I go into this battle knowing that she is sending out her Cofagrigus first. Normally, I'd send out Zarator, but that Will-O-Wisp will take a large portion of his Crunch out. I will send out Athenodors because S(he) is immune to Shadow Ball, isn't bothered too much by Will-O-Wisp, resists Grass Knot, and won't take too much damage from Psychic.

468.png
VS
563.png
Athenodors used Shadow Ball!!
It's Super Effective!!
Critical Hit!!
Cofagrigus fainted!!
Elite Four Shauntal sent out Chandelure!!
Trainer Jacob withdrew Athenodors and sent out Ranger!!

503.png
VS
609.png
Ok, that critical Shadow Ball was very needed. Now that it's Ranger vs Chandelure, I am very sure that he can OHKO it with a STAB and Expert Belt boosted Surf.

The Foe's Chandelure used Shadow Ball!!
Ranger: 116/188 HP remaining
Ranger's Sp.Def fell!!
Ranger used Surf!!
Its Super Effective!!
Chandelure fainted!!
Elite Four Shauntal sent out Jellicent!!
Trainer Jacob withdrew Ranger and sent out Zarator!!

635.png
VS
593-f.png
Ok, I didn't expect Ranger to be outsped, despite his -Speed nature, but Ranger's +Sp.Def nature possibly saved it. Now that her Jellicent is out, I will have Zarator take care of it. None of Jellicent's attacks even hits Zarator for neutral damage, let alone SE damage. This should be an easy one.

Zarator used Crunch!!
Its Super Effective!!
Jellicent fainted!!
Elite Four Shauntal sent out Golurk!!
Trainer King withdrew Zarator and sent out Athenodors!!

468.png
VS
623.png
I figured that Zarator would OHKO Jellicent, so no worries there. Anyway, I sent in Athenodors out instead of keeping Zarator in for one simple reason: Golurk knows Brick Break. In fact, Golurk can only hit Athenodors with Brick Break and Curse, so one Shadow Ball should be more than enough.

Athenodors used Shadow Ball!!
Its Super Effective!!
Golurk used Curse!!
Golurk fainted!!

VICTORY!!!

MVP this round was Athenodors because of his immunity to her ghosts' main stab and because it knew Shadow Ball.

Ok, I know that Scrafty is coming out first. It has Fighting, Posion, and Dark coverage. I have just one pokemon that resists 2/3's of that coverage: Ullar.

34.png
Vs
560.png

Ullar used Poison Jab!!
Scrafty used Sand Attack!!
Ullars Accuracy fell!!

34.png
Vs
560.png
That Sand Attack was rather sad, but Poison Jab did just slightly over 50%, so unless I miss, Scrafty is going down now.

Ullar used Poison Jab!!
Scrafty fainted!!
Elite Four Grimsley sent out Krookodile!!
Trainer Jacob withdrew Ullar and sent out Athenodors!!

468.png
Vs
553.png
Luckily, Krookodile has no rock attacks. Its Foul Play is pretty useless as Athenodors has 70atk. EQ is just as useless. This leaves STAB Crunch and unSTABbed Dragon Claw. I do not believe that Aura Sphere can OHKO without a Crit, but unless Crunch gets a Def Drop and Krookodile is faster (Likely so), Athenodors should be more than bulky enough.

Krookodile used Foul Play!!
Athenodors: 150/171 Health remaining
Athenodors used Aura Sphere!!
Its Super Effective!!
Critical Hit!!
Krookodile fainted!!
Elite Four Grimsley sent out Liepard!!

468.png
Vs
510.png

Yep, Scope Lens on a HAX machine like Athenodors is OP!! I am keeping him in because Fake Out will do minimal damage and Aura Sphere will most likely OHKO without a Crit. It can't even use Attract because because Athenodors is Female as well!!

(Skips Fake Out and Flinch Turn) Athenodors has 138/171 Health now.

Liepard used Night Slash!!
Athenodors: 104/171 Health remaining
Athenodors used Aura Sphere!!
Its Super Effective!!
Liepard Fainted!!
Elite Four Grimsley sent out Bisharp!!

468.png
Vs
625.png
I decided to keep Athenodors in because I was going to heal him and test the waters of about how much damage Night Slash (Its most threatening move).

Needless to say, Athenodors outspeeds and OHKO's with Aura Sphere. Looks like I wasted a Hyper Potion.

