Machamp @ leftovers
Adamant, No guard
128 HP / 252 Atk / 128 Spe
-Dynamic Punch
-Bulk Up
-Body Slam
-payback

Basically, this set kinda copies Curselax .
Parafusion lets you set up bulk ups easier, payback is to hit ghosts. Thoughts?

Can't Machoke learn Body Slam through FR/LG Tutor? I see no reason to use Secret Power if it's a legal set.

Alakazam@Leftovers/Wide Lens
Timid
252 HP/ 6 Def / 252 SPD
- Barrier/Psychic
- Disable/Focus Blast
- Recover
- Protect

I've tried this before and its simply use Protect for scout which attack he's gonna use and hopefully he is Banded and do Disable and do them useless to attack you and must use Struggle and die 25% of the life. And then can you do Barrier to make you take some hit or put in Psychic for a strong STABmove. Recover can work good with Barrier, but if you choose PSychic instead so can you put in Focus Blast in there maybe you should increase the SAtk ev's for that.
This maybe seems like a jokeset, but it actually work and the fastest Disable user and. Protect+Disable works good toghether to scout.
I think i dont need to tell you so much more. It works.

Too bad Disable is only 55% accurate, or I would most certainly give it a try. Disabling CBtar's Pursuit would be really cool though : )

Edited sorry, but i cant edits my posts not remove Disable for FB. Better to change FB for Recover if you will have anothe opinion.

Ehh, Disable's accuracy changed in the transition to DP. It went from 55% in ADV to 80% in DP.

Well, I wanted to somehow add this into the main site or at least make it a little more well know, but i'm a little skittish abouting posting in the Analysis Workship so i'm just going to go post it here.

** Supporting Groudon **

Groudon @ Leftovers
Ability: Drought
EVs: 252 HP / 32 Defense / 60 SpDef / 8 Spe / 156 Atk
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Dragon Claw / Fire Punch
- Toxic
- Stealth Rock

Toxic, or being badly poisoned is one of the worst status effects in the game, to inflict a wall with. The only ones that are immune from Toxic, Poison or Steel types, however will be slammed hard by super effective Earthquake and Fire Punches.

The premise of this set is to lure in walls like Lugia, Latias, Deoxys-D and break them with Toxic. All three of these top-tier Uber Walls rely on instant-recovery moves like Roost or Recover making them very susceptible to status effects like Toxic. And the walls that are immune to Toxic, Dialga, Forretress and the ever rare Skarmory all take a hefty beating out of Fire Punch or Earthquake. The only real, Wallish counter to this set is Giratina who can simply rest of damage and your Toxic whilst threatening you with a Will-o-Wisp. Stealth Rock is mostly there for scouting, but you'll also be hard pressed to find a Stealth Rocker as capable as Groudon, whilst again putting the pain on the almost omnipresent Lugia.

Whilst this set won't be sweeping, personally any time soon it can certainly open up doors for other Physical powerhouses like Rayquaza or Bulk Up Dialga to rampage through a team.

Now for a little explanation on the EV spread. The Defensive EVs are very, specifically optimised. 252 HP allows for maximum durability in this set, allowing Groudon to take hits better from both sides. The EV in defence allow Groudon to survive a DD'd Life Orb Rayquaza's Outrage (59%-70%) making it a decent counter.

Many will be thinking, SpDef EVs on Groudon? But those numbers were intended for two very common, switch-ins Lugia and Latias. The small investment of SpDef ensures that Lugia's ice beam is a mere 4HKO giving you ample time to set up Stealth Rocks on the switch in and Toxic as it either puts a Reflect or tries to nail with an Ice Beam.

These will also let your Groudon become 3HKO'd by Latias' Dragon Pulse (33%-39%) after factoring Soul Dew and Leftovers. In the mean time, you will be able again, wear away at it's durability by Toxic'ing it or simply using Dragon Claw (60%-70%), dishing out a 2HKO. Also of note, you'll be able to just survive Latias' Grass Knot (83%-98%).

