thread in a nutshell. That's why I usually don't call out mons (except NFEs without Eviolites), but focus instead on bad sets and items. You want to use Lapras? Go for it. Using physical Lapras with a Red Card? We have a problem.I can understand a lot of the stuff in this thread 'cause it's just people playing with themed teams or teams they like (it is, after all, Anything Goes, and one doesn't have to play to win), but just slapping convenient moves and items onto top-tier threats? C'mon. Love yourself.
I keep forgetting Groudon has no good physical Fire moves. Strangely, everybody loves Scald, but Lava Plume and Discharge (literally same move, different types) don't get the same hype. Ah, whatever.Lava Plume is good on support p-don since it nabs every ko you want (even with a - nature) and has a high burn chance. He probably should have gotten rid of PuP though.
Well, you can get me started:http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-242460292

Well, you can get me started:
- (R) I believe that's Red's squad from Special, judging by the presence of Poliwrath and Gyarados.
- (L) Tauros, Infernape, and all three Kanto starters. Here's what he could've also had (without the mega slot): Talonflame, Goodra (DAMNIT HE RELEASED IT! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?! [/endrant], Hawlucha, Greninja, Noivern, Heracross, Donphan, Swellow, Staraptor, Gliscor, Garchomp, Emboar, Serperior, or Krokodile. And you go with Tauros? (Charizard better be the mega, that's all I'm saying.)
- (L) Venusaur using Solar Beam without sun. I'm hoping at this point he's got a Drought/Chlorophyll thing going with Zard Y, but you kinda need the Drought before you can Chlorophyll.
- (L) Intimidate Tauros. So not only do you use the bull when you have many very good Pokemon to choose from, you don't even do it right.
- (R) Mega Venusaur with EQ and Sleep Powder, which isn't really bad per se...but then it has Giga Drain (good) and Leaf Storm. You're not Serperior, and you also have no Poison STAB.
- (L) Non-mega Charizard with, of course, Fly. Can you at least use Air Slash?
- (R) I'll let Aqua Tail slide on Gyarados. But not Flamethrower and Surf. Also, if Pikachu was running Nasty Plot, it would've won the exchange.
- Um, Gyarados' two attacks to 55% followed by 50.7%. Something was up with Showdown there.
- (L) Blastoise predicts the Venusaur switch-in and then gets a freeze. Somebody's lucky and at least knows type matchups.
- (R) Red wins this one handily, although switching in Gyarados on an EQ when Aerodactyl could've finished it off is questionable.
