Silly Things You've Seen In Other Metagames

(L) Defensive Mega Gengar
(R) Defensive Mega Lucario
(R) Mega Metagross with Shadow Sneak and FakeSpeed (Isn't that a little... overkill?)
(L) Ninjask in general
(L) Deoxys-N in general
(R) Metagross, despite being used as a FakeSpeeder, appears to have no Attack EVs
(R) Two Imposter Chanseys
(L) Mega Charizard Y with Mystical Fire
(L) Weavile with Twinneedle and Beat Up

Let me know if I missed anything

Guy on the left: Pretty competent team. I can call shenanigans on the Shedinja and a few of the final turns with Ferrothorn but he did a legit job. I can see him being a legit person that's new to the whole thing and trying to ladder up competently.

Guy on the right: Competent set of Pokemon at first glance - completely incompetent everything else. It's always funny to see you doing more damage to yourself than you are to the opponent.

I have to do this one. Spoiler alert: mostly (R) within.

(R) Deoxys-N.
(R) Deoxys-N using Brick Break.
(R) Deoxys-N using Brick Break on Shedinja.
(R) Deoxys-N using Brick Break on Shedinja two turns in a row.
(R) Earthquake+Agility (with Speed Boost, gotta go fast)+Bulk Up+Facade Blaziken.
(R) Mega Kangaskhan using Earthquake on Shedinja.
(R) Deoxys coming back in on Shedinja and using Double-Edge.
(R) Salamence using Dragon Tail is a bit suspect already, but it used it on, you guessed it, Shedinja.
(R) Another mon using Brick Break on Shedinja, this time Aegislash.
(L) Falling for the constant switching to PP stall Sucker Punch.
(R) Kangaskhan finally manages to take out Shedinja with... Fire Blast.
(R) Salamence using Body Slam (where's your mega stone?) on Sableye.
(R) Doing it again, before getting smart for a change and phazing Sableye out.
(R) Aegislash using Gyro Ball is not necessarily bad, but using it on Ferrothorn, the slowest mon that's viable in AG, certainly is.
(R) Salamence setting up on Ferrothorn, only to get smacked by a crit Gyro Ball.
(L) On that topic, is Curse Ferrothorn actually a thing?
(R) Aegislash using Autotomize, completely failing at the mechanics of Gyro Ball in so many ways.
(R) Blaziken being completely helpless against Ferrothorn. You have two sets of SE STAB moves and you have neither. As a result, it dooms its two remaining teammates (Aegislash and Kangaskhan) to die from Spikes damage.

Missing 4 90%s in a row is the most unfortunate thing I've ever seen
That's my luck for you.

Sigh. Both of these teams.
DRAGON GEM DRAGON PULSE NOIVERN

I had to fight rights team earlier. Thank God I forfeited.

Spinda.

6 Pokemon versus 3. How could you possibly lose?

What is happening here:

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/doublesoususpecttest-385651762

Turn 1

Linoone used Simple Beam!
Mew's Ability was suppressed!
Mew acquired Simple!

Mew used Amnesia!
Mew's Special Defense rose drastically!

Turn 2

Linoone used Fling!
Linoone flung its Salac Berry!
It's super effective! Mew lost 4% of its health!
Mew's Speed rose sharply!
Mew's Weakness Policy activated!
Mew's Attack rose drastically! Mew's Special Attack rose drastically!

Mew used Iron Defense!
Mew's Defense rose drastically!

- LC Team being slayed by Rayquaza until Drifloon stops it
- Hypnosis Ponyta ending the battle by using Horn Drill on Lugia

★Redgit: LOVING THIS STALL SET
★Redgit: THIS STALL
★Redgit: I LOVE THIS STALL
★Redgit: THIS STALL IS SO FILTHY
★Redgit: OMFG

And have this Mono-Normal Team losing to one single Electabuzz

(Why do I have the feeling of my font being smaller than usual?)

