What's Up?

I'm the new trainer on the block. I just Transferred from elounge. I just need a few ideas for teams. So far this is my team:
dpmfa409.png

Rampardos @ Focus Sash
Ability: Mold Breaker
Evs:169 Atk/ 100 Def/ 30 Spe
Adamant Nature
-Zen Headbutt
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
-Rock Polish
Rampardos was my main man. I gave it Choice Specs for a heavy defeat. I taught it Zen Headbutt against fighting types. Then I Taught it Stone Edge because Head smash damages a lot. The rest of the moves are to defend the team.
dpmfa130.png

Gyarados @ Expert Belt
Ability:Intimidate
Evs:206 Atk/ 192 Spe/ 6 Hp
Adamant Nature
-Earthquake
-Ice Fang
-Waterfall
-Dragon Dance
I figure if I teach it Ice fang, I could do big damage since Avalanche slows me down. Dragon Dnace was just to grow faster adn stronger to eliminate stuff like Sceptile. Earthquake was for Electric types and Waterfall was to get rid or rock types.
dpmfa461.png

Weavile @ Expert Belt
Ability: Pressure
Evs: 212 Spe/ 183 Atk/ 30 Def
Jolly Nature
-Ice Punch
-Brick Break
-Aerial Ace
-Night Slash
I needed a strong Ice move, so I taught it Ice punch through breeding. Brick Break was to get rid of rock and steel types. I taught it Aerial Ace in case I had a fighting type against me. Night Slash to take down tougher stuff life Gengar or Alakazam. I also gave it the Expert Belt to get more power against pokemon weak against its moves.
dpmfa389.png

Torterra @ Leftovers(Newly used. Been training it since Thursday afternoon on another game)
Ability: Overgrow
Evs: 145 Atk/ 190 Hp/ 202 Def/ 39 Spe
Impish nature
-Wood Hammer
-Rest
-Sleep Talk
-Stone Edge
With Wood Hammer, I can land many powerful hits. Leftovers can recover some of the hit points taken from Wood Hammer. Stone Edge is used to beat fire, bug, flying, and ice types and the rest/Sleeptalk combo should help us out just fine.
dpmfa468.png

Togekiss @ Wise Glasses
Ability: Serene Grace
Evs: 6 Hp/ 243 Sp Atk/ 102 Spe
Modest Nature
-Air Slash
-Grass Knot
-Hidden Power fire/ice
-Aura Sphere
I use Togekiss as a special sweeper. I taught it Air Slash to make enemies flinch and do serious damage and Aura Sphere to fight ice and rock types. Hidden Power and Grass Knot should help for a good defeat and protect most of my team.
dpmfa392.png

Infernape @ Life Orb
Abilty:Blaze
Evs: 252 Spe/ 252 Atk/ 6 Hp
Jolly Nature
-Thunder Punch
-Flare Blitz
-Close Combat
-Earthquake
He's my only perfectly ev trained pokemon on this team. With Thender Punch, Flying and Water types have a little chance against Infernape. Flare Blitz is its strongest, Close combat for others and Earthquake for much stronger stuff to prtect the team.

I just modified this team and made a few alterations. I just hope this new team is good. What do ya'll think?

I can tell you right now that quick claw is a bad choice. Relying on it's slim chance of having you strike first is too risky, and there are much better options for it (Like Choice Scarf,Band, Life Orb, expert belt)

Also, no one will ever want to play with you if use Quick Claw.

Ice Fang is superior to Avalanche on Gyarados. Avalanche decreases priority, and while Gyara is bulky he'd rather crush his enemies before they hit him.

dpmfa389.png

Torterra @ Leftovers
Ability: Overgrow
Evs:221 Atk/ 6 Hp/ 178 Def
Adamant nature
-Wood Hammer
-Crunch
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge/Synthesis
With Wood Hammer, I can land many powerful hits. Leftovers can recover some of the hit points taken from Wood Hammer. Earthquake and Stone Edge were used to beat poison, fire, bug, flying, and ice types and I'm confused which one between Crunch and Synthesis to choose.

Torterra doesn't want Adamant. You want Impish on him. Also, take out Crunch, and go with Stealth Rocks. Also, go with Leech Seed for a possible switch into Stealth Rocks. With the everyday Tyranitar, chances are you wont have clear skies long enough for Synthesis to count. EV's you want at 252 HP / 148 Attack / 108 Defense. With that, he can be a Physical Wall.

So, aim for this set:

Torterra @ Leftovers
Impish
Overgrow
252 HP / 148 Attack / 108 Defense
- Earthquake
- Wood Hammer
- Stealth Rock
- Leach Seed

I've been using this set for quite some time on my team, and it works awesome.

