I talked to Earthworm about this, and, since byes don't work with the double elimination format, I am keeping this open for one more day or until we have 128 entrants, whichever comes first. If, after a day, we don't have 128 entrants, this will be a 64-person tournament. I don't want to exclude so many people, so please sign up! (Exactly eight people have been excluded so far because they did not post their signups correctly and didn't send in their teams; I counted everyone who didn't post properly but sent in their teams because I care less about the rule than I care about including people who know how the format works. So that won't be enough for 128. If you made a mistake, just send in your teams or repost.)
