As Cyclost-Dusknoir permeated into Musclestrike-Conkeldurr's body, completing the conversion, Flamestrike could only stare in grim determination at the newly renamed Krusty lumbered forward with veins bulging to burst of necronomoronic powers. Nevertheless, the light in him would not have him harm a comrade until the very last moment, and Axetrike-Haxorus had the same thought in mind, so using the ground as cover, the dragon Dug his way out of Krusty-Conkeldurr's heavy Punches, attempting to wake his former comrade to a clearer mind.

Determined to wake his old protege from this pupeteering nightmare, Glacierstrike-Mamoswine Dug up some Rocks to scatter all around the sanctuary. Krusty-Conkeldurr's fists were lighting up on Fire at that point, but all of a sudden his Punch went slightly off the mark as memories of Musclestrike-Conkeldurr flooded his mind......

Of Musclestrike when he was a Timburr, watching Glacierstrike-Mamoswine digging and carving up slabs of granite as gravestones for the fallen heroes amongst the paladins...

Of Glacierstrike-Mamoswine crashing icicle after icicle at him, training his strength, his reaction, his constitution, and his belief in the forces of light and purity as he breaks each adamantine shard with his bare hands...

Of the wrestling matches between them, Musclestrike the Gurdurr grasping Glacierstrike-Mamoswine's tusks, learning when, not how, to use his strength and that of his opponent to his advantage as each of them tries to topple the other...

Of the journey up the Vast Mountains, Glacierstrike-Mamoswine's ancestral lands, to find, and earn, by trial of strength, the very pair of granite slabs Musclestrike-Conkeldurr is using as a weapon...

The bulging veins upon the Conkeldurr's motionless body pulsed, as Musclestrike fought back against rickheg's evil mind control. Seizing the opportunity, Glacierstrike-Mamoswine fired three Ice Shards in quick succession, the first two aimed at his protege's ears to knock out the earpiece, the third shattering the console of the tainted Link Cable. All of a sudden, relief at release from the dark, as well as horror at what he had done to Axestrike-Haxorus, passes fleetingly through Musclestrike-Conkeldurr's eyes, before he slumped, passed out again.

Glacierstrike-Mamoswine glared at the expelled Cyclost-Ducknoir and snorted, righteous fury filling his stature as he prepares to do battle with the real forces of evil....

Much too weakened by the exorcism, rickheg had Cyclost-Dusknoir retreated, calling forth a berserker Surt-Pyroak into battle. Glacierstrike-Mamoswine tried Digging under to maneuver himself to a more favourable position behind the wooden-clad salamander, but Surt-Pyroak had his tail wrapped around an Iron Ball... As Glacierstrike-Mamoswine surfaces, his opponent launches a heavy tail lash, before following up with double roundhouse swings from his arms in a devastating Blackthorn Crashing move!

Chips flown off Glacierstrike-Mamoswine's battle-worn tusks as he struggles to keep his footing, but catching an opportunity to keep going, the palladin warboar sets up a mirror on Surt-Pyroak, whose Blitz strike weakens at the Reflection of a fellow berserker, thinking he might've misaimed a comrade in battle. But even so, the damage has been done. All Glacierstrike-Mamoswine can hope to do now, is to buy enough time for his brothers to retreat in safety, and he is prepared to give everything within his old bones for it...
