Quick Question:

Say I have a Smeargle, and I want it to learn 4 moves via sketch (obviously). Can I go onto wifi and use sketch against my opponent and still be able to keep those moves when I return off of wifi?

Example: I use Sketch on my opponents Curse on wifi.
Then when I exit wifi and come back, the pokecenter, it will still have Curse ... ?

I don't think it would work. I'm not exactly sure, though.
What you can do, however, is get a Pokémon with Curse and go into an in-game double battle and have your Smeargle Sketch it. Isn't that easier anyway?
 
i have a question. when you use roost, you lose your flying type for half a turn. what happens when you're not a flying type eg. scizor or smeargle?
 
Wierd Question:

So I left my smeargle in the daycare at level 5, its only move being sketch. Smeargle learns sketch at levels 11,21,31,41, ect. So I figured I'd get all 4 sketches in and then try to get it to learn some moves. I pulled it out of the daycare at level 19 and found out it never learned Sketch again at level 11.

So whats this mean? Can it only learn Sketch one at a time? What happens when I get all 4 moves I need; will the next sketch still skip over and get rid of the previous moves If I leave it in the daycare?
 
It cannot have more than one Sketch at the same time. You must use Sketch, which removes it from the moveset, before it can learn it again. As long as Sketch is not present in its current moveset, it can learn it again. If all four moves are not Sketch, then one of the moves (top one I think) will be overridden with Sketch. However, there is no need to worry about that, since all four moves will still be passed to the offspring when breeding.

edit: whoops, misread your question, did they actually bring it to OU? I thought it was still Uber, that's why the following might not make sense but it's still a good read which is why I'm leaving it anyway.

They were testing it again I think, last time I checked. But the reason Wobbuffet is Uber is because it's almost always guaranteed to kill one Pokemon. How?

Your opponent has an offensive attacker out, possibly locked into it due to Choice Band....

You switch in Wobberfet somehow. Let's just say the CB'er killed one of your Pokemon. Switch in Wobbuffet.

Ok, the opponent can't switch their Pokemon due to Wobbuffet's ability, Shadow Tag. They're stuck using a Physical attack (or Special, whichever), so they're forced to use it while you use Counter, killing the other Pokemon.


I like Wobbuffet a lot but in some cases it's quite broken, which is why it's in Ubers.

I do wish they'd make it OU so I'll be able to use one. I don't play Ubers.
They may do this, for a few reasons: Strong physical dark Pokemon scare WObberfet. There's a lot of things that weaken it.

But the gamebreaking point is it's the ultimate revenge killer. The only way around it is mixed attackers, or hitting it as hard as possible and praying that it faints.

If it doesn't, you can kiss your ass goodbye.
 
Yeah, my question was just about, why it's not back to Uber yet. Because it's unbelievably broken.


It's in OU for now, as been for a while, on Shoddy.

this is not a gyro ball fortress.
it's job is to clear stealth rock for my bug team. So it`s defencive,
this is my first iv trained pokemon, it dosnt have to be perfect. =/
 
Ok, I just started uploading a shoddy team. when I chose vappy there was another ability together iwth water absorbl.

When I have a Salac Berry on a Drifblim with Unburden, what happens when it activates? Does the Salac raise Drifblim's speed one stage, and then Unburden doubles that speed value? Or does the speed double and then that number is raised one stage? Mathematically, does it even matter?

How do you get Hidden Power [Electric] on Heatran on Shoddy Battle now? What's the best IV combination?
