I had +1 Speed on turn 10, and it moved before my Thunderclap on turn 13
Sorry, I did not see the full replay, my mistake.
I do now see this in the turn you outspeed Ausma: [DEBUG] priority charge callback: sigilsstorm.
However, it does indeed look like a priority move, I have no idea why is that, maybe a new update.

Ok I found something that may be our answer. I don't exactly know how to read code, but I found this

From what I can infer, if item is lost, it gains +1 in priority, which would explain the interaction.

Yeah, that’s kinda what I figured. It’s very frustrating that we haven’t received any new patch notes or guide update to let us know that though.

If it helps, this was the intended behavior of the move since the set was created in early 2023. 65 BP, doubled BP with item but destroys the item and has priority 0, with +1 priority if the user is not holding an item and no power boost.

Drifting gets replaced by Treasure Bag instead of switching with it.

Also I don't think the Blast Seed damage nerf is enough, but maybe this month's win rates will prove me wrong.
If anything the Aurora Veil should've been turned into a chance to summon either Reflect or Light Screen. It's still going to be an annoying little rat that can spread paralysis and set screens with relative safety with Fake Out whike having ways to wear down the sole type it can't flinch.

Same issue goes for Bert tbh, the combination of Shatter & Scatter and its ability is way too punishing to face. Either you hit on S&S and end up crippled in some way while the opponent switches in completely safely (not unlike Shed Tail in that regard) at the mercy of any setup opportunity, or you switch or use a self-targeting status move and risk getting Confused/losing your STABS and/or item/getting moves disabled. You can't even switch Ironwater or Coolcodename into it because that 40% accurate Knock Off is chipping them bad. At this point you're switching whatever mon would suffer the least from those restrictions, and there aren't many. Snake, Yuki and Pastor Gigas can deal with it fine, I can't think of much else.

I forgot to grab the replay but Grass Gaming is bounceable, even though it is a damage-dealing Special move and not Status. It got bounced by Magic Aura.

I think I found a bug .
When two Quag to the Past's were opposite each other, and we both used Sire Switch, the second one failed (likely because the move is also protect). We then both attacked each other the next turn, and the turn after that, I switched out into Frostyicelad, and the opponent also used Sire Switch (which once again failed, again probably due to the protect component ). The move then failed when I used Spiky puffy destruction.

Upon looking through the patch notes, I've found that Spiky Puffy destruction used to also give the effect of protect, yet it was removed in an update. It could be that the effect was removed yet it still retains the classification (idk what to call it) of a protect move, making all moves with protect effects fail.

Protect moves don't make other protect moves fail. What happens is a protect move will fail if the user is the last to move that turn, because there is nothing left to protect against. Protect moves have +4 priority, so they go before most other moves, therefore they'll normally only be last if all other Pokémon were faster and also used protect moves. Spiky Puffy Destruction does indeed still have +4 priority leftover from when it was a protect move, so it is able to go before Sire Switch.

I just want to say I'm really happy with the top kek change where it skips over the Treasure Bag stage instead of triggering it. It not only reduces yeet dab xd's power level but also requires more strategic thinking since you have to weigh whether cycling faster is worth skipping over the next stage.

I haven't met any of the new mons yet sadly...

Update is here!

Not sure if dhemise's innate ability is supposed to say this as part of flavor or it lacks a description.

The real description is supposed to be "before using EMP, gain 1 stage evasion and take 3/4 damage, but deal 1/2 damage." But I don't know if it's actually implemented, as you can see in this replay where I played against it: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9superstaffbrosultimate-2331247276?p2, i don't think that was half dmg on turn 1 lol

Why exactly were Rumia (not in the patch notes, but now gets +2 SpA instead of +1) Quite Quiet, and Solaris and Lumaris buffed? All three of these Pokemon were already decently strong with sweeping opposing teams, and buffing Rumia simply makes it even harder for the opponent to switch in a special attacking Pokemon. Now Solaris and Lumaris can outspeed other boosted Pokemon and is probably now the fastest Pokemon in the tier, outspeeding Vistar, Karthik, and Mega Beedrill (forgot its name).

I think the newest patch just now is a godsend for balance. It simply doesn't get more fair than Fox only, no items. Bravo to the development team!