VICTORY!!
MVP this round goes to Athenodors again because of his ability to OHKO everything with or without HAX.

Normally, Zarator would be perfect for this challenge. However, Reuniclus's Focus Blast and Sigilyph's Ice Beam mean that Zarator won't be battling as much as I'd like. Instead, Ranger will Take on Reuniclus and SubwayJ will take Sigilyph.

503.png
VS
579.png
Ranger used Megahorn!!
Its Super Effective!!
Reuniclus Fainted!!
Elite Four Caitlin sent out Gothitelle!!
Trainer Jacob withdrew Ranger and sent out Zarator!!

635.png
Vs
576.png
Before I let Zarator OHKO Gothitelle, let me tell you that hindsight is a ****. I thought about what would have happened if Megahorn missed and realized that Reuniclus had Thunder. That would have been devastating.

Needless to say, Crunch OHKO'd, and she sent out her Ice Beam using Sigilyph.

181.png
Vs
561.png
Ok, SubwayJ should be able to survive a Psychic and OHKO with Thunderbolt.

Psychic hit and lowered his Sp.Def and Thunderbolt OHKO'd.

635.png
Vs
518.png
Let's see: Two unSTABbed and resisted attacks, Reflect, and Psychic.....yea, not a chance.
Crunch OHKO's.

VICTORY!!
MVP is Zarator for his clean KOs

503.png
VS
538.png
Really, all that happened was Surf ~ Stone Miss lived up to its name ~ Surf KO'd. I am getting tired, so no more fancy stuff.
34.png
VS
539.png

Poison Jab sent it to Sturdy and Poisoned. Retaliate hit hard, but Ullar survived as Poison took its toll.

34.png
VS
534.png
Healed Ullar as Retaliate hit like a truck. I healed him a second time. Earth Power 2KO'd and Grass Knot did crap damage.

34.png
VS
620.png
Jump Kick Missed and Poison Jab OHKO'd it.
VICTORY!!
MVP goes to Ullar for decimating the opposition!!

I am saving right here because I am very tired. Tomorrow will be the battle vs the leaders of Team Plasma!!

Another update. My team is really underlevelled I can tell you that much

-Began the long process of grinding Rassberry the Shellder to become a useful member of the team.
-After having him learn Aurora Beam, I evolved Rassberry into Cloyster
-During grinding I caught Mustacha the Venonat
-Kept on grinding. Eventually he got to arond 33, upon which I used him to finish off the rest of the trainers in the Saffron Gym.
-Switched Rassberry with Baloo for the lead spot. Baloo easily won the battle, and badge number 6 was ours.
-FINALLY evolved Hokus into Alakazam
-Returned to Cinnabar Island and went through the Pokemon Mansion, killing the first Koffing I saw, found the Secret Key, and left for the Gym
-The trainers were easy, and Rassberry easily soloed all of them, becoming on par with the rest of my team in terms of levels
-Began the battle against Blaine. Rassberry easily took down Growlithe and Pontya... only to be OHKO'd from Rapidashes Fire Blast!! Why cant I just have a fucking water-type on my team????
-Sent out Baloo, who defeated Rapidash relativly easily, as well as using up all of Blaine's Potions
-Almost lost Baloo to Arcanine (Level 47, WTF???), but thanks to some smart item using and a lucky hax (his Fire Blast missed turning the 3HKO into a 4HKO on Baloo), I took home another badge... but at a great great cost.
-Ignored Bill's request to go to One Island, and set out to Seafoam Islands.
-Captured a Tentacool along the way (woopy).
-Saved somewhere along Route 20

pkfrlg003.png

Chobani the Quiet Venasaur (M)
Level 41
Ability: Overgrow
Moves: Strength, Razor Leaf, Sleep Powder, Leech Seed
Opinion: He really isnt seeing much usage right now, so he is pretty much the same as last time (except I finally got rid of Tackle for Strength). His usefullness is getting limited, though hopefully he can still help against Giovanni and Bruno.

pkfrlg051.png

Gotlegs? the Serious Dugtrio (M)
Level 40
Ability: Sand Veil
Moves: Cut, Rock Slide, Slash, Dig
Opinion: Another falling star, he just really hasnt done a whole hell of a lot recently. He is reliable enough, but idk how much use he will see even in the Elite 4. Once he gets Earthquake he will be better. He'll stay as his speed helps a lot. The only reason I didn't use him in the battle against Blaine was because I couldnt safely switch him in, and even when I could he couldnt afford to take Arcanine's Intimidate.

