Hey, there! I saw your post that 0.5 + its .5 + its .5, etc. will be 1, and I'd like to correct that. It will never be 1. (1/2)+(1/4)+(1/8)+(1/16)+(1/32)+(1/64)+(1/128)+(1/256)+(1/512)+(1/1024)+(1/2048)+(1/4096)+(1/8192)=0.9998779296875. Basically, the # will always approach but never reach 1 - you'd get: 0.99999999... This is known as 'Achilles and the tortoise' & is one of Zeno's paradoxes (Oriolous mentioned it).
