Similar idea:
Start a politics thread. State in the OP very clearly that anyone who posts in the thread gets banned. Leave the thread pinned. Maybe have trusted posters post like. 100 freebies before no one can post there ever so that's not TOO obvious.
Bonus: Keep messages up (unless they violate Smogon TOS) so by like post 100 you keep seeing [BANNED USER] [BANNED USER] [BANNED USER] like it's an episode of firebot
 
a probably bad idea for a story:
what if superman didn't care about fighting or committing crime and was just trying to live a normal life?


it is certainly more original than "what if superman was evil", this trope has already been done a lots of times and there are no expectations to subvert.

this plot I suggested could at best work for a short youtube video, I don't see it working for a movie or an entire series.

that would be against the rules.
for some dumb reason it is against the rules to post 2 comments in a row.
and the rule isn't even properly phrased.
it prohibits "double posting", everyone who has opened a dictionary knows that "double" means "2 of the same", but apparently 2 different comments will still get you penalized.
I asked for the rule to be re-phrased but smogon doesn't feel like doing this.