pkfrlg065.png

Hokus the Hardy Alakazam (M)
Level 41
Ability: Inner Focus
Moves: Reflect, Recover, Psybeam, Psychic
Opinion: Evolution finally came, but he still hasnt seen much action. He'll be great against Agatha in the E4, and a good failsafe against Lance. Overall though, he just hasnt been getting much mileage like he used to.

pkfrlg143.png

Baloo the Brave Snorlax (M)
Level 43
Ability: Immunity
Moves: Body Slam, Surf, Brick Break, Shadow Ball
Opinion: The MVP of the team. He saved my ass against Blaine, and soloed Sabrina. He has all the moves and all the bulk needed to shine, and that is exactly what he does. There are no words to describe how pleased I am with this guy.

pkfrlg026.png

Samus the Modest Raichu (F)
Level 40
Abiltiy: Static
Moves: Thunderbolt, Strength, Brick Break, Double Team
Opinion: The LVP of the team, namely because she hasn't done anything at all since she joined. She is really fun to use, she just isnt all that good. Her time will come in the E4 however, when I use her to take on Loreli and my Rival.

Lapdance the Mild Lapras (F)
Levels 25-27
Final Words: A great Pokemon who instantly pulled her wieght. I wish I could have done better, farewell my friend.

pkfrlg060.png

Heretakeit the Relaxed Poliwag (F)
Levels 19-23
Final Words: I really should put a picture of Jynx here, because that is what died, not his unfortunate Pokemon. I never liked her (as evidence by the name), but oh well, good bye.

pkfrlg134.png

Layla the Quirky Vaporeon (F)
Levels 25-27
Final Words: The exact same case as Lapdance. She was a Pokemon full of unrealized potential. I am sorry I failed you, take care my dear friend.

pkfrlg091.png

Rassberry the Hasty Cloyster (M)
Level 19-40
Final Words: Originally disliked, he grew to be a great member to have in our short time together. He did great against Blaine and was my final check to Lance that I had. I am sorry I failed you, good bye my friend.

Looking at it, it really isn't too much different than last update. But now the endgame is near, and I really need to fix the final gaps in my teams armor. I have then entire Elite 4 covered except for Lance, who could very well stop my team from getting victory. I need someone who can use Ice moves, and I need them fast. And my only choice now is a Dewgong. This may very well be spelling doom for my game. Wish me luck.

This Nuzlocke hates water types... luckily I can get two seels! One from Cinnabar via trading for a Ponyta, and one in the Seafoam Islands. (As long as I dont get a fucking Psyduck)

Not sure if i'm ALLOWED to make a new thread for my nuzlocke but I suck at them so it might be worth it to post about my rage over a dead pokemon. Still havent decided on Emerald or BW/BW2 or if ill put it on youtube or not

Got back to my Emerald Nuzlocke. New but short update here

Mossdeep City: Went into the gym and defeated all the trainers, but not pleased I left the city to stop at Slateport.
Slatport City: Stopped by at the Vitamin Guru and bought 5 Calciums and 5 Carbos. Gave them all to Margarita. I also used a Rare Candy on Margarita and Kearra. Flew back to Mossdeep City.
Mossdeep City: Traversed the gym and found myself staring down Liza&Tate, probably the hardest gym battle in the Nuzlocke.
Mossdeep City: After a tough battle, I defeated Tate&Liza with no casualties, and escaped with the my Seventh Badge

emesprani271.gif

Margarita the Lombre (F)
Level: 43
Nature: Rash
Ability: Swift Swim
Moves: Surf, Ice Beam, Giga Drain, Fake Out
Opinion: Preformed remarkably against Tate&Liza. She is a real contender for MVP, especially once I can evolve her. I just need her to survive against Maxie and Tabitha...

emesprani286.gif

Toadette the Breloom (F)
Level: 40
Nature: Relaxed
Ability: Effect Spore
Moves: Mach Punch, Sky Uppercut, Headbutt, Leech Seed
Opinion: Did nothing this chapter. Once I defeat Maxie and Tabitha she will probably get more use.

emesprani310.gif

Kearra the Manectric (F)
Level: 43
Nature: Rash
Ability: Static
Moves: Thunderbolt, Quick Attack, Bite, Thunder Wave
Opinion: Just like Margarita, she is a real contender for MVP, especially with her performance against Tate&Liza. She will be of great use in the future.

