[02:37] <MoP> question: if i use power item on my lead poke, and exp share on the let's say chimchar, does chimchar get 6 atk evs from gyara, or only 2

Does the everstone trick work with pokemon other than ditto? Because I've been trying to breed an adamant female totodile with everstone attached, and I've yet to get a single adamant one.

Also, a couple of days ago, I was trying to get a sassy snorlax with curse. The sassy snorlax mother was holding an everstone with a male curse rhyhorn, and no sassy snorlaxes. About 3 batches for each ¬_¬

I'm on DP, if you're wondering.

yoshi : i think your just getting unlucky. it should work.

also could someone explain to me fully how the sleep clause works in standard battles? i understand that if you put one poke on the opposing team to sleep you cannot put another one. but what if you yawn them and they stay in causing two of their pokemon to be asleep, does that break the clause? Or if they have a rest-abuser on their team, can you put one of their pokemon to sleep if their resting pokemon is already asleep? thanks in advance for the responses.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong in any way. To answer your question I believe it does break sleep clause if you use yawn after you've already successfully put to sleep one of your opponent's pokemon (it's not a pseudo-hazing move). Also if you were the one who put the Status absorber to sleep then yes you can no longer put another pokemon to sleep it doesn't matter if you put to sleep a resttalker or not. However if it's asleep because of Rest then you will still be able to sleep another pokemon.

thanks for your response servant, im pretty sure your right about the restalker sleep issue but im still not sure the yawn one makes sense. basically using yawn after you've already put something to sleep = DQ? anyone else know about the issue?

Rest, ie self induced sleep, doesn't count. There can only be one pokemon that you yourself forced to sleep on their team at any time, so using a sleep inducing move while you've already slept a pokemon does violate sleep clause.

I am pretty sure that using Yawn while you have already put a poke to sleep would count as breaking the Sleep Clause.

What is the best berry to make Poffins for Beauty ( Obviously trying to get a Feebas to a Milotic ) and how do I obtain said berry?

Thanks.

I just got an Adamant Muk that I'd like to train, but I have no idea what moves to give it other than Acid Armor and Gunk Shot/Poison Jab.

For some reason I thought it got sucker punch but it doesn't. It's in DP so I don't have access to Emerald move tutors and ti already exists so no moves I can breed into it. Any ideas??

If you look at the analysis, an Adamant nature seems to best lend itself to a Choice Band set.

Gunk Shot / Poison Jab
Explosion
Payback
Brick Break / Focus Punch

That would be perfectly viable.

I don't know if using Acid Armor in place of the unavailable Curse on the Curse set would be a good idea, though.

In the "physically base mixed" electivire set, does the 80 spA allow it OHKO something specific, or something else? Reason is, I want to breed a hasty one, just to outspeed base 100 and some garchomps perhaps, but taking the bit from speed does not equate to 80, so is it advisable to sacrifice some attack EVs, or just have a weaker thunderbolt?
