Nothing like waking up in the morning with fresh hatred. I apologize that I mistakenly forgot to include logs for maximum toxicity, I shall mend my mistake rn.
Week 1: River builts the team, good. I make her a couple of questions just to make sure she has gotten the jist of the tier, could i have worded this better. Later when in scheduling we beg her to post her scheduling with Goldmason, she doesn't, and I mistakenly let her dg since it was late and week was lost, whatever. Apparently this is where she began to believe I wouldn't be able to help her, even though I told the team multiple times they can test with me whenever, and many of them did.
i know my manager is going to be zero help as far as the tier is concerned, but thats fine i'll still prep in a diff cord and play tests.
Keep this line in mind, there's a comedic twist incoming for the next weeks.
Week 2 miraculously, and for the first and last time, she schedules properly against SEA, and reuses the team she made the first team, 0 complaints here.
Week 3, more problems in paradise.
prepped week 3 in a diff cord, posted test games in team cord. won gg, clean.
The following are the replays / test games violet posted during the entirity of week 3:
However, credit where credit is due, she did build a team, which would be great hadn't she ignored calls to post her scheduling and instead rfns Rezzo. I was stressed out because of her antics, but still believe she could be relied upon, after all, it was mostly fault of rezzo not giving her a good time, even if she never notified us about it.
Week 4, oh boy, here's were stuff got messy. The situation between lice and river was somewhat similar to rezzo, and now that im not mad about it I can recognise the times were not her fault. What was her fault however:
week 4 had prepped in a diff cord
If said team was built and ready then she made no effort to let the team know (and she had built something according to her, but she didn't post it nor said anything about it during the whole week), which was annoying since she had posted her teams at the beginning of the week all those previous times. So friday rolls around, lice answers her late which is admitedly not her fault, however, managers didn't contact me friday night as she claims, It was me who contacted managers on sunday (giving her an entire day to answer to her opponent) because in the entirity of the week she had shown no activity and I needed to prepare to sub her out should something happen. Concept notifies me that river was active and had talked to her, I tried reaching out to her in dms, hoping she would respond.
She does not, which forces my hand to replace her with one of our subs, the chosen one being Jeoz. Given that he played well and was willing to be active I decided to slot him week 5, a change of pace from River but I believe I can make it work since River seem a bit busy these weeks. Literally the moment I post the lineup River responds for the first time since wednesday and its to complain.
Ofc the perma online part of this message is pretty funny given that she failed to do the minimum required of a team tour player, but even more comedic is that
this is how I find out she was in another teamcord. Again, to our knowledge River had just built the teams, done nothing throught the week and then fought her matches without ever testing. She thought that I was subbing her out for being in another teamcord when in reality she was the one who snitched on herself. And again, being in another teamcord doesn't matter the rest of the team had test games with players from other teams. But to the team's perspective she was a just a cancer slot who barely communicated with the team or her opponents, and didn't test the teams or do any practice with them.
Again, it was my fault as a manager that we didn't get semis, but that doesn't excuse this type of miscommunication. I get that this tournament isn't the most important thing in the world or whatever, but the fact that this is not the first time this player has done this just shows that they are a nuisance to the teams they form part with.
