Sleep Clause does not take into account encore.

Say Person A uses sleep powder and Person B's pokemon falls asleep. Person B switches out and uses encore. Person A is stuck with sleep powder, but it will always fail because of Sleep Clause.

Basically, the Sleep Clause does not take into account moves that you are forced into.

It's meant to be that way, but instead of automatically disqualifying the user with Sleep Powder, the sim makes the move fail.

It's not a bug, it's meant to be that way.

Honestly, I don't see how this can ever come up.

Say Person A uses sleep powder and Person B's pokemon falls asleep. Person B switches out and uses encore. Person A is stuck with sleep powder, but it will always fail because of Sleep Clause.
How does person B switch out and use encore at the same time? The only time you will encounter this issue is if person A uses sleep powder AGAIN, and it fails because of sleep clause, and then person B encores it. Person A would be disqualified in a cartridge battle for trying to sleep a second pokemon like that, but the sim is nice and just causes it to fail.

Espeon obtained one Expert Belt!

Not sure as to the reason why, but as soon as I used Trick, Espeon's sprite disappeared.

whenever you get a chance, can you get to debugging 'torment'.
the pokeman is still able to use the same move in succession after torment is executed.
it would be much appreciated man.

The foe's Miltank is hurt by poison!
Turn 10

The foe's Miltank used Body Slam!
Shedinja's Focus Sash activated!
[DEBUG] damage event said zero.

So Miltank probably has Scrappy making his normal attack work on ghost type but it's not super effective so wonder guard should still block it but it didnt since focus sash activated itself.

Today I had a bug where my opponent KO'd themselves with brave bird, and I used Curse (I had a normal type pokemon). The move had no effect, saying there was no target for the move.

This may not said it clearly, but when Stellar (Jirachi) used Wish the pokemon on the other side of the field received the recovery, and it did the same the other way around (the turn after pursuit Stellar (Jirachi) should have gotten to 100% Hp (Wish) and scizor be a little bit damaged (Iron Head) but it was the other way (Jirachi at 88% and Scizor at 100%)

Even if you use Curse with a Normal-type?
Yes, Curse fails if there is no target, no matter the typing of the Pokemon using it. It has been that way ever since Gen 4, it was a Shoddy bug that it did activate upon the opponent fainting, and I haven't seen Curse used enough on PO to see if it acts up or not.

Double Hit should activate Iron Barbs twice, once per hit. It currently does not.

Yeah, sorry. I had asked my friend after I had posted this and he said what you said. I never knew it worked that way because this situation has never happened for me before, and I assumed it worked the same as all other stat-boosting moves.

Magic Coat bounced back a Ferrothorn's Toxic and actually poisoned it. I'm pretty sure that's not supposed to happen.

Also, Harvest NEVER activates when it isn't sunny. I'm pretty sure it says 50% chance, not never.

I'm wondering if it does this when it chooses somethign like protect?

Something odd happened with Sucker Punch, Dugtrio used it against a switching Ferrothorn (Switching in) and he received damage from Iron Barbs and Rocky Helmet (even if the attack shouldn't have happened thanks to the fact that nobody attacked Dugtrio), even fainting due to the residual damage

Um, this isn't a battle bug, but whenever I try to click on a battle to watch it, nothing happens.

I'm using Internet Explorer, if that's the problem, but I'm not sure.

TonyMuhplaah: Wait, that's not right
TonyMuhplaah: Does destiny bond really work if you flinched the turn before?

I'm pretty sure flinching gets rid of Destiny Bond's effects.
