Legends tell of a Held Item that was so monstrously overpowered it didn’t just get Pichu banned from DPP Little Cup. The game developers literally had to remove it from the files. Realistically, how does someone request to write analyses for this site? The history of Pichu being so strong that it was banished to the islands of a game that “only” sold 1.53 million copies needs to be shared with the public.

…okay but in all seriousness I would like to learn how people write these

well its not hard. You just need to understand what is important and what isn't when writing. Putting stuff that isn't important in your analysis is called Fluff. I think you would greatly benefit from practicing professional writing.

Maybe it’s just coincidence that this is coming up here of all places but I’m actually going to take that as a compliment. In the off chance that was your goal, thank you. I’ve actually had a strong interest in writing at least since, I’d say around 2019 is when it really started, and putting all of the Fluff aside, real, actual analysis writing could be good for me to practice with and may even prove to be quite fun as I hope to learn more about the game.

As far as where I would put the Fluff, that would probably just be something I do for fun, not anything I would actually be posting on the site for official use.

All of this being said, this is Smogoff so you (not referring to anyone in particular) never really can tell when someone is speaking sarcastically or not. I’m probably thinking too hard into this.
