Just another friendly reminder that if you have any doubts of legitimacy, don't offer it for trade. As long as it's not blatantly illegal, it can be used to breed, but again, if you have any doubts, better to just find someone who you can trust to have gotten it legally.

I hope this hasn't been asked before, but can English language Pokemon have Japanese names? I just got a shiny Charizard from WT and it's driving me crazy because I can't believe there isn't something wrong with it:

Language: English
Species: Charizard
OT: Jordan
ID No.: 21912
IVs: 31/31/31/x/31/31
Ability: Blaze
Pokemon's name: リザードン (Rizaadon)
Gender: Male
Level: 36
Pokeball: Regular Pokeball
Shiny?: Yes
Moves: Wing Attack, Outrage, Dragon Dance, Flare Blitz
Nature: Adamant
Region of origin: Kalos
Characteristic: Takes plenty of siestas
Ribbons: None
Other comments: Has memories, from a Day-Care Couple, hatched Route 7, fairly certain I the trader wasn't the OT.

It could've been bred on an English game, then traded to and evolved on a Japanese game.

Seems legal. May be a TSV hatch if the summary says egg obtained in a link trade.

Just throwing it out there, remember Powersaves has codes for nature changing as well as IV changing (0,1,30,31 iirc).

If you know who it originated from and know it's details, why are you posting this here?

EDIT:
The likelihood of getting either of those Gengars is almost mathematically impossible, you can't defy odds like that twice, let alone once.
I'm just asking this because I find it odd that he'd post these two Gengars without asking for someone who can check hidden values in the SQSR thread.

nope, you can check that using mass dumper . Mass dumper shows the real value of a pokemon .
<Kaphotics> wat
<Kaphotics> you can't check for changed IVs

Regarding the Gengar in question: There isn't really a way to check it, so you'll have to take the OT's word that it's the real deal. While the IVs and nature are suspicious, it certainly is possible, and such things have happened before.

Premier ribbon, signs of improper cloning in Pokecheck. Consider it a hack.

Hi, I've been working with the moderators on Pokemon Showdown to identify hacks and wanted to post here because we've found some pretty widespread stuff from OT: Mr.PoPo, including shiny Pichu, Squirtle, and Charmander. They were undoubtedly shinefied as they all have different TID #s.

On another note, OT: Mr.PoPo also has a 31/x/26/31/31/31 HP Ice Zapdos that is pretty common on Showdown and I imagine here as well. It appears that this is legit as I can verify that it was around before PowerSaves released the IV codes.

Different TIDs does not necessarily point towards hacking (or at least not illegal for trade on Smogon varieties).

I (for one [, I am aware of others also]) have multiple save files each with a different TID and SID combination, but having the same OT (Misty). Having the same SID however would (more likely) point towards shinifying (as I believe that the force shiny code on Powersaves changes the TID to one which would make the Pokémon shiny, but leaves the SID unaltered).

I would also like to point out that anything with the OT Steven is hacked. Hes my friend, but his friend is a well-known PSaver. They do not go on smogon.

You should provide the ID as well, he's not the only one with that OT I'm pretty sure.
