It's quite alright, Lil Ant. Thank you for attempting to back me up, but I'd rather you not get in trouble for something as small as a forum post. Each person is entitled to their own opinions, after all, and even if Cooper was slightly rude I believe that it won't really make much of a difference at the end.
Let's all be mature about this, alright? I admire Cartoons!'s artwork, and personally have nothing against it, and I'm sure that Cartoons! doesn't particularly have anything against mine.
I'm sure the best concept will come out at the end of the vote. If it's Cartoons!'s, then I will applaud him. If it's mine, I'll be very happy. If it's anybody else, then I will applaud them. Until then, let's try and be civil.

First off, I'm stating my opinion. Second, I explained why I think the arms look inorganic. To reiterate that point, there is no transition from the red-green of the biceps to the dark brown. That isn't really the point here, but it's my thought. Third, I'm not the first to say it looks like it looks like Grovyle, and I probably won't be the last.

Yep, this. You hit the nail on the head. Don't worry about the rest of the artists, I can outdraw any of them any day of the week. It's just Elagune that's the real problem here. If I had my choice, he wouldn't be recognized for his artistic talent, because he's better than me and I can't stand it [/sarcasm]. Honestly, how incredibly retarded are you? It's really quite alright. I understand that sometimes not everything that sounds right in your head is put down on paper correctly. Although you did throw me off a little bit back there with your apparent animosity, it's clear to me now that you didn't mean anything bad.
I have no complaints about your vote at all. It's honesty to vote for what you like, and if you don't like my Woodman as much as the Deer, then it simply means that to you his concept is better. Honesty is a virtue.
I'm voting for Doug's Jack-o-Lantern, simply because it's my favorite idea after the Tanuki (no Tanuki makes me sad). I really like Doug's idea with this, and it can work as a Grass/Fire with Ghost attacks like Hypnosis and Will-o-Wisp. And like Doug said in his long post in the other thread there are some Pokemon who can work with more than two types but only two can be chosen, like Beedrill who lacks Flying type but has a good number of Flying moves, and others like Flygon, Scizor, etc.
First off stating your opinion is cool, but ripping the artist while doing it is stupid. There is no transition? transition is needed for what. The burgundy arms with the wooden armor makes an appearance of a digmon i have still yet to witness. I never said you were the first to say it looks like Grovyle, but the other people who have said it, didn't make a rant about similar looking Pokemon, and didn't make a it a reason for their justification. Also i have only saw about 2 to 3 people, maybe even 4 compare it to Grovyle, and to be honest it doesn't even resemble Grovyle in anything but the head.
First off, calling me dumb just puts the pressure on your desperateness. Not once while me replying your post i called you dumb. Calling me dumb doesn't even do a damn thing. The reason why i called your opinion biased is because you downgraded Elagune's woodman for the same reason we can downgrade Cartoons. So if they both can be downgraded for the same reason, but you're ranting about the only reasons why ELAGUNE's drawing is bad looks like what? Oh let me guess, it looks like a well justified complaint with plenty of original and stand out points/facts about the other persons horrible drawing. Obviously you can't pick and chose a point where its announces to the topic how much Cartoons drawing is better than Elagune's so
1. You attempt to flame him
2. You attempt to make weak points, which is why no one is agreeing with you.
3. You obviously show your envy by downgrading a work of art with if anything a rare and slim shot of having any flaws in it. Whole defending a messing looking deer, whose head is caught on fired and looks like it is covered in moss. That looks like a non-bias and non-envious complaint to me.
There were plenty of people who enjoyed Cartoons picture, even me. But we didn't go as far to say, yes Cartoons yours is great, Elagune's sucks. We all respect Cartoons guts for trying something different. But you can't knock the cliche of Elagune's picture because the artistic appearance of the photo is amazing. No offense to Cartoons, the picture just seemed a bit rushed and messy. That is my opinion, just like Cooper had is, but i can bet mine objection doesn't seem as offensive then Coopers.
Why wouldn't you be bias? To get a better response from the crowd. If you maybe had some solid points with stiff justifications people would react to your feeling in a positive way. But instead, you attempted to gain some sort of publicity off insulting Elagune's photo and falsely doing it at that. Flaming someone to get attention in your objection is quite sad.
Also lastly lets get one thing strait. Your ban on me was actually because i wouldn't battle you. Yet i guess that is a perfectly great reason to ban someone. Then had to nerve to bring up irrelevant post from Aki trolling me, and me retaliating as your justification. That is the main reason, along with this crap you pulled just now for me thinking you're an asshole and you're bias.
One last thing, this just shows how bias you are, and desperate. Mocking someone just because you want, CARTOONS, not the DEER, but CARTOONS to win more. lol, thanks for proving that to everyone.

