He was there for the claim and to interact directly with m2h. I do think players should be held to individual standards which is why i think he isn't town here.

Alright maybe I should try to reread your argument. I don't see how im being overly defensive. I think/thought lechen is town. The claim spew doesn't really change my opinion on that.
Anyways activity might falter a bit from me bc I'm at a career camp or whatever for like a month. (The alternative was getting a job for the entire summer.)

Time to try to explain my thinkingIt's going to be difficult, to be honest with you, this game is more complicated than I thought, but I'm doing my best to try to understand it. Don't hesitate to vote for me anyway if it turns out to be the best option. Obviously, I would prefer not to be voted out, but due to my inexperience, if you see that I'm not contributing enough and it's what you need to do, go ahead, I won't blame you.
Ok, I want to start by defending myself against the suspicions I raised about myself to Flandrs and anyone else who thinks similarly.
I know it looks quite suspicious that I defended M2H once he was already voted out. However, I had already clarified my stance in this post #379. I mentioned that I would not participate in that vote because I didn't have enough evidence against anyone. Moreover, I gave this notice in time, as only about 3 or 4 people had voted at that point.
Pulsar tagged me near the deadline, and I wasn't present. The next day, I wanted to explain what happened (my post expressing condolences and apologizing to M2H) mainly as something anecdotal. I think that given the context and because I warned in time that I wouldn't participate in the vote, this is not an indication that I am Mafia. I simply shared it as something anecdotal because it seemed too much of a coincidence that I had a slight suspicion of M2H. So, the fact that my reasoning for not voting was correct, at least for me, felt like an achievement that I made the right decision, and I wanted to share that.

Now I will talk about something that could be the most criminal thing in this whole mafia game, my reads...
Well, I've been writing and deleting things for about 20 minutes because I still don't have enough evidence to determine who is Mafia. I was going to mark those who incited voting on day 1 as slightly suspicious, but I eventually realized it would have been impossible not to vote for anyone.
First of all, I must clarify that, honestly, I don't trust anyone xD. This game, as I said before, is much more complex than I thought. But even so, I will share the little I've reflected on and what I'm most certain about. However, anything I say here is just my initial impression, and I hope to have the time to confirm everything during the course of the game. (As I was finishing and rereading my post, I realized that my reads are indeed quite bad, but they are my honest reads. I apologize if you don't like them or find them unhelpful.)
From what I've read, Cloud is the one who inspires the most confidence in me. I think all his messages are very logical and well-reasoned.
AngryPidgeon inspires less confidence in me than Cloud, but still some confidence, for the same reasons.
Pulsar, who seemed worried about the voting, also inspires a bit of confidence in me.
I don't really know what to think about Flandrs. I also see him posting very logical and reasonable things. I'll expand on this at the end of the post.
Skipper and Dusk give me bad vibes, but I wouldn't be able to explain exactly why. (It's very suspicious of me to say this, I know, but I really can't explain it.)
DBD, I really believe he's on a trip. It doesn't seem very worthwhile to lie about that. If I were Mafia, I wouldn't have taken Public Vanilla as a role in the pregame. In another Mafia format, this role would be very reliable and 100% secure as town. But here it seems to be a role that provides as much security as uncertainty. If I were Mafia, I wouldn't have taken this role because it's a lottery. Small disclaimer, I don't know if I understood the Mafia mechanics correctly, but they have a certain balance of credits that increases or decreases during the game. As I understand it, they could have started with 3 members and recruited a 4th later? Because if that's how it works, I think it would have been convenient for them not to recruit him yet and see what impression he generates, then recruit him if it's worth it. (I don't know if it works that way.)
AliceKazumi: Oh Alice, my read on Alice is complicated because she's the only person I casually interact with outside of Smogon. I know she's very intelligent, her posts are quite good and all, but I still don't fully trust her. I feel like it could all be a trap. She always shows me kindness whenever she mentions me. I don't know if this is because she's my friend or because it's really all part of her evil plan. But I would say she is town for now.
Lechen seems like a good guy to me, but I can't argue too much either.
I don't have a read on the rest that is even half as ambiguous as Lechen's. So, I can't say anything for now.

