um.. it is a serious set for NU! how is that a "stupid post?"

:(

It's "stupid" because you said it's "the best set ever" when it's so obvious that it isn't. I didn't think anyone would need to explain this to you, but whatever.

Dunno the EXACT Evs on this thing, but this Metagross gave me some troubles:

@ Leftovers (but I bet Life Orb is probably good too).
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Meteor Mash
- Earthquake

Basically it's like a Sleep-Talker that can raise his Attack if he's damn lucky. I want to guess the EVs were 252 HP / 252 Atk with an Adamant Nature, but I could be wrong. Caused a bit of trouble since my team wasn't really strong against Metagross.
Eh, I ran something like that.

Metagross @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP/32 Atk/216 Def/8 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Meteor Mash
- Sleep Talk
- Rest

My awsome aerodactyl lead:

Aerodactyl@Focus Sash
Jolly
252 Atk/252 Spe/6 Hp
Moveset:
Stealth Rock
Stone Edge
Taunt
Pursuit

If the lead is something like Bronzong (something with not many attacking moves), you taunt. Then you follow up with Stealth Rock, as you hang on to your focus sash. If the lead is something like TTar (something with near totall attacking moves), you stealth rock, then switch. Stone Edge for STAB. Pursuit for Azelf and Gengar (Aero is faster than them). If they decide to stay in, they are 2hkoed anyway (you pursuit, they attack, you hang on, you pursuit). You can also taunt Gengar if you wish, meaning he can't hypno you.
I've ran this set plenty of times on Shoddy, and it works wonders. Try it out for yourself ;)

Why would you taunt Bronzong and risk a juicey Gyro Ball? Getting rid of Gengar first turn is attractive and it does actually ward off a few frailer leads.

Hitmonchan @ Leftovers/Life Orb
Ability: Iron Fist
EVs: 124 HP/244 Atk/140 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Mach Punch
- Sky Uppercut
- Ice Punch
- Rapid Spin

Bleh, moveset probaly wasen't new, though I removed ThunderPunch for Rapid Spin, because I really don't think ThunderPunch is useful. I'd just run away from bulky waters anyways. Mach Punch lets you hit Dugtrio, Heatran, Weavile, Infernape, and etc. EVs let you hit 272 Hp for Leftovers recovery, 223 speed to outspeed CB T-Tar, and max out it's killing potential. Ice Punch lets you kill those annoying Gliscor who want to beat you up by Earthquaking you to death. Life Orb is an option, though it really hinders your abillity to take hits. Rock Slide and Stone Edge are options, though I really don't know what to hit besides something that's going to kill Hitmonchan first anyways.

Sharpedo @ Life Orb
EVs: 252 Sa /178 Atk / 80 Spd
Naughty / Lonely [Nature]
- Crunch / Dark Pulse
- Hydro Pump / Waterfall
- Ice Beam
- Hidden Power [Electric]

The Attack EVs allow you to kill all Cress with a Neutral Defense Nature w/Crunch. Crunch also handles the likes of Dusknoir, Uxie, and other OU threats. Other moves for coverage. Do not say something like "You noob Mixape is BetR" because that is not true, can MixApe 2HKO Cress? I think not.

The EVs are kinda shaky, I need help in that department.

===================
~Damage Calculations~
===================
Crunch vs 252 Def / 20 Hp, Modest Nature Cresselia = Damage: 61.66% - 72.54% or 2HKO

Crunch vs 252 Def / 252 Hp, Bold Blissey = Damage: 42.72% - 50.28% or 2/3HKO

HP [Electric] vs 212 Hp / 0 SpD Gyarados = Damage: 85.16% - 100.26% or 1/2 HKO
Note: W/ SR this thing is dead.

I made a set for such a Sharpedo. Or rather, Scarfpedo. :P

Sharpedo@Choice Scarf
Lonely
EVs: 156 Atk / 174 SpA / 180 Speed
~Hydro Pump
~Crunch
~Earthquake
~Ice Beam
Hydro Pump does a number on quite a few Pokes, but the most important thing is that Ice Beam OHKOs standard Garchomps and such. Outspeeds those that outspeed ScarfCross. Rest in Atk to power up Crunchh and Earthquake.

@ Leftovers
Bold (+Def, -Atk)
252 HP/ 252 Def/ 4 SpD
Ability: Synchronize
~Toxic
~Baton Pass
~Wish
~Protect

My Stall Umbreon. Toxic, then protect to heal some damage off with lefties. Then Wish+Protect until the poison kills. Wish support for others too.

Useful in UU and sometimes OU. Just about any sweeper without taunt get raped by this.

Umbreon is BL so it has no use in UU. Toxi-stalling Umbreon is nothing new anyway.

I'm not sure whether this has been done, but Lapras is great as a UU Rain Dance team member. It's one of only three Water types who get STAB'd Surf to work with as well as Thunder/bolt, and the other two are banned. Also, Water Absorb lets it tackle other Waters trying to take advantage of the boost.

Lapras@Choice Specs
Modest | Water Absorb
252 Sp Atk / 92 Def / 164 HP
Surf
Thunder
Ice Beam
Hidden Power [Ground]

...So we've got a somewhat-bulky Specs abuser that loves Rain Dance support. Its main downfall is the unfortunate typing, but it does get STAB on Surf/Beam.

You're forgetting about Starmie and Lanturn (who gets STAB on both moves). There may be others that I'm forgetting as well.

Uhh, it'd be cool I guess if a few of you could get together and make a project of going through this entire thread and picking out the actually viable movesets / EV spreads and compiling it all into one post.

I'd be willing to spearhead that if a few people volunteered. Figure ten pages a person, so 6 people wanna help?

This topic is way too big and muddled to be of any practical help to anyone.

I'll do what I can if anyone else helps.

what we do is make a new thread with what a few experienced people (prob'ly not me now that I think about it) think is viable and people discuss it, adding sets that aren't included but think are viable (provided they explain why the set is viable) and denouncing included sets that aren't viable. almost like a 'poll.' after a little while, we make a new thread with the finalized stuff from the other thread and people begin posting sets that they thought are creative, and the thread is reborn with the clutter removed.

Eh, I'd be willing to help arrange this into some sort of identifiable arrangement. At 6 people helping, we have 10 pages each to sort. With 12, it's 5 per person. I'm thinking that with 15 people, 12 to sort the 5 pages, the last 3 to review the sorted things and weed out even more stuff, we'll get a decent quantity of sets.
