Silly Things You've Seen In Other Metagames

So I was messing around with smashpass + dragonite + zygarde in AAA. The thing that's so amazing is the fact that you're pretty much guaranteed a shell smash + baton pass with multiscale. While some games were very easy, others I got screwed over by the most random things. Here is a list:

Scarf Espeed Lucario (refrigerate)
2 intimidaters on the same team.
Levitate Regirock (ok, maybe that's legit, but still)

Non-STAB special move coming off 40 special attack? Sign me up!
Some friends of mine on the Nuzlocke forums have been going into 1 v 1 with purposely sub-optimal sets, like physical Alakazam and speed Shuckle, and seeing how far they can get. I wonder if that Tauros is them too? Either way, currently the best one they've found was special Machamp, who is surprisingly good and anti-meta from what I heard. (Though don't take my word for it since I don't play 1v1.)

Ability: Sheer Force
Item: Life Orb
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Nature: Timid
-Fire Blast
-Focus Blast
-Psychic
-Sunny Day/Hidden Power [Electric/Ice]/Flamethrower/Protect

This is my favorite of some of the troll sets I've used just for fun. Although Specs Machamp is easily second. But this thing is one of the most unexpected things there are in any metagame. Although I've seen weirder 1v1 sets. Also, while making this set I learned how atrocious Darmanitan's special movepool is. It has like 3 good special moves.

Special Machamp is also fun.

Ability: No Guard
Item: Choice Specs
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 Spe
Nature: Modest
-Focus Blast
-Fire Blast
-Hidden Power [Dark]
-Hyper Beam/Seismic Toss/Swagger/Metronome/Dynamic Punch

You know what I said about Darmanitan's lack of a special movepool? Yeah.... (it's a cool set though)

It gets Vacuum Wave. PRIORITY FTW

Supersonic Flygon et al. take on a Gengar-Mega...

deflyinknife: ill show you what hackmons are
I think he needs to be shown what Ubers are first...

Good god. That last one is the most painful replay I have ever seen. The first one isn't much better.

Ignore for the moment the fact that I was using a level 2 FEAR Sawk and think about the level 1 FEAR Magnemite that had Zap Cannon...

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/1v1-123520776

And the Attract Cloyster...

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/1v1-123522088

And the Sing Meloetta...

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/1v1-123523554

AND THE BLIZZARD + THUNDERBOLT BIDOOF...

This set is just bad enough that I stay perpetually at the bottom of the ladder.

Even those can't beat the other two. People messing around in hackmons is great. Even I have my own Magikarp team. But when people have no idea that their team sucks, or don't learn from their mistakes, that is when their team is even worse. My Magikarp team could beat the ones in your earlier post.

A Hackmons battle I saw in the replays:
Turn 2
The opposing Aerodactyl-Mega used Earthquake!
danky kang lost 20.0% of its health!
danky kang used Shadow Claw! [that's a Slaking]
A critical hit! The opposing Aerodactyl-Mega lost 56.0% of its health!
The opposing Aerodactyl-Mega fainted!
maaladca1 sent out Deoxys-Defense!
Turn 3
danky kang used Shadow Claw!
It's super effective! The opposing Deoxys-Defense lost 69.7% of its health!
The opposing Deoxys-Defense has no moves left!
The opposing Deoxys-Defense used Struggle!
danky kang lost 6.2% of its health!
The opposing Deoxys-Defense lost 25% of its health!
Turn 4
maaladca1 forfeited.
asflucifer won the battle!

Hackmons? What's Hackmons?

This one is no better.

It is a sad thing when either A) My ou team (which sucks) could beat your "hackmons" team, or B) My Magikarp themed team could beat your "hackmons" team
