Meh, I kind of wish that they colored the background in behind Giratina.

You know, turning the White into a platinum-ish color.
 
wow they actually managed to make the male character look even gayer.

improvement that needs to be made: Fully implement the touch screen. The way it is now, only being usable in battle and in the bag, feels like they forgot the DS even had a touch screen and added it in as an afterthought. We should be able to use the touch screen on the field and in all the menus. Keep the clock on the bottom screen but get rid of the rest of that junk and put in touch buttons.
 
The orange on the box art makes me think they left a homage to the opal idea.

I know most people meant colorless or white opals, but I've always liked the fire variety.
 
Hmm I really have no idea about programming but..

Shouldn't some of the coding for Sky Regigas and Shaymin's new form be in the D/P games already? Just a thought.

There is no such thing as "Sky Regigigas."

Shaymin and Giratina are like Deoxys in Gen III, i.e. when you do a link battle (either local or over Wifi), the game Shaymin or Giratina resides on determines what stats and types, et all, it will have. During such a battle, the game card belonging to the player that is using either Giratina or Shaymin on Platinum will send the data for that "forme" to the other player's game card. This data, during Gen III, was just a temporary "patch," and as such wasn't stored on the opponent's game after the battle was over. Whether or not the sprite data can or will be patched to the opponent's Pokedex in Gen IV remains to be seen.

That is what's making some people think that the movie Regigigas is needed to make the other three Regis catchable.

It would help a lot if we could get a translation. It's pretty sad that in a site full of hardcore Pokemon players no one can translate Japanese into English.
 
I don't get it. Are they just announcing the Movie Regigigas on that page, or saying that we DO need it to get the damn Regis? And is there any reason they give us a battle with Regirock instead of showing his new room?

Gotta ask for a translation to a japanese-speaking friend.
