can you use a UU pokemon to do a late-game sweep in an OU match, provided the UU pokemon isn't crappy?
Yes. It's a gimmick set, though, so don't expect it to work often.
It doesn't, and it's called hard resetting.
Just look in the "Contributions and Corrections" part of the forums and use the search function in there. That way, you'll also find exactly what part of competitive battling you want to know (EV-training, team building, etc) and you'll never have to use this thread again *wink wink cough cough*.

So then I googled image searched Prasle and I still got Plusle stuff.

Wikipedia says that Prasle was its original Japanese name.
In Japanese, L and R are the same letter.

there are instructions on that page on how to use it.
Only works for wild pokemon and legends, doesn't work for events and hatched pokemon. The info on checking hatched pokemon may be available on internet but its mostly knowledge and experience acquired by certain people like raikou and yamipoli. Nobody hack checks on smogon anymore so try to use common sense while trading.

you cant use bl pokemon in uu
If they are bred pokemon only a person like goodbar or raikou could do it, otherwise use pAC.
And no, you can't use BL on UU, BL it's not even a tier just a distinction of which pokemon are too powerful for UU.
Does Lugia care about Speed at all?
From what I remember 204 Speed with a 31 Speed IV reaches 307 Speed outspeeding Kyogre, Groudon, and Dialga by one point. So you could Ice Beam Groudon and Roost off damage before Groudon, Dialga, and Kyogre hit you with a few super effective attacks.
Speed is vital to Lugia. He'd be seeing a lot less use if he couldn't Roost off Groudon's Stone Edge or Kyogre's Thunder amongst other attacks. From a quick glance at the analysis, you can see that the primary "Great Wall" set uses 204 speed EVs, whereas the secondary set uses a Timid nature and 176 speed EV's.
How does Focus Sash on a Shedinja work? Assume that my opponent only has one pokemon on him and that Shedinja is my only pokemon. Shedinja is holding the Focus Sash, and my opponent only has attacks that are super-effective against Shedinja. Would the Focus Sash give me an invincible Shedinja, or would it activate the first time and then fail to activate afterwards?
