What if Metang got Recover?
Metang has always been locked down upon because of its mediocre offensive presence and lack of recovery. However, if Metang got Recover its niche would be improved many timesfold. With a 16 PP 50% recovery move Metang is capable of abusing its great Steel/Psychic typing in many ways such as becoming a much more reliable check to a myriad of threats. Pokemon such as Zangoose, Glaceon, Vanilluxe, Rotom-F, Altaria, Cinccino, Absol, Skuntank, Gardevoir, Kadabra, and Musharna are all easily checked by Metang and worn down by a combination of Meteor Mash and Toxic. Something such as Stealth Rock / Recover / Meteor Mash / Toxic would cover a good amount of bases and gives Metang a lot of utility to work around with.