The team is the same as last chapter, but now I am on the threshold of one of the toughest battles in the game. Maxie and Tabitha could easily take one member of my team each, and I cant afford that now. It really is all coming down to this next battle. I hope I can make it.

I haven't been posting here for awhile, mostly because I've been sick...and writing chapters takes awhile...I've progressed far along the game by now, but my chapter writing is lacking. Maybe I should just stop playing and catch up on my chapters. But anyways, this isn't much, but here's chapter 2.

Strolling through Route 1 merrily with Caim (Who still dislikes me, but we put up a business-like relationship, mainly he leaves me alone and vice versa.) I happened to encounter my first wild Pokemon. It was a tiny rustle in the grass, but before I knew it, a Rattata jumped viciously at me! Surprised, I flinched, but was even more surprised when I saw Caim shoot embers at it! Not only did Caim learn ember, but we had food! (Uhh…I wonder if it’s legal to eat fried Rattata?) Well, anyways, Caim and I definitely developed a better relationship after that.
So, as we continued on, I met a Pokemart employee. Like all the other advertisements I usually see on TV he was offering me a free sample of a potion followed by persuasive words to visit his shop. Nodding and smiling, I took the potion and left.
Arriving in Viridian city soon enough, I made a quick stop by the Pokemon center and decided to traverse the city first. Uhh…First thing I see is an old man lying on the road.
Shouting in a lunatic’s voice, he cried, “This is private property, I forbid you to go through here!”
A woman who appeared to be the old man’s granddaughter approached me, “Sorry, he hasn’t had his coffee yet…”
“And that is causing him to lie down in the middle of the road?” I inquired. Creasing my brow, I sighed. Whatever. Off to get Prof. Oak’s package it is. Entering the Pokemart was a sight to see. All sorts of goodies lined the shelves, including Pokeballs, potions, and a variety of battling items.
A distant voice called me. “Hey! You from Pallet town?” I nodded. “Well here, take this package to the professor there.”
Accepting the package, I headed back to Pallet. I guess my quest is done. Well my dream was short lived...but maybe not!
"Ah, Furais! Back with my package? Well, give it here. Thank you for the help." Opening the package, he revealed a custom Pokeball. "Ah, yes, this is it." Tucking away the Pokeball, he looked at me strangely. "Why, Furais, you seem different already. And your Pokemon!"
I looked at myself and Caim. Strange, there's no difference.
"You and Caim have grown quite close together, haven't you?"
I looked at Caim, and he snarled at me. "Err...I guess so?"
Right then, guess who'd drop by?
"Gramps! I almost forgot! What'd you call me here for?" Gary's voice rang out loud and clear. Not even looking, I could tell he was right beside me.
"Oh, right! Here, I have a task for you two." Walking over to his research table, he beckoned us. "Come, come! Look here." Approaching his table, I saw two high-tech encyclopedias? "This is my latest invention, the Pokedex! It records data on Pokemon you see or catch. Furais and Gary, each of you take one. I'd like you both to fill this Pokedex with information on each Pokemon. See who can fill it up first?" Prof. Oak chuckled.
Gary and I looked at each other. Challenge accepted.
"Here are some tools to start your journey." He handed us each 5 Pokeballs. "And while you're at it, you might like to participate in the gyms they have in each city? Try to become the best at Pokemon training?" He chuckled again.
Challenge accepted. Again.
Prof. Oak sighed. "You know, to get information on all the Pokemon in the world...that was my dream. But as you can see, I'm too old to get the job done...So I want you two to do it for me! Get moving, both of you." And with that note, he left an encouraging smile.
"Alright, Gramps! Leave it me! Furais, I HATE to say this, I really do, but you should really give up. I'll borrow a map from my sis and I'll tell her NOT to give you one. HA!" And with that, he left.
Stopping by Gary's house anyways, Daisy gave me a town map anyways. Hmph...take that, Gary.
And now, my journey truly begins. I'm off to fulfill dreams!

4.png

Caim the Charmander (Male) Lv. 10
Ability: Blaze
Nature: Careful
Moves:
- Scratch
- Growl
- Ember

None.

None.

Also, I'm wondering, is my story too draggy? I feel it's going along at an extremely slow pace, even for a mini-story. I'd like to know if someone thinks I should change it or something...

