yeah honestly if you had me guess which one was the physical attacker and which one was the special attacker I would've gotten it completely backwards.
Doesn't Raichu X float instead of stand?I think the tail swap works mostly because I find Raichu-X awkward as it stands. It supposedly focuses on its fists, but isn't in a position to use them without falling over. Standing on the tails would work for a specially-oriented form as a vantage point for ranged attacks, and I could accept that stance as a way to get some martial art vibes out of tail slam attacks, but it just seems counterproductive for punching.
Thanks!! This is ludicrously specific, but is there any rectangular box that specifically says "Estimated Release Date: 2/28/2026"? That would indicate a date actually programmed into the eShop system rather than just written description text.View attachment 770686
I completely forgot the $30 part... SV dlc costed more but also it covered teal mask + crown tundra, this DLC better be huge.

Sorry for the dumb question - where does the official site say "winter"? I've seen this in three unofficial places now but as far as I can tell, the official site only says "soon" (the early purchase deadline isn't a release date and doesn't say "winter").It has a general release of 16/10, because if you buy it things are applied in the base game, such as the clothing.
The story content has a placeholder of 28/02 which is just the end of the “winter” period.
It’s gonna be interesting for data mining purposes though, I wonder since it’s technically “released” that we’ll be able to see all the innards of it before the story content is added?
I really hope you don't actually have to git gud to earn the mega stoneI assume the ranked battle seasons last about a month; that's how SV handles their seasons.
The second is a rank up reward, not a participation reward. There's too many unknowns other than the battle club also does the 26 ranks thing the main game does for its story. It's possible it could be as simple as "winning a battle will move you from Z to Y rank" and "You get the mega stone for reaching Y Rank". It's also possible it could be a mid rank reward or that they take many battles
Y floats not X.Doesn't Raichu X float instead of stand?
speaking of floating...
FIGHTING/FLYING MEGA CRABOMINABLE WITH AERILATE PLEASE THE CRAB MUST ASCEND
No?Y floats not X.
What do you mean they aren't blocking it from mega evolving why wouldn't theyWait is Alolachu seriously going to lose its Psychic typing upon mega evolving lmao

If we're going to be honest...I'm apprehensive. I love Megas as a concept but there's a reason every other mechanic since allowed it to be accessible to every mon in the game. Champions seems to be the solution for future mechanics coming and going from now on, but I remember the days of feeling like you had to choose a mega or perish unless you went to the lowest tiers where only Mega Audino thrived. I just hope that Megas can coexist with team building diversity and new gimmicks as well.Lets be real though - whatever we think about the Megas aesthetics - isn’t it just so brilliant to be getting Megas back again in a main game?
Considering that's exactly what GO did with Galarian Slowbro... I think it's a safe bet that Galarian Slowbro and Alolan Raichu won't be able to Mega Evolve.Wait is Alolachu seriously going to lose its Psychic typing upon mega evolving lmao

God I forgot how stupid mega stone and z crystals are named. Naming the Arceus plates must have been excruciating because they never did anything like it again.Considering that's exactly what GO did with Galarian Slowbro... I suppose there's a slight chance that they will both receive a Mega with a different design from that of their Kantonian counterpart. More likely than that however, is that they could receive a Mega in the future and a unique Mega Stone to go with it. Using Aloraichium Z as a precedent, something like "Aloraichunite" and "Galaslowbronite" could work as the names of their Mega Stones.
Good news! This is Smogon where mons like Palkia, Dialga, CXalyrex riders and Miraidon are banned. A site with metas that currently have 26 different megas listed as viable to different degrees in our ORAS OU format or 22 in our Sun and Moon OOU meta. The two gens that had megas so a man's dream of a lot of them being viable can be met here.Ahahah no.
If you expect more than 4-5 megas to be viable in serious competitive play, that's what i'd call Copium Overdose.
People play to win, not for fun, they aren't going to use worse megas for charity when there's money on the line. And with the opportunity cost of "single mega per team", it's going to be same reason you don't see Palkia or Dialga used, because why would you since you're giving up the opportunity to use Calyrex or Miraidon.
(That said, I don't think megas will be an auto-include in teams. With so much more choice now, both with non-mega pokemon and megas themselves, not every team structure will need/want one.)
Lets be real though - whatever we think about the Megas aesthetics - isn’t it just so brilliant to be getting Megas back again in a main game?
Bad news, this isnt relevant for this discussion, because surprise, that's the thing for smogon too! You don't see people using Mega Audino in OU do you? (And let me tell you, you can ban every single mega from OU, and people would STILL not use Mega Audino)Good news! I think you've missed my point entirely.Ahahah no.

y'know, at least if the next legends game doesn't bust our ankles and we actually have snivy, litten, and popplio as starters, snivy could at least get something, maybe a new regional. the sinnoh starters? just lost their remake tax and got nothing out of it. they are COOKEDSo, to recap:
-Mega and GMax Kanto Starters
-Mega Hoenn & Kalos Starters
-Hisuian Typhlosion, Samurott & Decidueye
-Almost certainly Mega Meganium, Feraligatr & Emboar
-Exclusive Z-Moves for the Alola trio
-GMaxes for Galar trio
-Paldea starters are most recent so who cares
