I need to ask a question about Lickilicky, about the first set on it's Analysis page (Knock Off).

My Lickitung has great, great IVs, but it only has 29 in Speed. How crucial is the speed on this thing? What am I trying to outrun?

Because I was wondering if I should just use the EV spread given in the Analysis, or take away 8 EV points from another stat(s) and add to Speed to make up the difference.

Thanks!!!

edit:

Ohh what are some good suggestions for a cute theme team?

I was thinking Phione, Cherrim, and Castform. Either Phione or Cherrim could setup well for Castform or Castform could set up for either, but it kinda dies there...

Eh, IIRC, Phione is very Rain dependant, and Cherrim in the sun is a must. So you're gonna have to be using both Sunny Day and Rain Dance..
I don't like the idea that much.

I do have an idea though.

Switch Cherrim for Light Ball Pikachu with Thunder. Run with Rain Dance. You'll just have to look out for other Electrics.

(Even better, you could try using the Surfing Pikachu from PBR, lol)

About that sheer cold articuno...

So I asked (on this page or one of the previous few) about the calm Articuno with Mind Reader/ Sheer Cold and then maybe Roost and Ice Beam, probably holding leftovers.
The response was that Sheer Cold is banned.

I don't do much competitive battling, and so I am curious: how well "would" this do or "could" this do?

And WAY more importantly to me: what about for Battle Tower? How do you guys think this will fare in BT?
Also, if it is feasible, team suggestions involving this?

does attack get cut twice with two pokemon in a 2 v 2 battle? for example tauros and salamence versus garchomp and machamp

In detail:

The damage is shared if the move you're using hits both targets. For example: Surf's original Base Power, 95%, is divided into two, which gives you 47.5%. Then the two opposing targets will each take 47.5% of damage, while additional effects such as "super effective" and "not very effective" are calculated seperately.

However, there are only a certain ammount of moves that follow this.

Whats a good anti-lead right now? Able to deal with Gengar and Bronzong?

spiritomb @ lum berry
Ability: Pressure
Nature: Careful
Ev's: 252 hp, 140 attack, 116 sp.def
~ taunt
~ pursuit
~ pain split
~ will-o-wisp

taunts bronzong and then bronzong can't do shit to it.

taunts gengar. if gengar hypnosises the first turn, lum activates as he tautns. then he pursuits the bitch

I answered this earlier today =/

How do you guys overcome teambuilders block?

the answer provided isn't really sufficient, as I already do what was suggested

Lickilicky is pretty mediocre overall, especially with its craptastc Speed. First off, Speed mainly matters if you're using Gyro Ball. Otherwise I don't see a problem even with, "only" a 29 IV. <-------- :/

After reading the strategy dex, Lickilicki hasn't a chance of outrunning anything. Dont bother with speed Ev's.

Thanks.

I wasn't planning on using Gyro Ball anyway.

I guess I'll put the 32 that was supposed to go in Speed, into Sp. Def, just in case. And every little bit helps.

HOWEVER....

I'll wait for a second opinion on this, if anyone comes around.

Can someone find me some people that have a good: Brave Groudon, a TR Deoxys-D, TR Giratina, and a Quiet Dialga besides Pulse and Kami's. Please.
