I will say people claiming passive only roles is suspicious. You are basically vanilla if you only have a passive (although I guess AF targets someone every night). Which now means I tinfoil Joey lol

Doesn’t the presence of watchers add credibility to the passive-only claims, thinking about it? Being caught by a watcher in a last scum scenario because your safeclaim was only passive and you had to kill carry sounds… kinda bad.

I’m genuinely just thinking through the prospect of a scum having a passive-only safeclaim. Perhaps it’s fine if the slot is also a ninja, but otherwise I don’t think it’s a safe enough safeclaim.

celever is just a full doctor in a game where the most powerful nightly role we've seen yet was a redirector, the vig had a devil's contract attached, and everything else of value seems limited-use or otherwise restricted in some manner. on top of this, he played within his scum arguing meta fmpov during d2, defending an argument he could've easily dropped when pushed as d1 content.

laurel has literally not proven his role other than clouds saying that he got an immunity idol which ended up not even working. when it was literally the "why did laurel's bpv not work" as active convo, laurel demanded that he was mech cleared. ??

hyhy hasn't been playing like how i'd normally expect him to. i dunno why. him having flat 2 votes and seemingly nothing else seems strange when alice had like 3 different abilities. neon's backup role can be angleshot as scum given that a NL on d1 was mechanically more relevant than normal, giving mafia potentially more control on what they end up grabbing as an additional ability. joey is joey and i've been loosely suspicious of that slot already i think.

I’ve already said that my role isn’t unrestricted, but that communicating that restriction is anti-town asf tbf

And again, I defended the oligarchy stuff in the context of D1. This is mischaracterisation on multiple fronts

I also don’t understand your deal with “all the good roles have restrictions” because claims-wise only you and Shane have claimed to have integral restrictions. I have one restriction which is common for doctor and arguably just makes it the standard version of the role (ok second-most standard) and then the next closest thing to a restriction you can get is JOAT because it’s only one shots. There are reasons why you could case me and M2H as likely T/T and reasons why you could case us as likely T/S and I went into that today. I find the T/T case a bit likelier even if it’s difficult not to tinfoil M2H.

Voting Laurel is fine because high above rand chance that he’s scum but to jump on @bluedoom’s point which is true, scum!Hydro with town!Neon is essentially meaning we lose at +2. If Hydro’s scum we are currently in MYLO. So we just need to be treating Laurel as the MYLO vote that he is at least in a 50/50 sense, and the fact that a lot of the game is skating over this when a couple people have stated it repeatedly is huge cause for concern.
