Two questions:

1. Do the Wise Glasses increase the Special Atk by 10% or 20%

2. If I have Pokerus and use a power item for say Speed, and I attack a Magikarp (1 Speed EV), I get 10 Sp EVs? ((1+4)x2)

does Att stat or the moves power directly translate into damage?

what i mean i will having twice the Att stat, lets say 200 Att vs 400 Att, mean that twice the damage will be done ceteris paribus?

and does a 120 power move do twice the damage than a 60 power move?

If you know your pokemon's IVs, find what the stats would be at its present level, find the difference, divide by four to get the EV values.

Like IV's*lvl*stat/4?
Metalkid say its invalid all the time and i put my Pokemons Stats.
Like Floatzel in lvl 42 i take HP and all other stats amnd its read invalid.
If i dont know what my Pokemon has fore EV's i cant know what i have for IV's right?

This is more of a stupid question than a simple one, but say this happened in Uber Wifi:

-Darkrai used Dark Void, it missed (there's a 10% chance)
-Wobbuffet used Encore
-Darkrai used Dark Void Wobbuffet falls asleep
-Player B switches out wobbuffet and sends in (don't matter but) Palkia
-Darkrai used Dark Void, Palkia fell asleep

If sleep clause were on, would Darkrai user immediately lose? I mean, he's encored into Dark Void and he couldn't switch out because of wobbuffet's shadow tag, right?

Shinies - why do some people get so many and others so few?

i have FireRed, (completed), Sapphire, (completed), Emerald, working through.
Pearl, 190 hours of breeding, playing through etc.

Yet i have not seen, not caught 1 shiny

Are some carts going to have more shinies than others from the factory? if i reset my sapphire, or FR and played through again at a different time/date would i be more likely to catch/see a shiny?" am i cursed?!

i would think so.

Yea, I've only ever seen one shiny in fire red, none in the new gen. Yet some people have captured a lot, like 5 or something (not including chaining/SRing). So I dunno.

I have a Timid Azelf with HP fighting, its really good, although I never used HP fighting on it. Has anyone ever used HP fighting on Azelf in shoddy, and does it work well?

I have Donphan out, who uses Ice Shard.

THe opponent has Lucario out, who uses Copycat.

What happens?

Also, where can i find a list of priority moves, and what goes first when?

Like, which move has highest priority?

If two moves have the same priority, the faster pokemon goes first.

If Azumarril used Aqua Jet, and Hitmontop used Mach Punch, Hitmontop uses his move first.

Copycat is not a priority move. Copycat performs the last move used in battle, so in this case, Lucario would use Ice Shard after Donphan

+5 Helping Hand
+4 Snatch, Magic Coat
+3 Follow Me
+2.5 Focus Punch (charge)
+2 Protect, Detect, Endure, Feint
+1 all "Quick Attack" moves, Extremespeed, Fake Out, Bide, Sucker Punch
*0 Sleep Talk, Assurance, Me First, Payback, Everything else
-1 Vital Throw
-2 Focus Punch
-3 Revenge, Avalanche
-4 Counter, Mirror Coat
-5 Roar, Whirlwind
-6 Trick Room

Nobody answered my question, =/. If a Poison / Flying-type uses Roost, and therefore loses its Flying-type and touches the ground, does it absorb Toxic Spikes?

I think it's an "on switch in" effect, but I'm not sure offhand. On a similar note, what would happen if a flying/levitate poison pokemon switched into toxic spikes with gravity in effect?

Hi. I've back after being grounded for 1 month, I don't know if any of you remember me, but here's my question to bring me back to speed:
Has there been anything gamebreaking after Chainchomp, and if so could you tell me what they are, thanks in advance.

Nubby question (I think >_>):

I was battling a friend today. I sent out Ninjask to get Speed and Sword Dance boosts, and he sent out a double-Toxic Spiking/SRing Fortress. I BPed the Speed and Attack on to Electivire. Upon switching, Electivire took damage from SR but was unaffected by Toxic Spikes. Why?

I don't think he is breaking sleep clause. Wobbuffet's basically inflicting sleep on a teammate on purpose by switching. I'd consider that self-inflicted sleep like Rest.
