NOC Town of Salem 2 Mafia: Revival - WON BY THE MAFIA AND THE WITCH

who killed roxie? according to dbd watch, either roxie herself, alice, or a third party (general use definition, not the maf one) godfather

assuming roxie self-targeted with mafkill:
- this means alice is the janitor
- maf cannot/has no reason to do so. thus she must have been transported
- with who? hydro claims transported. des claims transporter on dbd and roxie, but it failed due to target already being transported, which from what i can tell isn't a thing so des is lying anyways?? des121 please reread your results are you sure that's the reason your transport failed?. dbd claims they were not transported.
Possible scenarios:
- Hydro was the intended kill and was transported with roxie. des transported the two and is lying for unknown reasons. Alice is the janitor.
- Hydro was the intended kill and was transported with roxie. A non-des, unclaimed transported the two. des is either lying for unknown reasons or is telling the truth but misinterpreted how they got blocked. Alice is the janitor.
- DBD was the intended kill and was transported with roxie. Hydro is either hypnotized, transported by a different transporter or lying. des transported the two and is lying about action failing. Alice is the janitor.
- A third person was the intended kill and was transported with roxie. Hydro is either hypnotized, transported by a different transporter or lying. des is either lying for unknown reasons or is telling the truth but misinterpreted how they got blocked. Alice is still the janitor.

assuming alice killed roxie:
- this means roxie is the janitor
- maf cannot/has no reason to kill their janitor. thus she must have been transported
- with who? see above
Scenarios are same as above list

assuming a godfather killed roxie:
- this means either roxie or alice is the janitor
Scenarios where roxie is the janitor are same as above list
- if alice is the janitor
Possible scenarios:
- A godfather and Alice targeted roxie with their actions, and roxie died as expected. The des/Hydro/DBD situation is totally separate from the nightkill.
- A godfather and Alice targeted someone else with their actions, and roxie died. Roxie was not the intended target and was transported. See first list for possible scenarios.

Oh my bad I think I didn't read that message properly.

Then that means that 2 transporters exist? That's the only thing I get from des message.

Transporter can't be controlled or roleblocked.

Honestly I don't see why DBD would he be mafia/third party n1 kill when he unfortunately has been one of the most mislyncheable players in NOC.

Does it work like this scenario if hydro is telling the truth?

- Des transports Roxie and DBD
- Transporter 2 transports DBD and Hydro?? Roxie and Hydro?? It has to be one in common to cause that I believe.
- DBD who targeted roxie was swapped to himself and then to hydro so he got hydro watch results.
- I targeted roxie which swapped to dbd and then to hydro so I got hydro investigator results.
- Janitor targeted hydro that was swapped to dbd and then to roxie
- Killer targeted hydro that was swapped to dbd and then to roxie.
- Roxie targeted one of DBD or Hydro.

The thing is why would HH get the transported message but not DBD. Maybe because he ended up in the same place? And the failed message on des doesn't make sense with this theory. The priority list tells that all transporters are the same

I can't be the janitor. If dbd targeted roxie he couldn't be seeing roxie watch results he would be see the results he was targeted into and I was on the same watch target which means my target didn't die.

I'm coming around to Des's claim that her transport failed because one of her targets was already transported, because the mechanics make total sense once you make that assumption. But that rule is still not listed in the setup so my question really is, is that a mechanic or not? I asked Ehmcee but haven't gotten a response yet

But it's so so weird because
a) does the mechanic exist?
b) why did des strongly imply that her transport worked for quite a while?

I'm confused on why there would be a mechanism in the rules for breaking ties in role priority - what other interactions would this mechanic even affect other than multiple transporters?
