First ASB Tournament Predictions Tournament!

Woot, last as expected! Knew I shouldnt have voted for myself :P.

Apparently not being on Smogon for two days puts you very behind the times ;_;

Anyway, here's the form for Round 4. 48 hours to predict, etc etc. Will send out reminders at this time tomorrow to anyone who hasn't predicted (barring another random absence).

I'm predicting MK vs GK to be the most split decision, but Deck vs Engineer is definitely the highlight.

Tort vs dan is probably the hardest to predict since while dragonite is dead weight, piroak can destroy krillo and scyclan, i'm really divided here, so dan (sorry tort, the coin speak), i'm pretty sure the other ones are gonna be close ones

Dragonite is a boss; without it, I wouldn't have even got past HD, much less put up a fight against Engineer. I dang near pulled off a super-comeback just because Dragonite is that awesome (and it only had around 25 moves, to boot!)

Actually I'm not 100% sure next round will be 16. The idea of the amount doubling each round is that each round is worth the same total amount of points. This doesn't work for the finals though, since there's the same amount of matches as there were in the semis due to the round robin format. At the same time though I don't particularly want to make the finals worth the same as the semis since it just feels right to have the finals be worth more. So I'm thinking I'll compromise and make the finals worth 12 points each, and if tiebreaker matches (or a single tie-breaker match depending on what DarkSlay and Engineer want to do in that situation) are necessary then they'll probably be worth 16. If anyone wants to make a different suggestion though I'm all ears!

Holy smokes, this is down to the wire. I must say, I'm rather surprised that I'm doing this well. Dummy looks pretty comfortable; he only has to worry about 11 players, but I have to beat 15 players off with a stick (and beat Dummy and danman to boot) if I hope to win. To be honest, I'm not in it for the TC; the prestige of placing/winning is more attractive.

More horrible timing on my part.