Do you mind checking out my team? It's called "I need rates. So does this team."

Okay, I could do this, but my friend said I should go for an Adamant Weavile since it already has so much speed. Should I go for a Jolly Weavile or an Adamant?

Your friend is wrong. Weavile should always be Jolly because it needs all the speed it can get. If Weavile was Adamant, it will never be able to outrun Gengar, Starmie, Azelf, and other Pokemon it should defeat.

Anyways, half of your items suck and so do your moves (like why does Weavile have Shadow Claw instead of Night Slash?). You also seem to have EV troubles, so go read Smogon's Pokemon analysis by using the search bar at the top of this page. Read them carefully and listen to them. Don't listen to your friends anymore, lol.

Well, what did you change? Surely, you must've updated it a lot considering all the mistakes we pointed out.

I'm the new trainer on the block. I just Transferred from elounge. I just need a few ideas for teams. So far this is my team:
dpmfa409.png

Rampardos @ Quick Claw
Ability: Mold Breaker
Evs:169 Atk/ 100 Def/ 30 Spe You'll seriously want to fix these EVs.
Adamant Nature
-Zen Headbutt
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
-Iron Tail
Rampardos was my main man. I gave it quick Claw for a quick defeat. I taught it Zen Headbutt against fighting types. Then I Taught it Stone Edge because Head smash damages a lot. The rest of the moves are to defend the team.

Quick claw is against item clause, if I remember correctly. Change it to either a life orb or a choice band/scarf. Also, iron tail covers nothing that EQ and Edge don't. Change it to crunch. (If Rampardos can; I tend to forget its movepool.)

dpmfa130.png

Gyarados @ Expert Belt
Ability:Intimidate
Evs:206 Atk/ 192 Spe/ 6 Hp You're not even using all your EVs!
Adamant Nature
-Earthquake
-Avalanche
-Waterfall
-Dragon Dance
I figure if I teach it Avalanche, I could do big damage even though I have to wait after my opponent. Dragon Dnace was just to grow faster adn stronger to eliminate stuff like Sceptile. Earthquake was for Electric types and Waterfall was to get rid or rock types.

Avalanche does not help Gyrados, especially with DD. Change it to ice fang.

dpmfa461.png

Weavile @ Scope Lens .......
Ability: Pressure
Evs: 212 Spe/ 183 Atk/ 30 Def Seriously, you have leftover EVs!
Jolly Nature
-Ice Punch
-Brick Break
-X-Scissor
-Shadow Claw
I needed a strong Ice move, so I taught it Ice punch through breeding. Brick Break was to get rid of rock and steel types. I taught it Brick Break and Shadow Claw to take down tougher stuff life Gengar or Regigigas. I also gave it the Scope lens to get bigger chances of landing a critical hit.

Scope lens? Relying on an unreliable variable will cost you the match 89% of the time. Change to choice band/scarf. Ice punch is forgiveable, but you might want to consider ice shard. (Especially if you are going to give the Weavile a choice band) X-scissor and shadow claw?! You seem to want a critical hit Weavile, but that is a horrible set in general. Change x-scissor to pursuit (If learnable by Weavile) and shadow claw to a filler move.

dpmfa389.png

Torterra @ Leftovers
Ability: Overgrow
Evs:221 Atk/ 6 Hp/ 178 Def ...... This is painful.
Synthesis gives little HP at best, crunch isn't useful on Torterra because most Pokemon worth using it on out-speed it, wood hammer should be seed bomb, anc it should have an impish nature. Give it it seed bomb, stealth rock, and leech seed instead.

dpmfa468.png

Togekiss @ Wise Glasses
Ability: Serene Grace
Evs: 6 Hp/ 243 Sp Atk/ 102 Spe Have you finished EV training your pokemon, or is this their current EVs?
Modest Nature
-Air Slash
-Wish
-Yawn
-Aura Sphere
I use Yawn first thing togekiss is out and then use wish to recover. I taught it Air Slash to make enemies flinch and do serious damage and Aura Sphere to fight ice and rock types.

If you're going for a special sweeper, then you can't have yawn and wish. Give it choice specs and replace yawn and wish with grass knot and hidden power: ice/fire.

dpmfa392.png

Infernape @ Life Orb
Abilty:Blaze
Evs: 252 Spe/ 252 Atk/ 6 Hp ??? This makes no sense whatsoever.....
Pretty good.

I just need to modify some stuff. My Evs are incomplete and their all on in their 70's except Rampardos, its in its 50's. I just need help from any one.

Also, Aragorn, could you RMT?