That's actually pretty clever. It's a bad gimmick, sure, but it's still pretty clever.

I cannot even describe this...
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-386368259

...
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-386252420
Rolling Kick, Conversion 2, Forest's Curse, Colour Change, Trick-or-Treat, Freeze Shock, Volt Tackle Haunter, Flying Press, Cross Poison Mega Gengar with Delta Stream, Shadow Force, Water Pulse, Primordial Sea Yveltal, as well as Grassy and Electric Terrain. And left's team is mono Water.
The amount of stupid things here is insane.
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-386065988
Most stupid team ever. Starring Focus Sash Shedinja.
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-386382450

Hypnosis Drain Punch Mega Gengar. With Metronome.

6 Arceus team including Poison Jab+Energy Ball+Judgment Arceus-Grass.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-386912269
Curse+Flame Charge+Baton Pass Speed Boost Torchic. Genius.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-386911640
Snorlax on an Ash team sweeps a bad team.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-386911435
Left has all level 50 mons, except a level 54 Braviary. The only reason this wasn't a 6-0 is that Glalie used Explosion.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-386910976
Johto team on the left getting swept by Scrafty after whiffing an Air Slash.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/custompower-386915602
Last I checked, Custom Power does not mean random levels or mixed sets. Also, time to play Guess the Mega on right's team.
It's Manectric, not Gyarados or (goddamn it) Charizard.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-386914834
A very lucky Acrobatics Mega Beedrill, Protect+Agility Scolipede without Speed Boost, and crits everywhere.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-386914852
Torrent Greninja, non-mega Absol, and most of the mons in general.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-386911838
A bunch of middle stage dragons get a win. Also starring Seaking and a bad Starmie gimmick.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-386913594
Troll team vs. bad Water team. Water team, after killing Murkrow #2 to go up 5-3, forfeits even though Cloyster could at least have left a good dent in what was left (assuming it had Rock Blast).

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-386914517
Well, that's an Arceus set that should never be used ever again.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-386912534
Electric mono defeats Grass Ground mono with Stunfisk, non-mega Camerupt, and, for some reason, Sandslash over Excadrill. (edit: derp)

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-386917277
This one needs a list. Offensive Lugia nearly steals the show.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogontriples-386922297
Basically everything on left's team.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-386920743
Haunter, and left having a few issues with the type chart.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-386920696
Right's entire team, and this on turn 22:

The opposing Beautifly used Thief!
A critical hit! Noivern lost 34% of its health!
The opposing Beautifly stole Noivern's Life Orb!
The opposing Beautifly lost some of its HP!
The opposing Beautifly fainted!

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-386920112
Right is a repeat from an earlier battle, and his Serperior laughs at your webs.

This one needs a list. Offensive Lugia nearly steals the show.
  • GeneralZift:use mega shuckle
  • (R) Bulldoze Mega Kangaskhan, despite having two Klefkis and a Scolipede for speed control. Earthquake would have dealt much more damage.
  • (L) Iron Head Primal Groudon, used on Lugia. Because Precipice Blades isn't powerful enough for Xerneas?
  • (R) One of the Lugias reveal Aeroblast.
  • (L) Substitute + Power Trick Shuckle, barely escaping from a Dragon Tail. Alas, the gimmick didn't last longer than 4 tours thanks to Toxic.
  • (R) The other Lugia (who has 100% HP unlike the previous one) has CM, Earth Power and, again, Aeroblast.
  • (L) Dazzling Gleam Xerneas. It is completely outclassed by Moonblast in singles. It also has Flash Cannon, also outclassed by Moonblast (but it makes sense now with Gleam because it has a secondary effect).
  • ★Epokemaster123: crap
    ★Epokemaster123: i forgot psychic
  • (R) Meanwhile, Scolipede misses both Megahorns on Xerneas and faints from the Gleam.
  • (L) Smeargle successfully pulls off the Lock-On + Sheer Cold combo on Lugia, ending the battle.
