Since we're answering a lot of EV questions, I just want to see if anyone has any idea on this:

While EV training, if you have 506 total EVs, equip a power item to a pokemon, and defeat a pokemon worth 1 EV in any stat, what happens? Does the power item give you 3 EVs to max out your EVs, does it give 4 and ignore the 1 EV from the pokemon, or does it give none?

In other words, how does EV priority work? Even if you faint a pokemon who gives 1 Atk and 1 Sp. Atk, and you have 509 EVs total, which stat gets the EV?

Does anyone know where I can find pictures of all shiny Pokemon, like in a list so I wouldn't have to click through to see them...

I switch my sleeping Snorlax into my opponent's Azelf. It switches out as I use Sleep Talk, but Sleep Talk picks Pursuit. Does Pursuit hit the incoming Pokemon, or does it hit the fleeing Azelf?

So, basically, if Sleep Talk picks Pursuit, are there any changes in the way Pursuit behaves?

im planning on a sunny day team soon. but i need a physical wall. what is a sturdy physical wall who can set up Sunny Day in their moveset?

For the sunny day q bronzong works.

Skiddle: The only poke that I can think of that sets rocks, counters gyra and ape, and isn't weak to bug is garchomp. But you probably have better uses for him.

STalk will not hit Azelf, because sleep talk has 0 priority.

to clarify:
If a Pineco with pokerus, holding a power bracer, defeats a Bibarel, it will gain 12 atk EVs.
And the 5 other pokemon holding exp. share will gain 2 evs, if they have pokerus they will gain 4. right?

And if power bracer/ Macho Brace decreases speed, does that mean they will lower speed evs? Or just make the pokemon move slower while holding it?
Just like if someone used string shot on you.

Yup^

Well, more like six string shots. The Speed EVs themselves aren't affected though. :)

serebii has all the pokemon and they're shiny forms

Okay, so I have a question about passing down Egg moves.

I'm breeding a Gardevoir with Banette for Will-o-Wisp. Banette has Flash and Will-o-Wisp, and is male. Gardevoir is female, and has Psychic, Hypnosis, Future Sight, and Calm Mind.

If I breed them, will the baby always get Will-o-Wisp?

56k warning.

That, and Flash!

Ugh. Guess I'll go delete Flash.

Also, does the Serebii D/P IV calculator work for Emerald? And, where can I find a guide about the IV guy at the battle frontier?

Yeah the calculator for DP is the same for ADV, just that DP has more pokemon. This is a horrible description but the guy is in a random building near the middle, hes not in a big place or nothing its just a tiny random building.

No, not where he is. Like, when he says something about a stat, what does it mean? Like, if he says defense is "outstanding", where does the Pokemon's defense IVs lie?

EDIT: Nevermind. Hooray for the Smogon breeding guide!

I was wondering about this too, but for MetalKid's calculator.

If the IV dude says that a stat is "flawless", would it be safe to assume I could choose one of the 31 IV characteristics for a more accurate calculation? (IE, "The Attack is flawless!" = "Likes to thrash about"?)

am i doing the wi-fi trading correctly?

I enter my friend's friend code in the pal pad

i go to the basement of a pokemon center and go to the wi-fi room

i request the trade option

Well, if it only has one 31 stat. If it has two, then no. I'm not sure if the IV guy will tell you about more than one stat. Try talking to him about the same Pokemon more than once.

I'm kinda used to characteristics only telling you about one. I guess the only other thing I wonder is if the IV dude tells you IVs in the same order that characteristics do.

I've noticed in Diamond/Pearl that if there is more than one 31 IV, it'll tell you in order of HP/Atk/Def/Sp.Atk/Sp.Def/Speed. So if you've been breeding a while and get a bunch of "Often dozes off" then you have a good chance of being near your goal.

Will sometimes tell you. I've had many Pokemon with a 31 HP IV that have had other characteristics.

Ah, okay. I'll keep that in mind then.

Edit: Now if only my Delibirds would quit pretending they're a multi-link save glitch... >.<

How much does a Dragon Dance or SWords Dance or anything of that matter boost? I know it's +1 and +2, but what does that mean statistic wise exactly?? Also how much do Berries like Petaya Berry and Salac Berry boost?
Reposting because no one answered. I'd really like to know this info please.