This set works remarkably well with WishBliss or WishLatias, lacking a reliable recovery move of it's own. The most common switch-in's to the aformentioned supporting special walls are strong physical sweepers like Groudon or Dialga, pokemon that SupportDon can wall fairly easily with high defence, at the same time Toxic'ing enemy Dons or just Earthquaking that Bulk Up Dialga as it attempts to set up in vain.

Remember, when using this set don't see it as either a wall or a sweeper. It should be treated as a Support pokemon similiar to Donphan or Swampert in OU. It's main job is to break through walls or bulky threats with Toxic, when that's complete you may switch to your "real" physical wall such as Lugia or Giratina and simply stall it out as the Toxic kills.

Tyranitar @ Life Orb
Sand Stream: Lonely
136 Attack, 168 Speed, 204 Sp. Attack
Crunch
Ice Beam
Flamethrower
Rock Polish/ Dragon Dance

I especially made this set for ubers. Ice Beam the more likely-than-not Groudon switch-in. For the moment, you'll have to retreat. Later Speed up as Groudon or company switches in, damaged from last time and unable to stop your sweep.

Dragon Dance is a better option in OU.

I had originally made this for annoying Ninjask leads, but other than that, I'm not sure what to use it for:
Inferneape @ Life Orb?
EV's: 191 Atk/ 191 Sp.Atk/ 128 Spe
Nature: Jolly?
Feint
Flamethrower
Encore
Mach Punch

I'm not sure about the EV spread since I'm terrible with them. I'm not sure if Jolly nature would be good for it too. But anyway, for Ninjask leads. You use Encore if they Sub the first turn or Feint if they use Protect. I like to Mach Punch the first turn, they sub. The next turn, they'll use Protect, you use Feint dealing some damage(not sure it'll break the sub). If the you can then use Encore then you do whatever the situation calls for.

Well I can't see much, except for other Protect leads/scouters, and it doesn't work on all of'em anyway...if you're scared of Ninjask that much use a Hazer/Phazer.

i made this lead makes for some fun when it works
smeargle@focus sash
4 hp/252 attack/252 speed
spore
belly drum
baton pass
extreme speed

something i use on my squad with decent success as a set up pokemon, with a capability of coming in on mop up

I made this a while back when this guy with a Ninjask always beat me. I never go the chance to use it on him though. Anyway, yeah this moveset can be pretty unreliable.

I have seen this Smeargle many times on Shoddy its not new.

Belly Drum + Focus sash ...?

trust me there is a belly pass smeargle already, this one gives it an attack i know i have never seen it before. and yes focus sash, so it can still spore and finish pokes off later ;)

Focus Sash only works once, and that's when you are at full HP. If you were trying to sub or belly drum, the focus sash would fail. If you got down to one HP, Belly Drum and Sub would fail.

That's why people use Salac Berry on the belly pass smeargle; so it can get up a sub and belly pass before getting hit. Focus sash is better used on stuff like DD pass smeargle, or Ingrain pass smeargle. Hope I cleared up what focus sash does for you :P

PS: I see you talk about baton passers a lot... you'd be REALLY fun to fight : /

LOL gormenghast, you're so mean :P *BEEP* *BEEP* trace amounts of sarcasm detected... recommended course of action; avoid source of sarcasm... *BEEP* *BEEP

This is a wonderful lead and has the potential to cripple three of your opponents pokemon. Even more, it is NOT a Smogon standard set.

Smeargle @ Focus Sash
Jolly
252 HP, 252 Spe, 6 Def
Spore
Thunderwave
Counter
Mirror Coat

Spore the lead, T-Wave the switch, switch out for an appropriate counter. Now once the oppurtunity arise you can put smeargle back in for another status or an easy Counter/Mirror Coat kill. It works like a charm, but has obvious problems with Gengar lead (at which point I switch to one of my 2 Natural Cure users so they realize they're not getting anywhere and just wasting PP.

The only problem is that Taunt could absolutely ruin it. I mean, no attacking moves... remove Counter or Mirror Coat, add Extremespeed or something.