^I think your chapters are bit too small (as in the focus). Try to make each chapter a bench mark/milestone. Like for the first chapter it could be between starting your journey and defeating your rival on route 22. The next could be from where one left off all the way to getting to the entrance of Mt. Moon. Three would be from Mt. Moon to defeating Misty. And so on and so fourth. Defeating major events are really good places to stop a chapter.

I succeded with my Black Nuzlocke Randomizer!! No one died, somehow.

Anyway, I am going to do a HeartGold Nuzlocke Randomizer based on Scramblers from the Scramble Challenge.

Rules:
1). Faint = Death
2). Cannot catch pokemon that have set locations. They must be fainted ASAP.
3). All Legendaries must be taken out ASAP.
4). Catch the first pokemon I see on any route (Legendaries are not included due to the fact that they must be defeated).
5). Unlimited PokeCenter usage.
6). Shinies must be captured at all times.
7). All pokemon must be nicknamed after Scramblers.
8). Going all the way to Red, if at all possible.

Scramblers who read this, please choose earlier routes before later routes because I can't progress until I know the name of the pokemon that I am to catch.

Will be starting a Yellow Nuzlocke, simple rules.

Fainting=Death and the first pokemon in a new area must be caught, if possible. (I will allow myself to go back to route 1 after receiving pokeballs)

Just a quick update, first pokemon in Viridian Forest, the famed lv 9 Pidgeotto.. Unfortunately that means Brock's Gym will be very hard.. unless I manage to catch a Nidoran on the other side of the forest.

Next update for my Fire Red Nuzlocke, I think I might actually have a full team now!!

-Continuing from Route 20, I head into the back entrance of the Seafoam Islands, praying to encounter a Seel, as I urgently needed a resonably bulky Ice-type
-RNG gods continue their hatred towards me, and a Psyduck appears. Not wanting to waste a Pokemon, I capture myself Headache the Psyduck. Surprisingly, it has a Modest nature, so it might not be so bad.
-Go back to Cinnabar Island and head to the Pokemon Center, where I heal and then join Bill to the first three of the Sevii Islands.
-Get assigned work as Bill and Celio work on the PC issue (yeah sure, they just need privacy to rekindle their long lost love for each other)
-First head back to Treasure Beach and capture Geico the Docile Tangela
-Go to Kindred Road and capture MLP the Ponyta. Now I have a trade for the Seel
-Headache evolves into Golduck. It has a surprisingly high Special Attack, I think I will keep him.
-Got Rock Smash, taught it to Headache.
-Yeah, remember what I said about keeping Headache? It got KO'd by a critical hit from a Primeape. Normally I'd be pissed, but I've gotten so used to this game hating on Water-types that I can't even be annoyed. It's kinda just a hollow hole in my chest.
-Continued through to Mt. Ember. Tried to catch a Machop outside it, I KO'd it -_-
-Inside the mountain I caught Maximus the Jolly Machoke, guess things worked out alright *shrugs*
-Went up and fought Moltres. Samus actually did something and 2HKO'd the flying bird.
-Returned down the path and went to Two Island
-Talked to the dude in the game corner, was sent to save Lostelle (love that name)
-Arrived at Three Island and defeated the Biker Federation blokes with Hokus
-Stored the dead Headache in the newly running PC system.
-Continued through Bond Bridge, not seeing anything interesting to capture, and headed into Berry Woods
-I've never actually found a Berry in the Berry Woods, and this time was no different
-Captured Dr.Ozzy (I wanted Dr.Ostritch but it didnt fit) the Timid Exeggcute
-Saved Lostelle
-Returned to Two Island and completed the meteorite mission
-By some stroke of fate, I checked the Pokedex and found that Poliwhirl could be found on Cape Brink
-Sprinted over there, the hope of a Jynx still very much alive, and used a Super Rod
-First to appear: Gyarados. Ha, sucks to be you, cause thanks to Loophole the Magikarp and my no duplicates or evolutions of duplicates, I can just ignore it.
-Fished again, POLIFUCKINGWHIRL APPEARS!!!
-Caught myself ThankJesus the Timid Poliwhirl
-Returned to Bill and Celio (clearly their relationship didnt work out, cause Celio tried to make a move on me), and me and Bill left the Islands
-I just gotta say, not having a permanant fly slave is a real pain in the ass. Cause every time I gotta fly some place, I gotta go to a PC, switch Ruffrabble in, fly to where I need to go, then switch him out again. And the process repeats very often.
-Flew to Cerulean and traded away ThankJesus for Zynx the Mild Jynx.
-On another note, Zynx's OT had the same as my ingame character. Zynx's OT was Dontae and I am Dante. They are homophones of each other
-Anyway, I checked my Pokedex and saw I had 51 Pokemon, so I went through the long process of switching Ruffrabble in and got myself the "I'm Feeling Richer Effect" producing Amulet Coin and the even better EXP. Share from the Prof's Aids. (yeah, he has a nasty case of Aids... probably from loving that old hag Agatha)
-Here is where I had my ingeneous loophole idea. I figured that while I wasnt allowed to use Headache in battle anymore, there was never a rule against trading her. So, I smartly traded a dead Golduck for the living Marc the Relaxed Lickitung. While I wont use him, he makes a decent back up for Baloo.
-Flew to Viridian (Y U SO SUCKY RUFFRABBLE???), and fought the trainers in the gym. But knowing my team was underlevelled, I left to train them some more
-Went to Cinnabar and traded MLP for Seelor (its a pun lol) the Bold Seel. Not gonna be used but makes a decent backup for Zynx.
-Saved on the sea route before Fuchsia City to train some more

