I posted a set I find pretty cool in Project RU v2
@

Trait: Swarm
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Endure
- Reversal
- Megahorn
- Iron Head

Category: Standard Movesets with a twist.
What's different about the set: Well its the standard Choice Band Escavalier set but with a twist. Custap Berry is really cool on Escavalier. It allows it to dish out Priority-Swarm-boosted Megahorns and full power Reversals. Endure lets it survive any attack with 1 HP left. Reversal hits Aggron, Steelix, Magneton etc. hard. Megahorn and Iron Head are standard STABs. You can use more speed if you like for outrunning Slowking and such.
Why it works:People don't expect Escavalier to survive certain Super Effective hits like Hidden Power Fire and Fire Blasts. After Escavalier survives and hits them with a Reversal or Megahorn they realize what just happend.
Positives/Negatives: Positives: you get a few surprise kills as well as your usual kills. Negatives you lose Choice Band or Leftovers. You lose Pursuit. You lose Sleep Talk / Return. C & C remain the same, though Magneton needs to watch out for Reversal. Teammate should be pokemon that can take on Fire types as well as Steel types. Poliwrath, Will-O-Wisp etc.

Credit goes to DelanHaar6 for the set or to anyone who discovered it first. My first post of this sort, so it may not be up to standard.

Escavalier @ Damp Rock
Trait: Overcoat
EVs: 8 Atk / 248 HP / 252 SDef
Careful Nature
- Rain Dance
- Megahorn
- Iron Head
- Sleep Talk

Specially defensive rain summoner. Great typing and great bulk allows it to check many things most rain teams struggle with such as Lilligant, and while typically strong fire types such as Magmorter are thought to counter Escavalier the rain also mitigates it's lone weakness to fire. While Escavalier can't bypass these Fire types the Rain it summons does allow very dangerous Swift Swimmers such as Kabutops or Ludicolo to come in and destroy them with rain boosted Waterfalls and Hydro Pumps. It also checks Hail teams very nicely, resisting Blizzard while carrying a STAB super Effective move on most abusers while changing the weather, allowing Rain teams to much more easily win the weather war. With Overcoat it's even immune to Hail, and it's typing leaves it immune to Toxic Spikes meaning it's very hard to wear down. So yea, it fills the niche of being an excelent rain summoner / sleep fodder quite nicely while still posing an offensive presence thanks to it's naturally high attack meaning that it's Megahorn will still hurt.

Escavalier @ Chesto Berry
Trait: Overcoat
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Spd
Careful Nature
- Megahorn
- Iron Head
- Pursuit
- Rest

One of Escavalier's main flaws at the moment is that its vulnerable to being worn down over the course of the match because of its lack of reliable recovery. Chestorest patches up this flaw to an extent, providing Escavalier with a one use way to fully heal itself from any prior damage, residual damage, or status all in one turn! giving Escav way more much needed longetivity. Aside from the addition of Chestorest over Sleep Talk/Return, this Escavalier plays very similarly to almost every other Escavalier set, switching in on Pokemon such as Uxie, Sceptile, and Hp Rock Lilligant, forcing them out with a combination of bulk and typing, and either Pursuit trapping the formerly mentioned Pokemon or smacking the switch in with a really, really strong Megahorn, the only really notable difference is that this Escavalier can fully heal itself on a free turn if its sufficiently weakened, but this is very important. While Chestorest Escavalier isn't quite as strong as CB Escavalier because of the lack of a boosting item, it still has 405 Attack and a base 120 BP STAB to work with, more than enough to effectively do its job regardless in my opinion, the Pursuit might be a bit weaker, but thats not too big of a problem tbh. One final thing to note is that Chestorest Escavalier can be played both offensively and defensively, so although i used Offensive Escavalier for this example, Chestorest can be effectively used on defensive Escav as well, and if you think you need the extra special bulk feel free to change things up a bit.

