Paulluxx mocc mocc mocc ??? how about it lets do a mocc. I wanna spend big on my first two picks and then have literally no money to buy any players. Hey paulluxx who cares about ur friends we shuold do a mocc. That’s all i want. Paulluxx if we can’t do a mocc i don’t know how I can ever keep going. I need this mocc to feel alive. :gourgeist:Gensokyo Gourgeists: They have some of the best players in general, including some popular users even outside Pet Mods, considering the track record of both teams before the merge, definitely they aren't going to disappoint. However, they also were the team that spent a lot of money really early, limiting their options and number of players. Also let's not ignore that Runo got bought ridiculously cheap (4.5K) by them when anyone else could have also bidded higher.

:tropius:Tropius Incorporated: I'm slightly offended I went for 5.5K, but it's nice to be back on the team, the roster seems varied and should be capable of adapting to other teams, and the implications between the combo of me and Orangesodapop, who also went surprisingly cheap (6K), do seem interesting.

:dachsbun:Dave's Dachbuns: This roster embodies minmaxing as they have some really solid players and teambuilders, but also don't have much variety, so other teams could try to capitalize on that weakness, but on the other hand they can also use that to their advantage to counterteam accordingly, I sure love yomi layers!

:urshifu:Close Combat Comrades: They keep having some of the best players in Pet Mods, including several classics such as earl, Monai, and woo, and have the biggest roster of players as well, will they make it to grand finals and lose again, or win for once the PMPL? Find out in the next episode of Dragon Ball Z.

Jokes aside, this team may be new, but nothing should be understimated, they got strong players such as Lasen, Gravity Monkey, and the before-mentioned sealoo, and I feel they will provide a solid challenge to whoever they face.

:slugma:Slugma Haxballs: They have dex, Nashrock, and Copen, they may make honor to the team's name and cheese foes hard, so it is recommended to avoid using earl against them (anyone that was in the PMPL2 knows what I mean).

Team rankings time

Leaving my team of the rankings for obvious reasons. Concept did the one thing I asked of him to do, now it my time to pull my weight for the team. The only thing im gonna add, is that I am pretty happy with my choices.

1 - Daves' Dachsbuns :dachsbun:
The daves could very well just drop 100k before the draft on retains alone and they would still have the strongest team in the tournament. The core of Xrn, SEA and Monai alone makes them extremely terrifying, and even though they were absolutely gutted of some of their past champions during the draft their team remains solid with some really interesting additions like Hellom, clean, bp, and Lostmemories. Thankfully they have been nerfed in several ways which include: 1) Drafting certain cancerers, 2) Having their strongest player permabanned, 3) having 4-5 different tiers from the previous format to learn about. Still, this will be one of the strongest teams around in an iteration of the pmpl which is already the one with the strongest teams around.

2 - Gensokyo Gourgeists :Gourgeist:
We all know them, we all like to laugh at them, the gourgs are back for a third time. Despite being clowned for quickly losing their money, as well as paying a ridiculous amount of money for people like Zxgzxg, the gourgs have a extremely solid draft this time around. It combines petmod regulars like Zxgzxg, Ana, Beaf, and Clas with solid players like Justdrew, Smudge, Fluore and Tycarter. It is a prefectly balanced team that plays around balancing building expertice with good play rather than just prioritising the latter, and looks like a solid team. Will the gourgs finally get past their semis curse? Or will the increased power level of the teams make this team into nothing but a joke again?

3 - Close Combat Comrades :Urshifu:
Was gonna place this team a bit higher but Paul went to Tropius chat to begin the shittalk on the tropius chat so im just gonna leave them here as they are. The comrades attempted to pull a strategy similar to the daves and blow out their budget on selfbuys/retains. I would argue however, that they didn't do as good a job as the gourgs or the daves did. Paul, Mossy and Iso are a strong core, but one way more limited in the tiers they handle. Moreover, while they got amazing support in people like Earl or Rezzo, they just reinforce tiers they were already good on. Players like OLK, Feen and Tack might have what it takes to keep up with the competition, but other than that this team seem hyperfocus in just a couple of tiers to get wins on.

4 - Slugma Haxballs :Slugma:
After a good run in the solomod pl, the slugmas have entered the competition in the bigger leagues of the PMPL. Make no mistake, even though Im putting them way below other teams I definitely see the potential in this team. They have a lot of strong players like Dex, Goldmason, Nashrock and baddy among others, perhaps even TDNT despite looking like a cancer slot due to the pricetag. This team's shortcomings happen to be on the side of building, as neither the managers and only a few players like copen are capable of building the tiers. If the players do their best to learn the tiers of the PMPL im pretty confident they could have what it takes to get the win in the PMPL.

5 - Fast and Furrets :furret:
Remember when I said all teams looked pretty strong? Yeah I think this is the exception. The team has some very weak synergy between the players and generally lack builders outside of people like Hydreigonthechild. They also paid excessive amounts of money on people like Lasen and Tanny that while good, aren't exactly the type of players you pay much money on during a draft. In general this team looks pretty inconsitent and I would't be surprised if it happens that they have a very weak Pl.