Phew, well, time to explain how I feel in general from my perspective.
I clarified that I'm new to this forum in general and even more so to Mafia games. I'm playing the role of the novice, and it's interesting to observe everyone's behavior towards me. There are both people who keep a close watch on me and attack when they feel I've said something strange, and those who defend me for being a newbie.
An example of someone who keeps a very close watch on me is Flandrs. This makes me think that he is someone committed to the game and not afraid to vote for me. I believe going against the new player without much evidence is not something a Mafia member would do. If I were Mafia, I would be more concerned about the experienced players.
On the other hand, there were people who showed me mercy, some clarifying it would only be for D1, and others extending it a bit longer. All of this makes me very paranoid, but I would say that those who take me so lightly might be following the line of thought I mentioned earlier. I mean the thought of "oh, Ecat is new, he's harmless, let's let him be happy, I don't think he can interfere with our plans." But it could also mean they are excellent people who want to let me play and learn the game, so I don't know. But AngryPidgeon showed a lot of kindness towards me, good guy. (or an excellent liar)

Anyway, a little closing note, I APOLOGIZE FOR MAKING SUCH A LONG POST. The reason is that I haven't been playing Mafia well. It's the typical situation where you leave your homework for later, and then everything piles up. I've made very few posts, so now I have to put everything into one to make up for my few messages.
I'll try to keep up and post more frequently, but it's not something that's easy for me yet, haha, I still have a lot to learn. I just realized this today.

And given that I went OFF on Duskfall, and you still think DBD/Dusk are scummy you apparently think I'm bussing out of my mind this game. Or you don't think that, but you haven't made it clear.
Clouds Remind me what you think of Flandrs? I really truly can't tell where his mind is this game. Some things he says feel less than genuine to me. I was hoping Id feel better about flandrs as time passed but I kind of dont. IDK if hes scum on a team with DBD/Dusk here but it could be given the Lechen push.

Could be a difference in mindset but kind of feels like hes distancing from his internal feelings on lechen to hide behind his "case". Im sure some people won't get what's wrong with that, and it could just be a mindset diff, but I grow increasingly sus on flandrs.

Mafia seem to be in a good spot as of now, both wagons D1 being townies worries me quite a bit
Also the counterwagon on me d1 + suspicion d2 seems to be why mafia gave me a BPV, I mean it makes logical sense to give it to the person most likely to be mislynched

The DbD BV claim has merit, I think it goes without saying that if anyone else got one THEY SHOULD CLAIM SO.
Giving out BV's as scum is pretty much necessary if they got a 4th recruit, there's also odds that they went for Faith Healer(s), in which case they'd need to get their creds back up as soon as they can.
I think there's still chances that DbD could be scum and lying, but if we're going purely off of a mechanical vote, there might be merit in bunching Neighborizer, Fruit Vendor and Gladiator with him. (all roles that are 0 or +1 points)

There's not much I REALLY want to say about the rest of your post beyond just that you're handing out TRs way too easily especially to the lesser-effort players. I'd prefer that you keep your mind more open, especially to your 'NATO' towncore, because I think there's almost certainly a scum, maybe two within the 'group of low effort' of Alice, Ecat, Lechen, DBD, saber, and maybe skipper, and I don't think it's as simple as DBD being the one, because it's super easy for scum to blend into the group of people voting dbd just because of him being the pubnilla. Along these lines, I want everyone voting DBD JUST BECAUSE they're pubnilla to get a better reason (it's d2 ffs) or to make an effort to share their reasoning
I just don't get the claim that Vengeful is not a scummy role, even without jalmont's implementation it's an incredibly powerful scum role, since it can't be interfered with by faith healer or tracked (by tracker lmao) and with jalmont's implementation, it's a great role to keep out of town hands.
Pulsar read feels rather contradictory, like 'playing town who is having fun' does not coincide with 'produce good content from time to time' AND everything that happened around that EOD1. I might be reaching a little but eod pulsar just felt so WEIRD, I'm really not a fan.
i just don't like flandr's reasoning in general, it's a recurring problem so I don't want to read him off it, but he's so often aggressive over things that could reasonably come from both alignments, but im biased as fuck so i dont think I'm a good judge of whether his posts are tmi or just how he plays the game. I don't want to tr them because in retrospect, posts 15(not that strong), 205(tmi vibes), 216(really bad when combined with 15), 931(also could be tmi vibes but im less sure)
Gonna cool down on skipper as well, it could just be how they play the game, sorry for going as hard on you as I did yday.

Honestly I'm having a hard time trusting players as town this game. Out of the players that I mentioned in the first post I made this morning that could have pushed hard m2h as mafia flandrs was the most towny to me. Pulsar/duskfall were the ones that looked more scummy to me at the time.
