February tour nights schedule is up! We would like to congratulate Darkshowl and SabaSwordBK for winning January's tournights!

The laddering competition saw enough activity where now it will become a monthly event for the Monotype room. It will always begin on the 1st of each month and ends at 11:59pm (-5) on the last day of the month. Each month the ladder alt will be randomized and the top ladderer will receive the rank (^) room prizewinner in Monotype for the month.

This account's registration date must be at earliest the first day of the month. You must prefix your account name with the tag: SCBD in order for your account to qualify. The prefix of the laddering competition will be randomized each month as well.

Acceptable:
OFTD Rio Vidal

Unacceptable:
Rio Vidal OFTD

This is separate from other Monotype Room Events and so is the prize.
You do not need to signup for the event, I will check the ladder at the end of the month for the winner.
Just to make it clear, this alt is for the [Gen 9] Monotype Ladder. Good luck and happy laddering!!
 
Tour nights is getting a revamp!
Because STAB, AAA, and Ubers will not have support in Monotype OMs, they are dropped in Monotype tour nights. Because of that, there will be more slots for oldgen monotype, with at least 2 tours of each old gen per week! The new schedule is shown below:​

Congratulations to Wincon for winning the 2nd edition of the Monotype Rising Set with Bulky Wisp Darkrai (Dark) and thank you to the passionate builders who shared their sets and the voters who took the time to elect the Rising Set of the month!

As promised, the set will be uploaded on SmogDex and be featured in the Monotype Room :) Wincon will also receive the roomprize rank ^.

Congrats to ltranc (FLO3 Sussy Baka) for winning this months laddering competition! For the month of June there will not be a room laddering competition, instead we would like to encourage everyone to participate in MLT!

Good evening everyone! As officially of today, I have been approved for a fun innovative way to bring the community together in alternative ways thanks to our lovely forum and discord leads! As of today I am officially starting Monotype OM Community streaming nights!

These will be held within the Monotype OM discord about 1 - 2 times per week to bring everyone together to enjoy each other and the community we continue to grow. I will be streaming games with the preferred time by YOU! YES, YOU! Polls will be held weekly on the days I decide to host the streaming events! Tomorrow, Sunday 08/10, will be our first one. Poll is currently up in the MonotypeOM room now and will end as soon as I wake up tomorrow. Come swing by and enjoy some fun! And if you, the player, has the game that I will be streaming, you are encouraged to join me on it as well! I'd love to spend quality time with the people who make this community great!

Good afternoon!


The original poll for the time for community streaming night consisted of 9pm-4, 10pm-4, and 11pm -4 to be more respectful to our asia timezone friends! And 9pm took the crown for tonight's stream!

And unfortunately I have to applaud yall. I don't get to be scared again this time around for the stream. However I get to brace myself for impact. Tonight's game voted on was Marvel Rivals. The stream will begin approximately 5 minutes before, and the games will begin at 9pm -4 tonight! See you there!
