The BW Doubles Tourney
Approved by EarthwormSmogon tournament rules
With the success of the First Smogon Doubles Tourney, it follows that we should have a 5th gen doubles tournament to explore double battles outside of VGC 2011.
RULES:
- Single elimination format
- All battles must be played on the Smogon Pokemon Online server.
- All battles must be conducted in a 6v6 doubles format.
- This is a 5th Generation tournament.
- OHKO Clause is in effect
- Evasion Clause is in effect
- Sleep Clause is in effect
- Species Clause is in effect
- Battle Timeout is in effect
- Wi-Fi Clause is in effect
- The ability Moody is banned
- The items Lax Incense and Brightpowder are banned
- You cannot have a pokemon with Swift Swim on the same team as a pokemon with Drizzle

SIGNUPS:
- There will be 32, 64, or 128 participants depending on the number of signups.
EDIT: 48 players, as it turns out. - First come first serve for the first 62.5% players with the remaining players randomized.