pkfrlg003.png

Chobani the Quiet Venasaur (M)
Level 45
Ability: Overgrow
Moves: Strength, Razor Leaf, Sleep Powder, Leech Seed
Opinion: Helpful in fighting the Viridian Gym, but Idk if I will use him Zynx for fighting Giovanni. At least he is back to being the highest levelled Pokemon on the team and getting some use. Still a solid 'mon overall though

pkfrlg051.png

Gotlegs? the Serious Dugtrio (M)
Level 43
Ability: Sand Veil
Moves: Cut, Rock Slide, Slash, Dig
Opinion: Still an unfortunate falling stall. He is just really weak right now. He got some use in the Viridian Gym, he just doesnt have the moves to function right now. He really needs Earthquake, cause right now he is more deadweight than anything.

pkfrlg065.png

Hokus the Hardy Alakazam (M)
Level 44
Ability: Inner Focus
Moves: Reflect, Recover, Psybeam, Psychic
Opinion: The thrid member who saw action in the Viridian Gym, he really helped out, KOing some tougher foes. Things have always looked good for Hokus, and that really has never changed for him.

pkfrlg143.png

Baloo the Brave Snorlax (M)
Level 44
Ability: Immunity
Moves: Body Slam, Surf, Brick Break, Shadow Ball
Opinion: Still the team's MVP, however he surprisingly saw very little usage this chapter. He just wasnt needed, as the rest of the team needed to be trained and there were a lot of fighting types. Still, he is very reliable in a pinch.

pkfrlg026.png

Samus the Modest Raichu (F)
Level 43
Abiltiy: Static
Moves: Thunderbolt, Strength, Brick Break, Double Team
Opinion: No longer the LVP, she is one spot above that (poor Gotlegs? takes the lowest spot). She is still fun to use, and has relatively good coverage, she just hasn't really had good matchups since she joined the team. But she will be good against Loreli and my Rival, so I'm not too worried.

pkfrlg124.png

Zynx the Mild Jynx (F)
Level 36
Ability: Oblivious
Moves: Lovely Kiss, Ice Punch, Confusion, Water Pulse
Opinion: Thank god for her, she will be a godsend for fighting Lance. I havent given LVP because I know she will perform well, and therefore I will leave her untiered. All I wish is that I could give her a better Psychic STAB. Oh well, Ice Punch and Water Pulse will have to do.

I am sorry I failed you, good bye my friend.

pkfrlg055.png

Headache the Modest Golduck (F)
Levels 32-34
Final Words: Another disappointing catch that turned into something useful. I really wanted to use her, but that crit took her away. I have to say though, she was the only deceased Pokemon that was of use to me in the after life, allowing me to get Marc the Lickitung. Thank you my friend, and good bye (though really you are with some necrophiliac kid)

With the addition of Zynx, my team now has an answer to Lance, and reliable check to my Rival incase Samus falls. Overall I am pleased with this team, and avoiding any shocking casualties, I think I am in a good position to get through this.

Well, was able to beat Brock, thanks to Pidgeotto's Sand Attack.