Escavalier @ Leftovers
Trait: Overcoat
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SDef
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spd

- Iron Head
- Megahorn
- Swords Dance
- Substitute

Escavalier typically lures in bulky Waters, such as Poliwrath and Qwilfish, which try to thwart its attmepts at setting up and/or sweeping. At the cost of a "coverage" move (usually Return anyways), Escavalier can arm itself with Substitute, then set up easily in the face of those which seek to wall it, and go on to attempt a sweep if the opponent lacks any remaining Fire-types or Steelix:

0 Atk Qwilfish Waterfall vs. 248 HP / 0 Def Escavalier: 79-94 (23.03 - 27.4%) -- possible 4HKO (62.5% chance to break sub)
0 SpA Poliwrath Scald vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Escavalier: 61-73 (17.78 - 21.28%) -- possible 5HKO (0% chance to break sub)

Furthermore, should Escavalier switch in on a CB Tomb's Pursuit or Shadow Sneak, Substitute gives it an excellent safe option for a set-up move, allowing it a free attack on whatever unfortunate Pokemon should come in after the fleeing opponent.

Simple SubSD is not the only trick up Escavalier's metal sleeve. This set becomes even more powerful if combined with Trick Room; with the ability to underspeed and take out Slowking easily, as well as force out a large portion of the metagame, warped dimensions provide an excellent platform for Escavalier to set up. If enough turns of Trick Room remain, Escavalier can even take out a good portion of the opponent's team with or without setting up.

Escavalier @ Bug Gem
Trait: Swarm
evs 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Screech
- Pursuit
- Megahorn
- Knock Off / Iron Head

So there's a lot of annoying shit like Poliwrath and Qwilfish that like to switch into Escavalier. When Escavalier hits them with an unexpected Screech on the switch, all of sudden they find themselves 2HKO'd by resisted attacks. This is were Pursuit comes in, were Escavelier can simply trap those Pokemon that have decreased defenses, thus gradually wearing them down through the course of the match. If they're dumb enough to stay in, a Bug Gem boosted Megahorn 2HKOes -2 Poliwrath and 2HKOes -2 Qwilfish after a little prior damage. Once they know they're screwed, they'll try to escape, this is were Escavelier will finish them off with a combination of Pursuit and entry hazard damage. Knock Off is to annoy and strip away Leftovers recovery from walls and is also used to scout the set of the next switch-in by revealing their item, however, Iron Head can be used to get the jump on Fighting-types. The difference between this set and the Swords Dance set, is that it forces switches and allows you to take advantage of the Pursuit + Stealth Rock combination in the process. On top of that, if Escavelier is phazed out, the next physical attacker that switches in will find itself in a favorable position to set up on the -2 physical wall, forcing momentum in your favor. To sum it up, this set plays as both a lure and a momentum grabber (like Screech Flygon in DPP) but depends on the use of entry hazard damage and proper prediction in order to be executed successfully; high risk, high reward kinda thing.

Here are some fun calcs to check out:

252+ Atk Bug Gem Escavalier Megahorn vs. -2 4 HP / 0 Def Durant: 301-354 (116.66 - 137.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252+ Atk Bug Gem Escavalier Megahorn vs. -2 100 HP / 0 Def Klinklang: 294-346 (102.79 - 120.97%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252+ Atk Bug Gem Escavalier Megahorn vs. -2 248 HP / 0 Def Escavalier: 318-374 (92.71 - 109.03%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

252+ Atk Bug Gem Escavalier Megahorn vs. -2 12 HP / 244 Def Hariyama: 362-426 (83.79 - 98.61%) -- 37.5% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

252+ Atk Bug Gem Escavalier Megahorn vs. -2 156 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Magneton: 231-273 (82.5 - 97.5%) -- 25% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

252+ Atk Bug Gem Escavalier Megahorn vs. -4 252 HP / 220+ Def Steelix: 217-256 (61.29 - 72.31%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

P.S. This thing plays like a god with some extra Spikes support, but Stealth Rock is all you really need.
