Still only a 4x SE, I'm not sure what you're trying to prove.
The hell is that.
If it in fact multiplies damage, what is the point of the move? Hit Scrafty, Caturne, Shiftry and Abamosnow? Have SE coverage on mono dark and mono grass in the same slot?
That seems like such an obscure niche. Why not just use Close Combat and Acrobatics?
There is something wrong with your HP prediction here. Not only does regular aero have base 80 HP but a Lv20 aero before evolution can only hit 62HP if it has an IV of 31 (and 0 EVs) - and it seems highly likely that a revived fossil will come out at ~Lv20 and therefore have no EVs.
The other stats look sensible though.
Edit: I mean generally this is the limitation of using ready resources, it is much more realistic and flexible to simply work backwards using the equations with a sensible confidence interval.
I'd fall over if that were the Noivern Pre-Evo.
Not 100% relevant, but since everyone is quoting this statistic and some are doing it incorrectly: Dry Skin makes a Pokémon take 25% more damage from Fire moves than normal. So a Paras with Dry Skin only takes 5x damage from Fire moves, a Toxicroak takes 1.25x damage from Fire moves, etc.
also Goomy is an adorable name, but for a Dragon?
Goomy seems to be based on an incredibly obscure animal named dragon slug:
Or evolves into Poison/Dragon.
I personally don't think the two combined types will compound, meaning it'll hit Scrafty/Sawsbuck 2x still. At its core, Flying Press is a fighting type move.
Very unsure though. I just want to play this game.
Regarding your 2nd line, if that holds true, then I mentioned earlier that Parasect in the Sun is 32x weak to fire/flying. A dual-typed fire spin will OHKO it.
Versus an injured Celebi. Could use Acrobatics for SE. Could switch to Close Combat and predict a switch. Could use Flying Press, grab a neutral STAB on Celebi if it stays in, guarantee that short of a ghost, you will still be hitting anything for neutral STAB.
All of these are full of win.
New ability: immune to all contact attacks. GG Fufrou, nice try but Dragon slug wins.
I hope we find out what its actual ability is though
It would be the most amazing thing if that wound up being our pseudo-legendary
And also if it was super defensive
Tha blob is gonna be the Bagon/Deino/Pseudo this gen
Mark my words
Possibly Sticky Hold? Also, this would make the best pseudo-legendary ever.
Hide (Move your mouse to the hide area to reveal the content)
Well, another theory that's probably flawed:
I agree that CC and acrobatics will be the way to go. It honestly depends on Hawlucha's need for coverage. If it only has 2 attack slots available (Swords Dance + Substitute for example), then it could run Flying Press and Stone Edge / rock slide to hit pokemon like Zapdos (either on the switch or after a SD, Hawlucha might be the faster pokemon).
Egad! Could that be my precious Dragon/Poison type in the making?
Would be nice to not get a dragon/psuedo-dragon for our psuedo-legend this generation. It'd make a big statement. For comparison, the only two times we haven't had a dragon-typed psuedo-legend were the generation where Dark debuted, and the generation immediately following Steel's debut.
Goomy's pokedex number seems too low for a pseudo-legendary.
In other news, its special defense is pretty good and it has Hydration. It might be a fine addition to rain teams.
Hmm, looks like it's the first revealed Mountain Dex pokemon. Interesting...
Punches and kicks bounce off of it... Logically its lowest stat is defense and sDef is sky high
Salamence was in gen 3 too bro
1) I did say plus or minus 8 but you're wrong on your calculation. lv20 aero hits 62 HP with a 0 IV. It's not unlikely that it lost some though since others are known to have lost a little in a stat.
2) I use a weighted calculation to do this. 73 was the most likely base stat given the stats and nature alone.
