Unranked AG could be interesting but probably won’t happen since it’s an OM that we at PS aren’t in charge of, and because your ranks don’t really matter anyway unless you want to get to mid-high ladder (where those legendaries are everywhere).
 
showdown has Protective Pads having a Fling base power of 30, but i believe it should be 80. bulbapedia agrees

I'm not sure about the protective pads fling base power (tagging Marty ) but the abilities look correct to me, they both are marked as hidden in the code, and display as hidden on showdown. ex: abilities: {0: "Blaze", H: "Solar Power"}, 0 means first ability, 1 is second, H is hidden.

It would be pretty neat if there was BGM on Showdown. Like when there isn't a battle going on, it'd be pretty cool. Obviously, it can be toggled. But I think it's something small and simple that can be mightily appreciated.
 
Concerning the Smogon forums, in the profile section, there's an area to mention your real name, but not one about your PS! name. Not all Smogoners have their PS name and it'd be convenient for tournaments and such for your opponent to know your PS! name. Also in the contacts section of your profile, can Discord be added? It's definitely one of the more popular ways to connect nowadays and deserves a spot on there.

Make moves that require recharge move such as hyper beam require the player no to have to select recharge, so it is quicker so just the opponent can make their move on the turn.
 
i have a suggestion, i've had many times when i've had a team ready but then i click validate after its done and it tells me (suh and such) cant battle because of (reason) so why not let us know immediately when a Pokemon cant be used or a move? i'm not sure on how hard it would be to do that but yea. also another thing make it obvious what is and isnt banned in each game because ive had times where ive picked a pokemon then built my team and then nope its banned

also another idea is the filter had more staying power rather than just filtering once and not still filtering once you pick a pokemon

I think it'd be beneficial for many people if the rooms were listed per category rather than amount of users. I was generous enough to create an example of how it also could have been.

Arranging ladder matches by ELO (rated: ××××)
Would be useful if the active battle tab was rearranged from highest ELO to lowest ELO.

Hey I'm not sure if this is already suggested but I wanna suggest the ability to move the room tabs left and right just like you moving your internet tabs left and right might be a good tool to utilize. This is so that the most frequent rooms I want to leave open but access the most I can leave them at the left hand side or right hand side of my screen.

also drag & drop works on chrome (not sure about other browsers)

- Mobile app (we'll make the web app better and more mobile-app-like, but a real mobile app is not happening)

- ability to /ignorepms of a user while still seeing their messages in chatrooms (especially helpful with roomauth)
- Implement a more advanced find-a-user system, ie. search that allows you to see all usernames that have the specific word mentioned in it.
- ability to type /clear into a pm box and just clear all pms from that user as opposed to /clearpms clearing them from every user
- Notifications when a user goes offline/comes online
- group pms
- Allow modnotes to highlight staff members (potentially including "/hl add, notes:" for highlights for any notes.)

- ability to see the full tour name on mobile, as it is currently blocked by user count

In regards to the display issues with pokemon gifs, can there instead be an option to use still images of the models?

*sidenote, I don't know if it's a crazy coincidence or what, but immediately after installing Stylish to get smogon's dark mode, the gifs actually started working again, and automatically switched back to being gifs instead of the gen 5 sprites

That's because your Chrome browser updated. Chrome 64 was bugged, which lead to the gifs malfunctioning
 
There should be a W/L ratio next to every team you create and use. Not only would it be a nice feature, but it could be the new screenshots people take when posting a team to RMT.
 
Please shift blaziken from ubers to OU and you may ban it's move baton pass to be used by it. Not every blaziken is used for baton passing speed. Thank you