I just now noticed Lil Ant's sig and I need to clarify something up right now. You ask why I didn't say anything until your post and not Coopers? I was reading everyone's posts and borderline flames for awhile. Your post merely broke the horse's back.
And if you'll pay attention to my post, I was not singling out a single person at all, I was directing that towards everyone. And what the hell is with this moderator bias? If another moderator on Doug's server is being a dumbass, I'm going to tell them that. I did not agree with some of Cooper's statements at all and believed he should've come across a lot less harsh.
Also, as for those quotes you put in your sig, I don't have the server window maximized at all times, I do work on other things. It's only natural I miss a few things, no? I didn't even notice that quote until Aki PMed me saying you were going into Lil Ant mode again. (You two seem to have similar temperaments, it seems to me)
Hopefully that cleared up that whole fiasco.

No, because I only mostly skim through topics and didn't pay full attention to Cooper's posts until I saw yours. After that, I did a double take back into the topic and realized you guys had to knock it off.
Why would I want someone else to take the wrap for Cooper's stupidity? If he's being stupid, then he should be dealt with accordingly like anyone else being stupid, no? I don't even know Cooper well enough to stick up for him if he landed in hot water. (no offense though Cooper)
That's all I'll say on this matter, because it's just polluting the topic. If this topic still doesn't explain myself to you, then aw well. :/
If oyu liked it then why did you let some designs through that were basicly the same? I saw several logs with flames on them in the selection poll, why let all them through, you only needed 1 of a design.
Because like you said, they're the same in appearance =/. Both of your design are similar to other artworks that were done better. Dino with flame sail, Hi CyzirVisheen. Fiery snake monster, OMG Pyrrocorax you read my mind. To be blunt, if they're several artworks that look about the same in concept wise, 9/10 the person picking the pictures is going to pick the coolest looking one(s)

Yes I saw CizirVisheens, I didnt see much of a plant on it though. And anyway my dino design wasnt that much loved anyway, its my snake-beast that was.
And Pyrrocorax's design looks absolutly nothing like mine, his is a snake with grass on, mine has a bloody torso, volcanos on its back and massive wooden shields.
Also these two look far more similer too each other than mine did to anybody elses.

Thats the main reason I am aggitated, that you let both of these through then claim mine looks too similer to someone elses.

You want to know why I let several artworks in that probably shouldn't be on poll and left you out? Well....it might have to with the fact that I was impressed me more than yours. I admit I said I liked your artwork and it's true, but the art posted in the OP made me adore and like more than yours in a certain level. Sorry if that sounds heartless or whatever but that's how I felt about them. When I went through all those pages, I kept coming back to those two your clearly pointed out more than yours.
I also admit that saying your artwork were too similar to others and allow two pieces of art that use about the same concept with hypocritical of me.
Oh come on, I'm not even bothering reading all this crap. All there is to this poll is voting the art you like the most. No more, no less. People won't be swayed by you saying why you like another one. Why would you even flame people or offend artists about anything here? Stop being fourth graders please.

Also disagreeing with the whole art process was abrupt, it got a few days and GT gave plenty of notice before that. People could have started alot sooner its not stopped them in the past.
Even then we got the best series of artworks we have ever had. Seriously if you believe we could get or even need much better then the 10 quality submissions up for display, then you must have obsenly high standards.
The stat spread should be getting much longer and have priority over the art because this is a competitive project and therfore the stats will have much more effect in a competitive sense then the artwork ever will. Its alright having the prettiest art design in the world, but if it can't do fuck all in a battle then the whole project has been a waste of time.
In terms of unoriginality i think woodman's looks more like a pokemon then any of them and looks nothing like grovyle or any other pokemon for that matter. I like Woodman alot and i like cartoons but i agree it looks a little like stantler.