The Team:

Sparky lv 14 Pikachu Pallet Town
Wings lv 15 Pidgeotto Viridian Forest
Chompy lv 14 Rattata Route 2

The Fallen:
Ace lv 6-10 Pidgey Route 1

Next Fire Red Update

-Did some grinding to get my team to a respecatable level
-Got really bored of grinding, so I just decided to challange Giovanni
-Zynx was still weak, so I used Chobani to challenge Giovanni
-Chobani solo'd Giovanni, giving me the final Gym Badge
-Left the Gym, healed, and went out to Route 22
-My Rival Joe appeared, and we battled
-Though his level 53 Charizard scared me, my team proved strong and I won the battle without any casualties
-Healed my team and saved the game

pkfrlg003.png

Chobani the Quiet Venasaur (M)
Level 47
Ability: Overgrow
Moves: Strength, Razor Leaf, Sleep Powder, Leech Seed
Opinion: He made a comback this chapter by soloing Giovanni, he also did some good work against my rival. Idk how much use he will have in the E4, but he will make a good back-up check for certain threats.

pkfrlg051.png

Gotlegs? the Serious Dugtrio (M)
Level 45
Ability: Sand Veil
Moves: Cut, Rock Slide, Slash, Dig
Opinion: Did nothing this chapter, just kinda hanging out now, still waiting to get to level 51 to get Earthquake

pkfrlg065.png

Hokus the Hardy Alakazam (M)
Level 46
Ability: Inner Focus
Moves: Reflect, Recover, Psybeam, Psychic
Opinion: Saw some use this chapter, but really didnt do a whole lot. But is definitely gonna get use against Agatha and Bruno.

pkfrlg143.png

Baloo the Brave Snorlax (M)
Level 44
Ability: Immunity
Moves: Body Slam, Surf, Brick Break, Shadow Ball
Opinion: Not really much to say. He took out my rival's Exeggcute and Alakazam so that was nice, overall though he has been taking some time off in these last couple chapters.

pkfrlg026.png

Samus the Modest Raichu (F)
Level 47
Abiltiy: Static
Moves: Thunderbolt, Strength, Brick Break, Double Team
Opinion: Was great against my rival, only issue is that her SpA is rather low. I need to get her to a good level so she can KO the foes I expect her to.

pkfrlg124.png

Zynx the Mild Jynx (F)
Level 40
Ability: Oblivious
Moves: Lovely Kiss, Ice Punch, Confusion, Water Pulse
Opinion: Still a bit of a hinderance now due to her low level, but that will change with some more training. I expect her to perform extremely well in the Pokemon League.

Getting ready for the final showdown of the first part of the game. I still need to defeat Zapdos and get my team to the mid 50's range, but overall I am pleased with how things are going. Just need to keep my team alive and things should work out. Wish me luck!

I decided to start a Nuzlocke on Crystal!

Rules:
-Must catch the first Pokemon I see on a route. This starts once I receive Poke Balls.
-No duplicates
-Must always have a full team of six, once, and as long as, I'm able to have one.
-Can only buy two of each item at the Poke Mart, except for Poke Balls, which I'm allowed to buy five of.
-Nicknames of course
(There might be more rules that I'm forgetting, but whatever)

Not gonna do a fan fiction, or anything like that. Stuff'll be in spoilers though.

-Started out and chose a Cyndaquil. His name is Bob.
-Did all the stupid beginning of the game stuff, and destroyed my rival. Named him Dicks since I am two.
-Went off to the routes I can go to and caught the Pokemon I could get.
-Ended up with a Sentret, a Geodude, and a Caterpie. I'm bad at nicknames, so their names are Terruf, Melog, and Eerfrettub, respectively.
-In the next route I caught a Pidgey. The second Pokemon I saw was a Ledyba. Lucky break, I guess.
-Pidgey's name is, you guessed it, Toegdip.
-And now I'm headed to Violet City, and the stuff there.

-Got to Violet City and went straight to the part of Route 36(?) that you can access. Got a Ledyba named Naidel, and attempted to train it.
-Naidel died, and I remembered that I hadn't gone to Dark Cave yet
-Caught a Teddiursa named Gniarsu, and added it to my team.
-Went to Sprout Tower, ended up with a Rattata named Etacitar. Kept that in my box.
-After destroying Sprout Tower, I went to the Gym, where I assumed Melog would be awesome.
-He was only good for the trainers since he was too slow to hit Falkner's Pokemon.
-Got the Togepi egg and hatched Citegot
-After that, went to Route 32, and got a Bellsprout named Lebeertciv. Replaced Terruf with that since I didn't want two Normal types.
-Finished up Route 32 and Union Cave (caught a Zubat there)
