Rate my wi-fi rain dance team

Swampert @ Leftovers
Relaxed nature
EVs: 240 HP / 216 Def / 56 SpA
- Earthquake
- Surf
- Ice beam
- Stealth Rock

This is totally standard Mixpert from the analysis. Sets up rocks on the first turn and later can come in to absorb electric attacks and wall some physical attackers. I'd like to have roar on this guy as well, but I'm not sure what I would drop for it.

Bronzong @ Damp Rock
Relaxed nature
EVs: 252 HP / 152 Atk / 8 Def / 96 SpD
- Rain Dance
- Hypnosis
- Gyro Ball
- Explosion

I'm not sure about the EVs for this guy. I took them from the analysis page, but I'm not sure I really need that much attack. Bronzong's main role is to put someone to sleep start the rain and then later explode when it's HP gets low.

Azumaril @ Choice Band
Adamant nature
EVs: 240 HP / 252 Atk / 8 Def / 8 SpD
- Aqua Jet
- Waterfall
- Double Edge
- Brick Break

An absolute monster in the rain. Aqua Jet does huge damage to anything that doesn't resist it. Azumaril can also sweep low HP Pokemon late in the game even without the rain.

Gengar @ Wide Lens
Timid nature
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 6 HP
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Thunder
- Destiny Bond

This is a slight variation on the standard Gengar. Thunder over Thunderbolt because he will likely be in the rain. Wide Lens over Life Orb because 3 of his moves have 70% accuracy when it's not raining. I Might consider another attacking move over Hypnosis since Bronzong will likely have put something to sleep, what would be the best option?

Toxicroak @ Leftovers
Adamant nature
Evs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 6 Spe
- Substitute
- Focus Punch
- Stone Edge
- Sucker Punch

SubPunching Toxicroak. Does failry well in the rain because dry skin and leftovers heal the HP he loses from Substitute pretty quickly.

Any advice for a replacement for this guy, who can hopefully counter Swampert and other water types?

Kingdra @ Life Orb
Naughty nature
EVs: 252 Atk / 168 SpA / 88 Spe
- Rain Dance
- Waterfall
- Surf
- Draco Meteor

A second Pokemon who can start the rain. Does quite a bit of damage on either side.

I just started using this team today and have gone 4-0 so far. I'm not sure how well this team would do against a really strong OU team, but among the people I play with most people usually stick to BL Pokemon.

Looks like a very solid team to me, Theres no need to put roar on that swampert since you can't really remove anything.
Evs for bronzong look fine, I would personally shoot for more Def since its your rain starter for the most part.
Gengar could go with Energy ball since you don't have another grass attack anywhere on your team.

Solid team. Swampert is a great lead, especially to counter SS leads. As for Abomasnow, Gengar can take it. I can suggest you get a Pokemon to set up Rain Dance besides Kingdra & Life Orb to Azumarill just to add to their potential as sweepers.
This team has problems with status. Kingdra & Gengar won't like a TWave & nothing on this team wants a WoW. Breloom, played well, poses a threat, too.
Anyways, it's good.

For gengar, if you don't want hypnosis, give it destiny bond. That way gengar can damage enemies with his great sp attack and when his hp gets low....DESTINY BOND! also, he's fast so gar can pull it off.

Destiny Bond seems like a good idea. I'm going to give that a try for a while.

So far the Mon I've had the most trouble with was CMcune, who I only managed to kill with a critical double-edge and Leafeon who can hit the water Pogeys on my team pretty hard.

Bumping this up.

Right now the Pokemon I'm having the most trouble with, somewhat ironically, is Swampert. Pretty much all of my Pokemon are more or less helpless against him.

Also, I'm thinking of dropping Toxicroak in favour of something else, hopefully soemthing that can deal with Swampert and other bulky water types. He's proven to be pretty worthless in recent battles.

Ludicolo would solve your Swampert trouble and fit into the Rain theme. Leech Seed + 4x Water resist would give you a fighting chance against CMCune too.

Change your Kingdra's EVs. The analysis spread is meh.

Use Mild, and 120 Attack /136 Speed / 252 Special Attack for max output damage, and the ability to outrun breloom without rain, who i can see completely dominating this team. With max special attack, you OHKO all forms of Gyarados after rocks, and do about 60-70% to most bulky waters with Draco.

If you change Toxicroak to a Swords Dancer and use cross chop, you will beat suicune and co. 9 times outta 10, as they cant handle repeated +2 Cross Chops, and can't do much back.

Technically, thanks to Pressure, and CC's 80% accuracy, It'll beat it more like a 50/50. But that's besides the point!

What I'd probably like to see, if it's possible for you to get is Celebi over Bronzong. This would also allow you to slap Hypnosis back on Gengar. Celebi here, gives you another important resistence to fighting, which I doubt Gengar could have taken by itself, or Toxicroak, who is so frail people forget it's actually resistent to some shit. The Leech Seed can help about, and the Rain lowers its fire weakness, making it all that more sturdy. Stops that Swampert as well!!!

If only we could fit Gyarados in here...tbh it over Gengar isn't that bad an idea....lalalala

How about trying to fit floatzel somewhere? It owns in rain. Seriously. It speed is monstrous when it is raining plus its attack isnt no joke either. Rain dance+Floatzel's speed+STAB waterfall=one hurt opponent.

I don't think Toxicroak counters Swampert considering it can just Earthquake you into oblivion. This team is really Swampert weak. The only ways to beat it are exploding a Rain inducer, and hoping Draco Meteor will hit it hard enough to finish it with Waterfall.

Try the SingPunching Azumarill, it helps to set up Toxicroak sweeps.

Exploding Bronzong on Swampert doesn't even do the job. The last time I did that the Swampert survived with ~20% HP.

I can't use a Celebi because I don't have access to it.

Use Rain Dish Ludicolo over Toxicroak. He uses Rain Dish like Toxicroak uses Dry Skin, gets a STAB Water attack, Grass Knot, Ice Beam, Leech Seed

He can be quite helpful handle Water types. Lanturn can also be used (resists Water, STAB Thunder) and can use T-wave to slow down opponents. He also handles T-bolts directed at Azumarill. Thunder/T-wave/Hydro Pump/Rest over Toxicroak.

I'm pretty sure Kingdra beats the fuck out of swampert. Surf is a 2HKO, Earthquake doesnt do much back. If you're that scared then use the bulky swift swimmer, and you can shrug off his piss poor EQ 3HKO. I'm seriously not seeing the swampert weak when gengar comes close to 2HKO, and Kingdra and Azumarill always 2HKO him.
