Post new creative movesets/EV spreads here:

well he's back online, so maybe he can shed some more light on how he envisioned this. assuming that all the people who've posted (MoP, Aldaron, Light, Stathakis) are willing to help with this (they took the time to post because they care to some degree, why else would they post), that's 4 people out of 15, assuming we use light's setup, which looks good. that leaves 11 more spots. I think we should just leave it in this thread.

OK. Yea, I'd just like to get 6 or so guys to help me out with this. Hopefully some that I recognize / trust, so while, as MoP pointed out, it would be excessively opinionated, it would be opinions that I would have no problem backing up.

I obviously am volunteering, and I know / trust Light for sure, and definitely recognize Stathakis, so that is three guys. Anyone else want to help?

I'll outline more specifically what exactly we're going to be doing once I get enough interest.

The gist of it is running through this massive thread and picking semi-viable (not even completely viable) sets, compiling them, and then getting together and deciding which ones should stay.

You can say my "plan" has two "layers"

First, we'll go through this individually and only throw what we (again, obviously subjectively) think is crap into a crap pile, and the rest into a potential pile. Then our group will get together and decide which ones form the crap pile should possibly considered again, and which ones from the potential pile should be kept.

Again, I'd like to emphasize that this is obviously all subjective. But then again, if it is 6 or 7 guys that are recognized by the community, it certainly would be better than the mess we have in this thread at the moment.

I'd like to volunteer for this, if possible.
Edit: PM me about any news.

Uhh, it'd be cool I guess if a few of you could get together and make a project of going through this entire thread and picking out the actually viable movesets / EV spreads and compiling it all into one post.

I'd be willing to spearhead that if a few people volunteered. Figure ten pages a person, so 6 people wanna help?

This topic is way too big and muddled to be of any practical help to anyone.

Sounds like a good idea, some of the pokemon sets in here are cool, but pretty much ignore all the random "scarfed pokemon X" EV spreads. I'd be willing to help cull the threads.

BTW, please consider my substitute salac porygon-Z, it can beat Blissey without having to resort to Hyper Beam OR Life Orb... :D

Just saying that you guys have to leave Bologo's creative sets in here.
They have worked extremely well on my UU team.

volunteering, lemme know what's up.

They said you needed to be well-known! Your extremely samll post count clearly shows how much experience you have in the world of competitive pokemon: almost none!

NEWBIE!!!

haha I jk ;P

I would volunteer to help, but I would pick all of my sets.

I have nothing but spare time on my hands and would like to help out. I see there's more than 7 suitors but that makes the process all the more quicker.

ahh sorry guys I already started the project with 6 guys :(

We're half way done with the first part, but I'll definitely include you all in the next part!

Heres a mixed Feraligatr set I used to run.

Feraliconda@Life Orb
252 SpAtk/80 Atk/172 HP
Rash/Torrent

Hydro Pump
Ice Beam
HP Electric/Dark
Super Power

Hydro Pump kills Hippodon, Ice Beam kills Gliscor, HP Eletric hits Gyara as well as Slobro, where as HP Dark hits Dusknoir and Cresselia. Superpower will take down Blissy.

Surf would be better over Hydro Pump due to the acc.

I'd personally go for quiet on that, Since HP ev's with a -def nature is pretty much redundant

Here is my special set I made utilizing Drapion to take out common leads. D:

Drapion @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sniper
EVs: 252 Attack / 162 Defense / 96 Speed
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Brick Break
- Night Slash
- Thunder Fang
- Ice Fang / Fire Fang

Rundown:

Drapion is a pretty awesome Pokemon. Access to some good moves, type coverage, fair stats, good typing, and Sniper. This a lead set, so we have to outspeed common leads, right? Choice Scarf will boost his speed and with only 96 EVs, he can outspeed Jolly Weavile by 1 Speed point (Effectively outspeeding everything else). Max attack is pretty obvious, and invest in Defense is to help him take weaker Physical hits better, but don't think he can take CB'd Earthquakes from Tyranitar or Salamence. Night Slash is good STAB, increased critical hit paired with Sniper = deadly. Also, hits Gengar and Starmie (Who opens with Starmie anymore?) SE, OHKO the former before he can even pull of a Hypnosis. Thunder Fang covers Gyarados, who will probably try taunting you at first or flat out nail you with Earthquake, which is only a 2HKO. Even with a +1 Speed from Dragon Dance, you still outspeed and kill (It's a 2HKO btw). Ice Fang is nice way to round out this set and 2HKO Salamence, sadly he will OHKO you with Draco Meteor. Yanmega is finished by Ice Fang if he tries attacking, thinking you will outspeed. Fire Fang can go over Ice Fang to hit Bronzong, but at max you will deal about ~20% damage whilst he sleeps you afterwards and gets a free turn to set up Stealth Rock.

I did some damage cals, and there is no possible for Drapion to survive a CB Tyranitar Earthquake, as Sand Storm will always kill him off before Drapion can before the second hit. I will test how he fairs with less Defense and more SpDefense, see if he can survive a Draco Meteor. >_>

Thoughts / opinions?

Gravitynoir

Dusknoir
Adamant nature
Leftovers
EVS- HP-252 Attack-252 Defense-4
Earthquake
Gravity
Pain Split
Shadow Sneak

A moveset dedicated to the move Gravity, it aims to take advantage of Dusknoir's ability to use Gravity combined with his respectable power. This also supports the team, particularly for Earthquake wielders who're weak against Bronzong(tyranitar is one of them, but fire fang does not cut it)and others of the like.

Would that make it... what, 80% accurate? Good idea aeroblacktyl : )

BTW, are you "MoP", ie, the guy who made up MoPcross? Or is MoP someone else.
