Well, I was but a wee lad surfing Serebii and happened upon some videos of LC and I thought it looked sweet as hell and found a link in someone's signature to the LCF (Little Cup Forum), where I asked for help/tips for breeding and EVing a LC team. I was introduced to Doug's CaP Server and became hooked quickly. I ended up becoming staff just because I was clearly more committed to the metagame, as lame as that sounds.Gagardevoir said:

Superman opens his fortress using a giant key so large that no earthly creature has the might to lift it. Superman doesn't lose fights. Martian Manhunter, Plastic Man, and Hal with Parallax are the only things on Earth that could even come close to fucking him up, and he can probably burn J'onn and trap Plas somewhere. I don't like using Pory in LC anymore, not since Agility+Download became illegal (a long while ago). It's a tossup between Elekid and Croagunk for Gen 4. Those two are definitely my MVPs of the generation and appear on nearly every team. Elekid just barely gets an extra point for being cute as shit compared to ugly pos gunk. Oh, and Vahna is up there.
In gen 5, I really enjoyed using Krow and Vahna. I guess these days I liked Gastly because he was always one of my favorites and isn't too bad. Diglett, actually, I just remembered has been on most of my teams since late Gen IV and has rarely let me down. So, he's probably my overall favorite to play with between the two gens.

Urgh, it's the same thing as the Misdreavus ban (imo equivalent to Mence in OU) in Gen IV. When there is a big (BAN ME PLEASE) in the metagame, it takes a lot more thinking and prediction. You can't auto pilot against a Carvahna or a Gligar, you need to play and read your opponent. I'm actually blown away that Missy and Medi got banned in particular, considering you actually get to see your opponent's team before the battle even begins. There's a few things I like about Smogon. I like a lot of the people here, and I think Smogon is overall a great community. If I could hand-of-god change something, I would become an smod so I could edit goldenknight and dracoyoshi's avatars freely, and take over social groups without needing to use greatsage. If that wasn't an option, I would want more exposure for Ubers, VGC, and LC, since all three are less popular than OU/UU but are metagames that already exist in the cartridges or are officially sanctioned. Ubers is just the default mode for Pokemon, VGC is the official format, and LC is usually included in Stadium-style games and iirc is an option for a battle type in the carts.Emma said:

This is strictly untrue. LC originated in Pokemon Stadium 2, which came out overseas when I was 10 or so. If you mean bringing it to Smogon, you're still wrong. eric the espeon and Mr. Happy (now known as hellmonkey) made the LCF.
