80-85, not bad. I really need to migrate to shift over caps lock, though!
typingtest.com takes off one wpm per mistake, which is pretty silly imoi haven't done this one yet, but i normally score around a hundred, maybe a bit less
don't these tests normally penalize mistakes though? i definitely recall the other ones i've done deducting like five wpm per typo
Typing this way is utterly stupid to me. I was taught this way as well, and I was just like "what the fuck is this bullcrap?""A, S, D, F"(Left Hand)......"J, K, L, ;"(Right Hand)
Both thumbs resting on the space bar
In 5th grade, I was taught to have my fingers in those positions. It's a central point where your fingers can reach any other key with the least amount of effort. For someone who's been typing that way for so long, I'm pretty fuckin slow...

Have your hands flowing freely and you can type much faster, more efficiently, and more comfortably. Don't revert to some "starting position" at all times and stuff.
The same reason Pokemon is so addicting, but we should all know that :P(how can something so simple be so addicting?)
